I cannot thank you enough for all the warm wishes for my big 30+10 birthday! You girls are sooo sweet! My boys really spoiled me, DH had the whole house decorated with 40s and big banners and it was just all so sweet and so considerate. DS was very excited and called it an all day mommy birthday party! AHHHHH!
Katie - I am so sorry you are in beta hell, I have been there and it drives you crazy. I really hope that your beta starts rising "normally" and that all is well with your bean! I believe Hope had something similar where her beta did not rise great then it picked up!!! So I hope Monday brings you great results and I am keeping tons of PMA!!!! Huge hugs!!!
Anton - yeay for not spotting anymore! I cannot wait for Wednesday so that we can have confirmation!!!!! I am soooo excited that this is your turn to be preggers with gorgeous baby - ies, you and DH deserve this so much!

Still praying for a rise in beta tomorrow. I know you mentioned it might take longer than 48 hours, 72 hours might make all the world of a difference, and it might of been a vanishing twin, so hang in there!

Maybe you could call and see when you can go in for the beta. I know it normally takes 2 weeks though and if you had transfer on Thursday, the 24th you would be on day 4. A little time, with alot of patience, you will do great!
Rio, awww that is so sweet of your dh making your birthday so extra special with the banners and sounds like your son had a blast in helping him. Certainly a special birthday you'll never forget! I'm actually trying an IUI for this cycle. Today already marks day4 and after taking bc for a week I'll start stimming with follistim. First lab visit will be on Wednesday

Does everyone know by now that once the med has been opened it is only good for 28 days? It says that outside on the box, but foolish me with being so new just last Fall didn't notice that, oh well you live and learn! We knew going in that the fertility treatment was going to be expensive, but the upcoming day when we bring home that healthy baby-- it will be all worth it!
I have faith that through God ALL things ARE possible, because He will continue to provide everything we need. Finally this morning in Sunday School, we pass around the prayer list that gets posted online to our entire class on a weekly basis. My dh gave me approval to put us on there to pray for our ongoing fertility treatment. Never gone "public" except when we made our first exciting announcement last Spring, but I figure by now it doesn't matter what others think, we need their support more than ever!

sunshine-thanks for the advise goin try n go the whole two weeks im never lucky on the pregancy thing so not gettin my hopes up thats why i had all 4 put in hoping 1 would latch ,it maybe my imagintion im sure i had some light cramps 2day think mayb my period is coming..x

Greekchick- Everyone is different with bedrest every clinic says different amount of days... mine said a day is fine, but I stayed this time on bedrest 5/6 days and had DH do everything just so I wouldnt question anything after beta... i know I did everything I should have so if its negative for me who knows what went wrong... I think as long as you arent over doing things you are fine
As for cramps that is from the progesterone you are ok... Out of 4 beans I think you will definitely have your Positive
Rio- Thank you it was nice to hold alittle baby and to just think about my journey... My dog was a little jealous but was fine with the baby he just wanted more attention from me I cant wait till my day comes to be a mom
Sunshine- I am saying lots of prayers for your upcoming Journey, I will be your biggest cheerleader

I'm with Kynlee I think the cramping could very well be related to the progesterone. With 4 embies I think you have a good chance of this working, so stay positive. Try to find something to distract yourself for now, maybe some good movies, but what are some of your fav hobbies?

Furniture shopping sounds like fun! We went crazy with our first house, it was tax-free weekend in Georgia, and so I had EVERYTHING picked out in one day lol, I did some serious damage that weekend. Funny though when you have to move again 5 years later how the guest bedroom-suit swallows the whole room now.
Anyway I started a "summer thread" several weeks back. I think it's great how this board has stayed going for so long. We certainly have a connection that makes it's hard to leave, certainly with so many great friends! But hopefully with a little more time, I will be able to join you all on the other side....We know God will be answering alot of prayers this week!

Anton- If you've stopped spotting then I'm sure it was related to implantation. I didn't have any implantation spotting but I looked for it and wished for it because it's a telltale sign! Are you going to poas?
Greekchick- No, you don't need to feel anything to be pregnant. Most don't. Some do feel mild cramping at implantation but aren't sure that's what it was until bfp. You transfered 4, you're chances are great. What is your age? How many cycles have you done?
Katieb- I was thinking about your beta. Perhaps you had a vanishing twin? I'm praying you still have a bean in there. Were these your last frosties?
Kynlee- I'm so sorry about your ankle! I hope it's not broken.

Lou- We do x-rays at the hospital that are panoramic for people who may have a broken jaw which just like the dental x-ray. In fact, I usually do one at the hospital when it is time for my dental x-rays & take them with me to the dentist. So I don't have to pay for the x-rays. A lead apron would be fine for a dental x-ray and you always ask them to fold it so the baby is double protected but it isn't necessary. If I wasn't in the field I would be worried too. Don't worry if they go running behind a wall..lol They have to since they do them all the time. I step out of the room when I shoot an x-ray or at least 6 ft back if I am not wearing lead bc I do so many of them. My SIL is an x-ray tech too when she was pregnant someone shot the xray while she was still in the room, but her son Tanner is perfectly fine. Anyways, I hope that helps. Of course you can always wait until the 2nd trimester for a cleaning.

Thanks for asking about my mom. We go Thursday to do all the cat scans and other tests to see what stage the cancer is & what the game plan will be. I think the unkown is worst part. Your mind goes to places it doesn't need to be. I guess it is like the saying goes " Hoping for the best & preparing for the worst". AFM; I have found a new addiction it is ovulation pee sticks I figured while we are in limbo we would give it a shot on our own until July. I am POAS like crazy to know when I am ovulating..LOL.Amanda1979

Hi everyone!
...well, looks like my spotting comes and goes girls! one day is there next day is not! I may have nothing all day and when I go to to the toilet and wipe i see on the paper some spotting (a few spots) maybe less spoting than the day 1 and definattelly not even close to AF blood! its pinkish and light and very very little... This is starting to get on my nerves!! big time!!!
...I've asked the nurse today when I went for my shot if this is normal and she said yes this is normal. Spotting might come and go in the first month and that in general, a woman might have spoting/bleeding during the first trimester of the pregnancy. she told me that one thing is for sure, the kind of spoting I have doesn't mean its a negative and I should'n't give up hope! she is feeling confident that I will get my BFP tomorrow! we just have to wait and see. ...And I mean yes, theres no reason me stressing about it! after all, tomorrow I will know....but I really feel this is going to be a BFP guys! I realy do! I will pray tonight that we hear some good news tomorrow!!!
Greekchick- How are you holding up filenada? Seven more days until your BFP! if i made my calculations right then you will have your beta on the 4th April...feeling nothing, is what most of the women "feel"! I am sure you in the bunch of 4 you've put in, theres at least one winner!

...our friend the one I told you we where seeing on saturday night that just got married, he told us on saturday that his wife has a 7 days delay and monday (today) they are going to make a blood test to see if they are pregnant...well today he sent me an sms (he sent the same to all the "gang") that "..there's a new kid in town 2mm long". So they are pregnant. I hope we have good news too tomorrow even though we have decided not to share with our friends at least until we make the 1st u/s. I really hope that this is IT for us! I realy do! will you guys please pray for me that I get good news tomorrow?!! it means the world to me! I am so excited and at the same time frightens me what the result is going to be. I don't thing I will sleep tonight...I am thinking of camping tonight outside the clinic and get my blood test as soon they open the doors!
