My follies look much better today, got about 11 altogether,think upping my dose must have helped.
Im hopefully gonna trigger on Sunday, so not far behind you.

Laurie, it's so weird...all the waiting and then once the stims started, time just went right by. Glad to hear your follies are doing well!

Had b/w and ultrasound today. Everything looks good. My day 5 estrogen is around 800, but I cannot remember exact number. They are lowering my dosage of Follistim to 125 units and I go back for b/w and u/s on Friday.

Ladies, I am starting to worry now, As of yday I have done 6 days of stimms, this evening would be 7th. I had my 1st BW & Scan after 4 days of stimms & my E2 was 950 so they lowered my dose by half to 150, today was 2nd BW & U/S the E2 was 2369 & the nurse said to lower my dose to 112iu for today.

The doctor said I had good no of follies on each side(maybe like 7-8, not sure) & they were like 10mm in size, I am starting to worry as my E2 is increasing & my follies are not growing, the doctor did not say that I am just feeling as they are lowering my dose each time. I'm getting scared now!!!

For 6 days of stimms is 10mm small or normal I dont know. Can anyone tell me ???

Now they r going to monitor me everyday from now bcoz my E2 levels r high. Oh God!! I hope everything turns out alright...... I cant stop worrying!!!

Mybaby- follicles grow about 2mm everyday. If you stim for four more days the follicles would probably be around 18mm, which is close to mature or mature already. Then, by ER, which is 2 days later, they should be 20-22 mm. So, I think you are right on target. Why don't you ask your Dr. tomorrow if what I just said is correct. I think you're doing fine!!

good morning ladies congrats to all i hope son we wil be all posting bfp's!!! well my embryo transfer is tomorrow and im kinda scared im not sur how many of my embies made it and divided through the nite they said they wouldnt evenlook at them today because they didnt want to disturb their environment so i wont no anything until tomorrow when i go fo my transfer. today i had this overwhelming sense of doubt which rought me to tears im no longer on anymeds im just shot free now what happens if i start my period? what happens if they go in there and dont implant? this is the 2nd to last hurdle we have to get over and im terrified. hopefully when july 2nd comes if i dont hpt before then we will be able t post good news!! have a great day ladies and sorry for the rant.

Mybaby, I am on day 10 of stims and still some of my follies are only in the 12mm range...I don't think they will catch up by retrieval, but we'll see. I think if you continue to grow 1-2mm per day you are right on track. They probably just want to control your estrogen levels a bit so you don't overstim. I know it's easier said than done but try not to worry too much.

Brandi, hang in there. This definitley must be so hard waiting until your transfer! I have the same fears. You had great numbers though so I bet everything is dividing nicely. Good luck! You're going to do great!!!

Hi Everybody,

Well, I had my retrieval today and it went well. It really wasn't bad at all. I was in pain when I woke up, but it's not so bad now. I had 26 eggs so I'm excited about that, but also worried BIG TIME about overstimulating. Apparently, the more eggs you have the more likely you are to overstimulate. We'll just have to see. They'll call me tomorrow and let me know how many of the 26 fertilize. I'm hoping a lot!

MyBaby- Don't worry about your E2 level too much. Mine got as high as 5078. They say that the number of eggs is more of a predictor of overstmulating than E2 number. Also, mine dropped from 5078 on Day 8 to 3600 on Day 9 so that's also a possibility with you too. Hang in there!!

I went for my first u/s and b/w since starting stims (day 5). My E2 was 160 and I had 3 follies in the 9-10 range and 4 less than 10. My E2 seems low compared to some of you others. I don't have a clue what it is suppose to be. I was a little disappointed with the follicle number as well. I don't know what I expected it to be, but is seems like there are less than when I went in for the supression check. My clinic does not call me with info. They set up a voice mailbox for each patient, and leave the info on it, and I call in to get it. It makes it hard to ask questions like "Is this normal?" when they do that. Maybe that is why they do it.

It seems like things are really moving for everyone. It is getting harder to keep up with it all. Mybaby your list helps out a lot.

Elvis, you report sounds very similar to mine. On day 8, my E2 was 930 and I had 9 follies around the same sizes as yours. You're doing great! When I went today RE said I had about 5-6 that looked really good. I'm hoping my others catch up, but if not, I'm hoping for some good quality eggs. Good luck!!! GROW FOLLIES GROW!!!

My last u/s was this morning (day 10) and I'm triggering tonight at midnight. I've got 5 or 6 that have taken the lead. I'm sooo nervous for retrieval Friday but remaining as positive as I possibly can! I'm being cautiously optimistic. My day 9 E2 was 1575 and I'm not sure what today's was. I forgot to ask. My trigger is for 10,000 iu of HCG tonight. Gosh I hope this works! Sounds like you might have a Sunday retrieval. Good luck at your u/s. I'll be thinking of you!
