Dogzrule - This is too funny - our transfers are at the exact same time. I'm scheduled for 2:30pm Eastern time!

I'm going to be waiting by the phone in the am, though, because my RE is going to call me to give me the embryo update, and we'll make a final decision on how many to put back.

Sunnygirl - That must be so hard to be w/o your hubby as you go through this! I hope you have some good friends or family looking after you!

Forgot to add for Pathfinder: I have heard of Embryo Glue, but I don't think my clinic uses it. If none of us knows about it, you might post a new topic on the forum for ghost - he seems to have good information about all of this.

beth - NO WAY!!!!!!!! Can there possibly be anyone else out there that are EXACT cycle twins like us, down to the TIME??? I'm laughing so hard right now. Your RE is calling you either way, eh? Maybe that means mine will too. I still hope not.

sunnygirl - I know it's so hard. I had to do every appt, with the exception of one sono, without my DH because he has to work. My mother-in-law was there to take me home from the ER. Unfortunately, it's our bodies that everything is happening to, so it often feels like we're alone when our DH can't be there. Especially for you because you had to go away to do all this! (((hugs))) It is worth it!

Dogzrule - I know!! So hilarious! And I just looked back at the boards and realized you're a teacher too (I remembered that there were a couple on this thread, and figured with everything else in common, you had to be one of them). We're just living in alternate universes! I do not, however, have any dogs. :D DH won't even think about it, after growing up in a house with 9 of them.

Yep, my RE calls either way, which I like. Of course, this means I will accomplish nothing tomorrow morning while I stare at the phone.

WOW!! This thread is very busy! I haven't posted in a few days and had 5 pages to read through!!! I am going to have to try and read everyday to keep up HaHa!

Welcome to all the newbies :P :P

Good Luck tomorrow to Beth84, Dogzrule, BabiesGalore and Cheeky!!

Kayce - Good Luck on your Beta - sounds like you are definitely BFP!! Keep us posted on your results!!! The dreaded 2WW for you is almost over.

Katie99 - Thanks for your reply. I am in "upstate" Ny, more towards Canada! I go to Syracuse to see my RE.

Thank you all for the AF dancing!! It worked and arrived on 7/16 in the afternoon. We made the 2 1/2 hour drive on Friday and had our baseline work up. Here is my schedule: We started stimming yesterday 7/18, 150 gonal - f and 75 menopur and .5 lupron as well as the baby aspirin. We are looking at around 7/29 for ER!!! My first u/s and b/w is 7/21 so I can give you more info then. CT_Michele can you updated me on the list when you get a chance?

Thanks again for all of your PMA!! Hugs and baby dust to all!!! :D

I am so glad to have found others going through the same thing. I'm still trying to learn all of the acronyms, but my timing seems similar to Path Finder. I'm on day two of my Gonal-F and Lueveris injections and have a monitoring visit on Wednesday. So far so good. I'm hoping for a ER the week of the 27th.

I'm 30 and my DH is also 30. This is our first IVF.

I also have to do all appointments by myself. DH will, of course, be coming to the ER to provide his specimen. Since our difficulties stem from male factor we want the freshest, best spermies we can get!

Other than that, I'm all on my own for appointments. I'm ok with that though!

GOOD LUCK TOMORROW EVERYONE!
I'll be watching for your posts!

LOL that reminds me...my hubby was able to go in early the morning of the ER to give his specimen (then had to leave for work). He went to the usual lab, then came right back in not even 5 minutes later. He says, "No, I wasn't THAT fast." LOL I was dying it was SO funny. Turns out he had to go to the super sterile ivf lab in another part of the building for that one. When he came out to leave, he told me.....wait for it.....wait for it..."The cup loves me and wants me to come back."       Omg I'm laughing so hard at the memory. I have an hysterical hubby.

Good morning ladies,

Wow, I have really missed a lot. My Grannie passed away yesterday, so we have been holding our family tightly this past week.

I am from Tampa Florida, It is pretty neat to see how we are from all over the world.

dogzrule - you are in such great spirits, that is so encouraging! You really made me laugh reading your posting about your husband. Best of luck to you and your IVF twin, Beth!

lw918 - I know how you feel, my DH has been traveling for work too. He is gone all this week Sun-Friday. He will be home just in time to give me my stim shot on Sunday.

Here is my update:
I am in week 2 of Lupron
Stimulation Starts July 26th
ER August 6th

Good morning, ladies! Just a quick check in, and then I have to run errands, get groceries, and generally get my life in order for my two days of bed rest...

Cressicaw - I'm so sorry about your grandmother! This is a hard enough time, I'm so sorry for your loss.

Cheekyone- congrats! Take it easy and let those babies settle in!

Dogz - your hubby is hilarious! Good luck today!

Good luck to those having their transfers today. That's super exciting. I feel like I may never get there! :D This process is so long. I've had an ovarian cyst due to the femara/ovidrel they had me on in May which delayed my cycle start.

In reading your post, I see that many of you have a beta. My doctor hasn't mentioned that. I'm supposed to just do the 2ww after my transfer to go back in for a PT. Is a beta normal? How many days typically is it after transfer?

I feel like the stim drugs are making me a little nauseous. Its bearable, but a pain. Tonight, I'll be taking a cooler to my DH's tennis match and shooting up in the car. LOVELY!

Best wishes to you all. So glad to have found someone who knows what I'm going through.
