3 Day Transfer:

1dpt... Embryo is growing and developing
2dpt... Embryo is now a blastocyst
3dpt... Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day
4dpt... Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining
5dpt... Implantation begins,as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining
6dpt... Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining
7dpt... Morula is completely inmplanted in the lining and has placenta cells &
fetal cells
8dpt... Placenta cells begin to secret HCG in the blood
9dpt... More HCG is produced as fetus develops
10dpt... More HCG is produced as fetus develops
11dpt... HCG levels are now high enough to be immediately detected on HPT

heekinje Glad to hear you are not going crazy with the 2ww. My Lupron is going great and I have a SnS on Friday to see how I responded. I'm so excited to start my stims and catch up with all you PUPO girls!

Libby Yay for your 12 little embies!!! I'm sure that 3 will be a fine number to transfer if your RE suggested it. Here's hoping Saturday comes quickly

Franca Welcome and you have come to the right place for support. These ladies are a wealth of info and a great shoulder to lean on. IVF is full of lots of ups and downs so just hang in there. By the way, BFN stands for big fat negative. There is a link in the general forum that has all the abbreviations. I think it is the third from the top if you are curious

Drboots I'm glad we may be close with our cycles. I know I'll be doing the Follistim and Repronex but not sure on the doses till Friday. I'll update then too

Kim Its nice that the family comes to you so your little one is nice and comfy at home. I thought maybe you should call the RE about the cloudy estrogen shot. I would hate for you to get sick or something from it. I'm still sending thick lining vibes for you till Saturday!

Franny Yay for getting the BIAB!!! Sorry I can't help with the syringe/needle question. I just stab myself with whatever the nurses tell me too. I should be starting my stims on Friday if the SnS looks good so I could ask my nurse then if you would like. As for weddings, I loved planning mine too so I am hoping my friend asks me to help out. BTW, soon the best things in your's and your DH's life will be waking at 2:00am for feedings and changing stinky diapers!

Hi Ladies!!!

Franny-I LOVE YOU!! Your words always make me smile and your support is amazing!!!! Only 10 more days of BCP's until your journey starts BTW we sound like the same person...I LOVED planning my wedding (my mom used to be a party planner) so we also had the binder and I loved doing all the details and then I LOVED planning the honeymoon to Australia!! I think in my next job career I may be an event planner (but I only love doing it for people I care about!!!). I also have my best friends 1-year olds birthday on March 23rd which will be the day of my second beta (that is if I get a BFP) so it will either be the best birthday party or the worst!!!

Franca-Welcome to the board!!! These women are amazing and are great resources for questions, love, and support!

Marci-I love the constant updates with the list and you are always so cute with your phrases! makes me smile and sooo glad to see my name in the PUPO group!!!

Kim-your names are hysterical!! I must admit that I was with DH in the waiting room when I read it and asked him about the names (since I am not the biggest Star Wars junkie) and he told me it was Harrison Ford's character that was frozen which is perfect for a FET!!! So Han and Solo it is!!! They and Luke will have the force be with them!!!

Babyluv-how did your ET go today??? How many did you transfer?? When is your beta? I got lucky and get mine on 3-20 since I'm going away to DC on 3-21 so it's only 9 more days for me of waiting!!

Libby-can't wait to hear the new fert report today and how many u decide to put back!!

Drboots-I spotted while taking my BCP's so just let your RE know if it's breakthrough bleeding but spotting is totally normal!! So jealous of your spa day!!

AFM...well I'm officially PUPO!!! I stll can't believe the last two days. Going from being canceled yesterday to getting a call at 10:30AM this morning that I had an hour to get to the DR for my transfer!!! After my FET I went home, ate lunch and passed out for 2 hours!!! The emotions and the prometrium really knocked me out!!! I am back at work now because I unfortunately have to teach tonight but the RE said that was fine and as long as I don't do heavy lifting that my normal schedule was how I should proceed So I didn't have Chinese planned tonight because I am working but I am eating eggplant parm and I thought EGG-PLANT was totally justified in eating tonight!!!!!

love you all and thanks for being the support I needed these past few weeks. I have everything crossed this is my time

OMG i LOVE IT!! hahahahaha ok i'm TOTALLY doing that this time! i love eggplant parm and it is just perfect! i'm actually surprised barry didnt already think about it because it sounds so much like something he would do!! i also love the frozen han and solo names! perfect! so glad you got some rest, but boooo for work tonight! are you going to take tomorrow off? a 9 day wait? sounds wonderful...just enough days to start to go to crazytown, but not long enough to actually set up camp there! haha

Hello everyone,

This is the first time I have posted in a very long time. I will be going through my second fresh egg transfer (IVF) at the end of this month. And, I am so very nervous after my stillbirth last year but I just have to try again. This web site helped me out through my first two IVFs and I am really hoping you guys can help me through this again! I am really hoping this is it for us! We have been trying to have a baby for 10 years and this fertility situation has challenged our faith at times but I do have faith that everything will work out for us, finally! It seems like I have everything in life that I have always wanted but I'm missing our baby.

Angela - Welcome to our group. I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I will be praying for you and that you will be given another child very soon.

Claudia - Congrats! Your wait is way shorter than mine! But I am so glad you made it to transfer today!!

Libby - can't wait to hear how things are going!

AFM - the five embryos I had were from the 5 mature eggs (6 were immature apparently), so that was a great fert rate. Today they tried to push me to day 5, but I INSISTED on going in. I have a history of things going sour after day 3, so I didn't want to take a chance. I had all 5 still growing, 3 that looked better than the rest, so I ended up transferring two 8 cells, grade 2. I have a compacted (which is day 4, but will probably burn out from growing so fast), grade two 10 cell and grade three 8 cell left to see if they keep growing. I'm guessing none will make it except maybe the 10 cell (I've never had frosties before), but we'll see. They took the two best and put them back. My beta is 3/24.

I am feeling fine, fighting hard to take it easy DH is gone because of his board meeting, but my friends have been awesome in helping me. No lifting, though I definitely was off the couch a few times! Now the kids are in bed early and I am settling in for a night of Criminal Minds. Love that show...

Angela - I believe i remember you from last Feb. So sorry for your loss. I know only time can take the pain away. Hoping and praying that this time you get your BfP and it sticks for 9 months.

Wow this board is really taking off. Pretty soon we will have ER/Et and BFP's all over the place.


AFM- Nothing really new. Took my last BCP yesterday now just waiting for AF and then I have an E2 draw on Friday. Stop lupron on Friday and start ganirelix on Sat. I have a really wacky protocol this time around. Thank god they give me a color coded calender for me to figure out what the heck is going on.

rlk1 - oops! i must have gotten your lining check confused with someone else. but a thicker lining is always good, right? has anyone ever been canceled because their lining was too thick?
just means i need to do the lining dance for a few more days...

hopeforbabies/teresa - i love the idea that we are all IVF aunties. you should be starting your stims very soon, yes? the 12th is almost here!

angelaezra - welcome (back) to the boards! you must be an incredibly strong women, but we'll definitely be here to support you.

babyluv - congrats on being PUPO! i'm sure those embabies are snuggling in as we speak. and you never know, you might get lucky this cycle and get those elusive snow babies.

to_have_fun08/chris - wait, they have you stopping lupron as you start stimming? is something else stopping ovulation? wacky is right.

afm, Day 2 fertility report was great. we still have our original dozen embabies (i don't get any grading). i'm basically on stand-by for a ET tomorrow (in case something goes horribly wrong and there's only a couple left tomorrow morning). realistically, it'll be Saturday for the ET (or possibly Sunday - last cycle was a Day 6...blasts were slow in forming). is it Saturday yet???
