Sandra,

You are right - the cramping has subsided and my ovaries feel a little more normal - although I still feel extremely bloated - could be the meds???

Thanks for sharing your experience with the same symptoms. It's so helpful - especially as a first-timer.

I'm on day 6 of stimms now and I go for my first scan on Fri, I'm well excited. I've got real bad AF pains tho and my stomach is so bloated! I'm hoping EC to be on Tue or Wed but I dont wanna go on May test dates until I know for defineate that I'll get that far, I just don't want to tempt fate I guess!
Good luck to all on 2ww

Susie ... it seems (as with everything else) that each hospital has different protocols on freezing / thawing - some in single straws, some pairs etc ..

TJ - Glad the AF feelings gone. It's horrible, just lurking there. I don't think it's the meds that bloat you, but rather the empty follicles filling up with fluid. Your body will take time to recover from EC, especially having so many follies opened !

Hi all. I've been posting in the April thread, but since my cycle have been put back 2 weeks I'm running into May.

Counting the days now for EC I'm getting excited yet at the same time stared and nervous. I hope that the days will not be but back even more as I have tried to be very very patiant. Got my 1st scan since starting puregen on Tuesday, where hopefully I can see all those lovely follicles cooking.

feeling very bloated at the moment as I'm really not used to drinking so much fluids. :( Guess it's all for the best.

Still need to catch up on reading this thread but good luck and lots of PMA for all my May buddies. :)

Hi Kagome ... It's hard when things are delayed, and all you want to do is get cracking .. Let's hope your scan on Tuesday shows things are moving along nicely. If your bloated it sounds like something going on down there ! All being well, we should share some of the 2ww together. Good luck !

I had a similar thing happen to me last year but that was to do with my levels of anxiety! I was quite nervous before my first IUI and I was so determined to get pg naturally that I almost tricked myself into thinking it had worked. I think that I had got so stressed about it, I suppressed my hormones working properly so didn't get the usual PMT even though boobs were sore etc. Eventually AF arrived several days later...

But you never know, miracles do happen!

Fingers crossed the outcome is positive either way (AF arrives or pg)

Hi Mayflowers

gradually working my way through here trying to catch up!!!!

hey Sand - well done on your 10mm endo, are they stimming you more now??? Hope you are running round the house getting the blood pumping!!! Thinking of your frosties :) :) :) :) and here's to the womb wizard and the endo elph - get cracking guys!! 8)

Hi Kagome, the main thing is that EC goes well. Waiting is pants isn't it?? keep up the PMA sweetie :)

D - what are you doing in the DIY store???buying door handles     you do sit down when you are in the car don't you?????
My doors tipped up - they were in the garden apparently but rescueable. In all the bill for rubbish clearance, industrial clean and repairs will be about £1k Grrrrrrrr still less than another 6 months mortgage :D

Nicola - you know I am thinking of you 8)

LittleP - nearly histo time!! yeh yeh yeh at last sweetie!!

hi Susie - I know what you mean, I am trying to stay one step at a time, hard though isn't it???? I think where we are going it depends on how many you have and what quality they were.. I've heard things like defrost 3 to get 2 but it must depend on so many things, not least the competence of the embryologist I guess. I am just hoping we get enough embies to have some frosties    but in the end the most important is to get embies atall!!! one step at a time sweetie.

Hi TJ well done for all those eggs, and see you on the 2ww board, baby dust sweetie

hi Tyler - sounds good - did you have all three put back???? are you on the road for twins then   lots of twins on the over 40's group!! listen to the girls though and rest now :) :) 8)

I've posted elsewhere but quick update - AF due tomorrow (come on!!!) start patches and nappy rash phase   and just praying to the womb wizard and endo elf to do the business 8) 8) meanwhile I guess at some point later on I'll hear from George about how our donor angel is doing ....

Love to all Mayflowers

Hi BigJ ... Thanks goodness you're feeling better .. It really gave you a kick this bug didn't it. ... and a fridge full of healthy stuff. You are a good girl !

So, 10mm is good is it ? I know they said 7 or above, but it's all dutch to me. What I'm freaking about this morning is that on cycles 1+2, I had ET on day 18 of my menstrual cycle. This time it'll be day 21. Surely that can't be right.

The reason I'm freaking is because I think they're just working me around their schedules. Day 18 will be Sunday. They don't do ETs on Sunday. Monday's a bank hol. Can't do it Tuesday cos frosties need defrosting night before (Mon bank hol), so they've stuck me in for Wed ? What if I'm overdone ?

Can anyone remember the day of their cycle when they had ET, on an FET ..??? I really don't want to ring the hospital, 'cos I still feel a twerp.

Hi Sand

As far as I know as long as your endo has done the business it wont matter, but do ask the question (although I understand you being p'd off at being fitted in   ). In my case for example, which is similar to your FET I suppose, I start patches on day 1 of AF and have scan on day 10, then as long as endo at least 7mm (as they told you) they said ideally ET should be 5-9 days after that so up to day 19, but it depends on where donor angel is in her cycle as to when EC and ET can happen so theoretically it could be another day or two, or even a bit earlier...it's not the same as when you are cycling and they need to get eggs out of you I think the timing is less critical and it's the result that matters.

At least that is what I am telling myself

You are not a twerp

and yes 10mm is yummy good, I was only getting 7mm on HRT when they did a test scan for me last month, but I am assured that with George's magic nappy rash patches I'll get an endo to die for   and you should get a few more mm between now and next Wednesday so don't worry just get that blood flow moving!!!!! (get the hoover out .... )
