Good luck to everyone having treatment this month. I think That is just about everyone except me. It will be lovely to see all the BFP's!!
Smita - congratulations on the second trimester.

Denise + princess - Good luck with the 2ww.

Jag, nicki and Chanteq - Good luck with your forthcoming 2ww's

Denise I am currently on the waiting list for IUI (which is about 6 months). I am trying clomid in the mean time, although due male factor also it is a bit of a long shot. My clinic don't do IUI on a private basis, so there is a longer wait for IUI than IVF.

I hear you Olivia. We're unexplained, and tried clomid for 5 cycles. Made me rather nuts actually.

We were on a wait list too, and we were suddenly bumped up, so keep those fingers crossed!

Hi Lovely 30 and below ladies!

Hope you are all good!
I'm on day 3 of stim drugs and for the first day in 4 days I don't have a headache - yipee! I have avoided taking nurofen as my acupuncturist said there is just too many drugs in my body at the mo. I went to see her yesterday and she stuck 3 needles in my head one in my forehead and the other 2 on the sides - felt a bit strange as I could see them out the corner of my eye - but heh my headache went! Scan on Friday. Something must be going on down there as I have a dull ache on my left ovary.

I hope everyone is well I have been keeping track on all the other threads!

So what are everyone's plans for the weekend? I unfortunately need to accounts for the business - need to get them all done before the busy weeks ahead  I'm off to walk the dog now though. I hope you all have a lovely relaxing weekend and the sun shines. Its a gorgeous day here in NZ - clear blue skies!

Take care

DH and I are going to the lake for some boating and swimming, a not so bad way to kill some time of the two week wait.

I measure more by the meds I've used then the days going by...

Does anyone else here have issues with hair removal?

I have just had a bath, and de fuzzed my legs ready for my scan, dont want my nurse/doctor thinking Im a hairy monster from an alien land!!!

anyway, I decided to use hair remover cream, sat it on 10 mins. It didn't remove all hairs. so I took the razor to them and now I have nicks all up my legs they look awful!!!
My legs are stinging like crazy too!!! Argh!!!

It's got me thinking.... Do all you IVF/IUI girls have the same issue. I hate having hairy legs on show. I feel embarassed when I have tmt and have in previous times always made sure I de fuzzed before my appointment. Does every one feel this way?

Also, what the hell happens when u give birth? I mean I just dont know when it's gonna happen to cant possably de fuzz? How do others cope?

Just bugging me at the momnet. I am so annoyed that my legs are ripped to death right now!!!

Arghhhhh!!!!

Chanteq good luck for Monday I have everything crossed for you and I am sending lots of positive vibes to you!

Nicki You make me giggle so much - only because its the kind of thing I would do!!!!! I'm sorry I can't say I have had a problem yet in the hair removal department - maybe it will happen soon.

I do know what you mean about wanting to look your best  When I am in "preparation" mode for an apt I always think about the story of the woman who, before going to an apt with her gyny, went to the bathrm to wash "down there". She was in so much of a rush she grabbed one of the wash flannels that was on the side of the sink. When she was having her examination the male gyny exclaimed to her "Oh that's very pretty" She had used her young daughters flannel which had body glitter on it!!! You've just got to laugh!

I hope all you ladies had a lovely weekend. Good luck to everyone this week may it be a very positive week.

Hey guys.

Boating and swimming was great... i'm a little sunburned though.

Nicki, I actually shave more regularly for the doc than I do for DH now

Chanteq, awesome news, you'll be in my thoughts on Monday.

Smita, well done on making it to your second trimester. I peeked on the pg board and saw your scan went well - that's awesome.

I have absolutely no symptoms yet, other than feeling a little tired. Not sure if that's good or bad.
