hi everyone nice to here everyones good news just been catching up with everyone posts. Sorry havent posted for a while but just lost me job on mon i got sacked for being of sick after a chest infection and asthma attcak i waz in hospital and everything. I cant believe that they can just do this to me. I am makeing an appeal just waiting to here from my employer when it is gong to be. I have been looking for another job thats why i havent posted for a while. I just dont know what im gonig to do ive never been unemployed since i left school i have always had a job.

It amazes me so much how some people just don't "get it" it is hard but there are so many things that will probably set you off. Maybe not, But I try to just let things go. one of my supposedly friends knows everything that we are going thru and she was one of the lucky ones that got pregnant right away, and everytime I saw her through her pregnancy she would lift her shirt to show her belly. I was so excited that she was having a baby and so grateful she didn't have to go thru all this.. but COME ON!!! unfortunately some people just will never understand.
that is why we are here to VENT YOUR &%^# off!!!!!

Shantala i dont know where to start about "friends" i truly believe they have no concept of what we go through i know most people i know think you have ivf (simple as that) then have a baby they have no idea what the emotional and physical journey is im not sure you can ever explain to anyone who doesnt get touched by it in some way ... i think the worse ones are the ones who got kids easy and then say "well i wouldnt have cared if i couldnt have any" that drives me nuts... i had a very good friend got married started trying for a baby and after three months she was a mess (emotionaly) so i spent time with her easing her mind the next month she caught for her baby...about a year later we where all out talking(about poor me) she said "oh i wasnt bothered about having kids or not" i didnt say anything but remebered clearly how very bothered she had been...who knows but i tell you what you have all of us ncc ladys we do care and we do know how you feel ....hug.. your not over reacting you wouldnt show someone who'd had a mastectamy your boobs would you..and you wouldnt send an E-mail joke about it either they should think first

Mom im so sorry i doubt very much that they are able to do that to you i hope you manage to find work very soon and a fresh job that you will love that will stick it to your old employer... i know its hard but things really do happen for a reson and a new door will open for you very soon....hug

Shantala, U need to start Folic Acid. 5 mcg at least. Well….let me check again at home. Im not sure it is mcg or mg. Im in internet rental now. My nurse told me after BFN, ‘whenever you want to start IVF again just don’t stop my folic acid’ She said it with a very scary face so not once I forget to take it. I don’t take calcium tablet, do you think I need it? Sorry about the email.

Becleo, Happy anniversary to you n DH. Enjoy it. Next year maybe you won’t enjoy it so much cause your baby maybe crying at home while you both celebrate it...

Im alone this weekend. DH just went to country for 'Lebaran' (Moslem holiday) party with his colleague until tomorrow. He asked me to come. I asked him not to go. He said he couldn't since his friends appointed him as the speaker n also it will be a big issue if he cancels it. People at his work will think we don't have religion tolerance since we are not celebrating. But I can't go. I hate being in crowd. The only crowd I want to be is in this forum. I don't know whats wrong with me. I also not exciting about this coming Christmas, knowing that I will meet many relatives and many old friends

Have a wonderful weekend everybody. I know u will have it. Im not lucky this weekend. I just want to pick up DVD series at my friend’s house. It is Gill More something….. She said it was old series but I might love it since Im big fan of TV series. Talk to you soon

big hugs to you. It is hard being in a cropwd at times for me too, I actually have spent time working on my anxiety and what works for me is to be "ok" in the moment, to take a deep breath and to know that this feeling I have will pass. i often have to say to myself "bec, you'll get thru this!" and for me it is working. just a little tip
as for the folic acid I do take it every day too, all women of chilbearing age should, is what I have always heard, just a good thing to help prevent deformities and such.
Jemma, try to be good to yourself, we are alll going thru such amazing things right now and every day is a rollercoaster ride, just try to ride out the moments! Today is saturday morning, I am gearing up for spinning class. nothing too crazy planned for the weekend, need it.
I got another speed bump yesterday, insurance won't cover this IBF cycle yet until they do further testing, I am praying it won't set me back a month! but I am calling the doc on Monday to find out more...
if it isn't one thing or another.

OOO Jemima is it the Gilmore Girls....i love that show what series do you have ive watched it for years its really good i wont spoil the new season for you but i will just say no i wont ...you should enjoy it.

Bec my Ins did that to me too i had to have a hsg done before they would cover me...i hope its not that ..let us know what they say because i have to say i never had Hydro's until after they did the HSG ...if it is that pm me i have some advice for you.

Shantala: So, CarloynB and i have another X-Factor fan to gossip with lol, i too love it and live for Saturday nights - thats all i watch in the house as i switch to ITV2 too also (Whoooorahhhh @ Ben Shepherd he is lush lol) Anyway - did u see Abba night, Oh my Gawd (i say this every week) but i nearly fell off my chair in excitment lol - i actually got up at one point and danced, i love Abba. I was gutted that Ash went (altho my support and votes EVERY week go to Ben) i think that having the McDonalds (or the Mcdoodles lol) still in and ppl like Ash out is just SILLY! I love Bens version of SOS, Leonna is fantastic and her version was brill. Do u know what theme it is next week - i must have missed that in my excitment lol.

Mom20: So sorry to hear about ur job hun - i doont think they can do that to u, and u should fight em all the way - u were sick end of!!!! Just a thought tho, do they know u are going thru IVF treatment, and if so, is this their way of trying to get u out the door b4 u do get a BFP and they wont have to pay u maternity leave??? Just a thought! I would deff take it all the way, they cant do that to u NO WAY!!!

As for my ticker - u see it remains the same as it was last week i didnt go to diet class, it was halloween (no excuse i know) but someone had to be at home to open the door to all the kiddies, and then to eat all the left over sweets LOL. I went for an indian this weekend too had the works, starters, main course and desert - and a bottle of wine - oooo im a pig, but it was ncie lol

Well i better sign off, chicken dinner is cooking (mmmm num num num - i dont know why im bothering to diet, i love my food lol)

hi girls thanks for support im still waiting for reply from employer about appeal. welshgirl Yes they new about my up and coming IVF so you could be right.
It has turned really cold here in Hartlepool to having to were coat all of a sudden. I hate thecold definitaly a sun worshiper. But you cant beat a good film in front of a warm fire in the winter nice and cosy lol

Angie i to had a drink on friday had a friend round. I colud do with a good nite out looking forward to the festive season a good excuse to go out and get drunk ha ha.
Hi to everyone else fire works are going off all over here just getting ready to take DH to work he is a singer he is at Newcastle to nite it an hours drive frm were we live he is singing in a club its good fun.

becleo - thank you for your support. some people really are unbelievable! you did put a smile on my face and it's nice to know i can let steam off here! did you have a nice meal with the in-laws?

aunty - i so know what you mean! the people with the kids are the worst and yet one would think that they should understand more than anybody! like you, i have a friend who had to go through fertility treatment when she was younger (she's in her late 50s now) and she's one of the worst for making comments. the other day an ex-employee called in with her 4 month old baby who is very gorgeous. i felt a bit afterwards and went to this friend who i thought would just give me a little support and what does she say? "They do grow up, ya know, Shantala!!" It knocked me for six! but like bec said i'll come across this more often and will just have to try and find a way to deal with it. have you spoken to your clinic yet? seriously, it's been nearly 2 weeks now!!! also, thanks for the list. it's looking so good and it cheers me up everytime i look at it!

jemima - thanks for the folic acid advice. i'm not sure if we need to take calcium, too or whether that's in with the folic acid...can anyone enlighten us?? also, cheer up about the holidays honey! i'm not particularly looking forward to Xmas and NYE as it's all family stuff and everyone will be drinking (and it's not great to be sober when everyone else is falling all over the place)! we'll get through this. are you feeling any better today?

Becky - another X-factor fan, I'm loving it! Missed it on saturday as i was in london but managed to catch up with most of it yesterday. Ben Shepherd - oh yes, I'm feeling it too! I know what you mean about The Mcdoodle brothers ( ) being in and ash being out! it's really sad as he was one of my favourites. I just love Leonna - she really doesn't know how good she is and that's what makes me like her even more. sorry, am afraid i don't know what next week is though. i'm sure i'll find out in the week though so i'll let you know if i find out. carolynb - do you know? how was your weekend?

Rachel - i hope you are feeling better!? there's so much going around, especially since it's got so cold. although, i can hardly moan to you as i'm sure it's much colder down your end!!

mom - i'm so sorry to hear about your job. they can't do that!!! take them to the employment tribunal for unfair dismissal and get re-instated or get compensation. employers really do make me mad! i'm on a maternity cover contract at the moment covering a lady who was meant to come back in may. the deal was that i would leave if she decided to come back early but she assured me that she wouldnt. i then find out that she's coming back in january so i'm out of a job after that...mind you, i'm a great believer in things happen for a reason so maybe i'm meant to be taking some time out during this time?? chin up though, something will come up! but dont give in to them either! (does that make sense?)

Shantals- hey girl! how goes the battle, I am here for you, and trust me just keep that chin up and tomorrow is a better day! Dinner was so good, it was actually my parents we went out with, my mom is haveing her knee replaced this week so it was good to have her enjoy a night out too!
on the calcium,
I take the chewable caliciums... I had a bone density test done and it showed a slight depletion of calcium in my bones and my doctor advised me to up my calcium because once pregnant the baby take a lot of the calcium you eat/drink. so I started taking them to prevent any further bone loss...
just something to think about! I also can't do dairy though because I am lactose intolerant, so maybe it is just me HEHEHEH!

Good Morning lady's
i wanted to pipe in on the vitamins thing....i wouldnt take anything other than pre natal vitamin and folic acid (unless told to by your Dr) some vitamins collect in the body when we have to much and some can be bad for baby ...you cant take too much folic acid as any you take that your body doesnt need you pee out so i take my baby vit and 1000 of folic acid every day
