Margi- those babies look sooo sweet. I'm sure holding them at the same time makes everything you went through worth it. I can't wait to see more pics, and hopefully they will be going home with you soon.

Ashley- is Athena here yet?? What did your midwife say today? Hope all is well with you.

SD- you're getting sooo close! Not too much longer until you get to meet that little one.

Fun- Nov 11 will be here before you know it. I'm hoping to make it until then so we may end up going around the same time.

Afm- Finally got off the Mag and moved off of Labor & Delivery...yeaaa. They put me back on Procardia every 4 hours in hopes of slowing the contractions. They have spread out a little but of course are still happening every few minutes. Luckily I'm still only 2cm so I'm progressing very slowly. Dr said she thinks ill make it to 32 wks but not sure how long after that. Today is 31wks and day 44 in the hospital. On the plus side, both girls got an 8/8 on their BPP and we got a cute 3D pic of baby A despite her head being at a -1 station already. Just hanging out as long as we can to chunk these little girls up.

Blair-what wonderful news! I just read on my wte app that someone's family friend just delivered twin girls at 30 weeks. My heart sunk and I hopped on here! So glad it wasn't you!!! Keep up the good work!

Margi-what beauties you've got! I spent all day in the NICU as well and was so sad to see some babies alone allllll the time. I know everyone has their own circumstances but it still broke my heart!

Margie- your twins are so adorable!

Blair- fantastic news that your beans are snuggling inside of you for awhile longer (everyday extra day is great!)

Ashley- how are you???? Are you nesting like mad, resting up, or just anxiously awaiting your Athena?

Ryann- Are you getting your working mommy groove? I found that to be quite a challenge with my first (hats off to twin mommies, I really can't imagine how you juggle it all)

bliss- how was your GTT? I hate that test, it makes me so nauseous! You are still at your inlaws, right? How is the remodel going?

tohavefun- Seems like the medical recommendation for induction are always changing so you are wise to ask questions to make sure your voice is heard in the decision making. Keep us posted, glad to hear that you BPs have been under good control.

Lou- so glad you are loving your lil miracle up! how is DH? I was curious since he was coping with quiet a bit when she delivered?

KjM- thanks so much for the well wishes! How are you doing?

Sorry for those I missed, personals have never been a strong suit for me...I read each and everyone of your posts though!!

AFM- no news, lots of practice contractions. baby is fully engaged so I expect (hope at least) that it'll be within the week. My mother arrived and so far after 24 hrs we are surviving each other, time will tell. DH and son both have a cold, what luck? ugh, I really hope the household is well when the time comes. Although my last day was Friday, I was asked to attend a last-last meeting last night....seems like there is always one more last mtg :) so this time they promised me I'm really done!! It feels so liberating to just be home nesting. My DH will likely loose his mind with my to do lists, he'll probably be sent to home depot 200 times this week, LOL!

So sorry ladies for lack of personals. I've been back and forth from the hopsital trying to figure out what's causing this pain I'm in. They are pretty sure it's a mix of contractions and scar tissue. Had an MRI to rule out anything with my ovaries. Needless to say I'm not on bedrest but I am on restricted activity which means stay off my feet as much as possible since it does help. My cervix has started to shorten and it is thinning. I did a lot yesterday and of course started getting contractions. Thought I was going to have to go in last night as I was getting them 5-7 minutes apart for like an hour but they stopped. I'll be going in for weekly checks now :( Hopefully Wednesday there will be no change though so I don't need to go on meds and be put on strict bedrest. I need this little guy to stay in for another 7 weeks :) So far Lucas is doing awesome though and he's quite the active baby. I don't think he sleeps much or he moves in his sleep. But when he's awake my whole belly is rocking back and forth. He's even found my ribs;) Loving every minute of this pregnancy!

Lou-I love the picture of you and Chloe. You guys are just beautiful. How are you doing and adjusting?

Margi- What cutie pies you have. So glad they are doing well and will be going home soon. You must be getting excited to start your life with them at home.

Sdtrying- OMG so exciting anyday now. Glad to hear no fireworks yet between your Mom and you yet. That really is a bummer about the men being sick.

Ashley- Hoping we haven't heard from you because you had the baby. I'm so anxious!! Hope your doing well.

Blair-So happy to hear that the contractions have slowed for you. Keep them babies cooking. Your doing great!

Bliss-Hope everyhting went well with your GT test.

To-Have -fun- Definitely ask lot of questions escpecially since the meds have been working and you've had no issues. It may be just a safety thing for them. The whole induction thing scares me as well.

Mamaboo-So sorry about your son and all that stress. I hope he is feeling better. Fingers crossed everything works out.

Sorry if I missed anyone.

Nwwhiz-How are you doing?

Margi- Girl you are blessed with such cute l ittle babies. ENjoy them every minute. I would be the same way staying with my babies day in day out. but again maybe those other mamas have other priorities. But to e no offense ladies at that delicate stage i think the babies would be mu number one priority. They will be soon home before you know it.
Sweatpea-Thanks on checking on me. Am fine justkeeping a low profile. Nothing much going on. Adjusting to the GD diet which i knew about and am feeling okay. at least i dont have low levels much but it still sucks big time.
Sorry about your pain. take it easy as much as you can so that baby can cook as long as possible. Best of luck dear.

Hi all. Sorry, no personals today; busy with mom. Just wanted to keep you all updated to let you know that I'm still pregnant. Midwife appt on Thursday went okay.. I'm about one to one-and-a-half cm dilated, not that it really means much. I may be stuck in this phase for another week or two. My next appt is scheduled for Monday. They might do a NST or a BPP then, not sure which comes first. They may offer to strip my membranes, but not sure if I am comfortable with that decision at this point. Besides, my cervix is a bit off-centered, so they have a little difficult time checking me. Feeling big and uncomfortable, but trying to keep myself occupied. Maybe I should "run" a marathon tonight to get this baby out. *sigh* It's the worst waiting game ever!
Hope you all are well.

Margi - super cute pics of your little munchkins.

SD - you really may beat me to it.

Kat - so sorry for the pain and contractions. rest up as much as you can.

Blair - glad to hear you're off of mag. hope those contractions space out even more. Glad they're doing well though!

Chris - I was strictly against induction after doing my thorough research and taking classes. However, sometimes it's necessary due to medical reasons. It's all about risks vs. benefits. Hope you're able to figure things out for yourself. Remember to be your own advocate.

Sorry, gotta go.

Hey ladies. Thanks for checking on my GT test. I don't know how it went...because my OB's office only calls if there is an issue. If there is no issue they send a letter, eventually. I was concerned so I called to see if I could get the results and they said they wouldn't release them to me until a Doctor reviewed them and that I should just not worry about it because they would call if there was an issue. The receptionist I talked to was really rude. For me...its the last straw. You may recall I am in a very small rural town and my OB office is the only option in town. So...I am now looking at switching to a midwife/doctor in a town 20 miles away. I wish I had the nerve for a home birth. This would be so much easier!

SD and Ashley- you ladies are getting so close. :D I check in every day just waiting to see that your little ones are here.

Blair- I check in every day to make sure your little ones are NOT here yet. ;-) Keep up the great work. Glad things slowed down a little bit for you. 44 days in the hospital? Yikes! You are in Louisville right? Which hospital?

Margi- LOVE the pics. SO glad they are doing well and plumping up for you.

Kat- Sorry you are not feeling well. That stinks. Hang in there and take it easy.

ashley-- I'm impressed you are coping with going all the way to your due date so well! So many women are crawling out of their skin at this point, good for you for taking things in stride. She'll be here very soon I'm sure. There are some funny things on the internet regarding things to do when you are overdue for your baby arrival try googling overdue, if nothing else it will be good for a laugh! I just wanted you to know that a very close friend went past her due date on both pregnancies and both deliveries were not induced, babes were healthy, and both she had wonderful natural deliveries. I'm sure lil Athena is just waiting for her perfect moment!

bliss- I had a similar experience with my 1st pregnancy with an OB office with really rude staff members. I was trying to get my results because it was just before Thanksgiving and I wanted to make sure I could have 2 pieces of pumpkin pie :) Long story short, office was totally rude and I switched over. I was very happy with my switch. I live in San Diego and we have several options for places to for midwives to deliver in hospitals with OB available as needed and availability of excellent NICU. I love the idea of having the best of a more holistic approach as well as having access to medical intervention if necessary. Do you have any midwives who deliver in hospitals near you?

Hi all. So, it finally happened. I lost my mucus plug around 1am last night while watching Real Time With Bill Maher. 2 hours later, I got up to urinate just to realize that my water was breaking as a gush of fluid trickled down my legs. What a surge of emotions! Anyway, been trying to sleep since then, but the excitement has kept me up. It's going to be a long day ahead! I'm having contractions every 10 mins or so that aren't so intense yet. Wish me luck that I accomplish this naturally. Going to try resting again for a bit. ...and the clock starts ticking.

Yay Ashley! Its finally time. Sending you mental pain relief vibes for a natural delivery. :D You are in good company. My SIL is in labor this morning in LA and she was two weeks overdue (of course they began inducing last night so its a bit different). Can't wait to hear the details and see pics...but take care of yourself and you little girl first.
