Awesome ticker, Nickster. Oh, yeah, great news about the ultrasound, too! Will you get to give yourself scans anytime you feel like it at work? How fun would that be!?! How are you feeling? Morning sickness didn't hit me until more like week 9 or 10 but I thought maybe with twins you'd feel it earlier?

We had a great Christmas (aside from the horrid, horrid flu that we all caught and are still struggling with...it's a *****!) although I hear you, Angie, on the many toys. I had to go buy a new shelving unit yesterday for my living room because it looked like I was running a darned toy shop here. At least now I can jam it all in drawers at the end of the night. I will try to get some pictures posted in the near future--Santa brought me a new camera and I'm still trying to figure out all the kinks.

Angie...glad you made it back safely. And that traveling wasn't too bad on the baby. Kids are great adaptors, aren't they? We were gone from home for over 2 weeks during the holidays and it didn't seem to bother Lucy at all. Of course, she was getting spoiled rotten at every stop, so that helped!

Well, off to bed. I just finished watching Nip/Tuck. Anyone else?

Yeah Meg, I could pretty much do a scan anytime I want to. The only problem now is that the babies are obviously small and I can't say I'm the most skilled at it! DH's mom's b-day is the 29th and we planned to tell everyone then but I want to get another scan before we do. But, the other benefit to being on an OB floor is if I can't see what I want, we always have an OB on staff who can come do it for me.
I am actually having a little nausea from time to time. What has really been getting me though is heartburn...OMG it's been bad. I eat Tums like crazy and it's still getting worse so they told me to start taking Pepcid. Other than that, not too much diffrent....yet!
I remember you saying you guys had the flu, that sucks. And what terrible timing! Is everyone feeling better finally?

Tina~ Thanks again for the ticker help! I don't think I ever would have gotten it. I am horrible with computers anyway but I even had my dh try to get it and he couldn't figure it out either!

meg I hear you - we need storage units in Amelie's room big time. All her toys, books are piled up in the corner. What a mess - so much stuff, we'll never be able to find anything. But so many cute things. I have finally finished unpacking it all.

Now for my things - I did manage a London shopping trip for me too which was fun - left little Ams with mum and dad and went on a SPREE! lots of fun - I will be well dressed come the Melbourne winter ( that is as long as I can find it all again as I'll have to store it for a few months and we don't have any space in our room either !)

Nickster - hope the nausea isn't too bad but it's all a good sign as you know.

Oh it's good to be back on the boards. Hi everyone else. Better get on with my unpacking - I am so jet lagged still - today me and little Ams slept for 3 hours at lunch time - bliss - could have slept longer if she hadn't have woken me up.........

Brilliant news - one of each. how lovely Jenn.

Nickster - I will post some piccies soon - have to sort out all my photos! Hope you are well and the twinnie beanies are doing fine.

We are sweltering here - 37 degrees and trapped in the house as too hot outside. I have packed all the new born baby clothes and my pregnancy clothes into vacuum pack for storage - I wonder if I will need them again one day.......? I hope so....

Amelie is doing great - now we are back from the trip I want to cut out the middle of the night feed - I think she is ready as she is a good little sleeper usually. She went through a couple of times but last night I gave in and fed her - I'm still breast feeding so it's just too convenient to feed her back to sleep - but won't be able to rely on that technique for ever...any tips Meggo ? I think you went through this recently?

better go and venture outside to get the washing in - it will be baked to a crisp in this heat!

Jenn--That's awesome. Congrats.

Angie--The middle of the night feeding just seemed to stop on it's own. In fact, the whole breastfeeding thing just stopped on it's own. It seemed like I would just decide that she didn't need that feeding anymore and she would go along with it. The middle of the night one was probably the hardest, though. I would still get up and rock her, just without the booby! She's funny now, whenever she sees me naked she looks at my boobs like, hmmm, I think I used to do something with those but I can't quite remember what....

She's a riot. She is super bossy...you have to play with her on her terms. She tells you where to sit, what to pick up, everything. Typical older child, so I think that means we're destined to have more!!!!! (She definitely needs younger siblings to boss around! )

Well, hope all is well with everyone else!

Nickster - how are you doing?? Need an update!

Noah is going on his first road trip this weekend - to Houston! It is only about 3 hours, so should be easy. We are spending the weekend with my college roommate and her husband and baby!

Hope everyone is doing well!!!

Hey girls!

Tina~ have fun in H-town! We live just north of Houston. No we haven't picked out any names yet. We can't even find one we kind of like. It is very discouraging!

Nickster~ how are you doing? Feeling sick? I hope not, it is not fun! Yes, dh was very happy about the boy. He wouldn't admit it before we found out, but I knew he secretly wanted a boy. Although he LOVES his little girl don't get me wrong! They are 2 peas in a pod.

Angie~ We could use some of your warm here! It is chilly. But I can't complain, it could be worse and I'm sure by next week it will be hot again.

Meg~ I am going to look at your holiday pics right now. I need to add some of ours to the sight.

Gotta run, I got wet hair and I am going to atttempt to look presentable when Dh gets home :) I figure once number 2 gets here showers will be few and far between!
