Aunty....OMG sweetie I am so happy for you!!!!! You are doing great, keep up the great work!!!!!!!

SS, I'm getting snow here too between today and Friday. GRRRRR I have enough! Hoping your EC is soon!

Shantala good luck today sweetie!

Faithful WELCOME. I hope that your TWW is a speedy one. Best of luck to you and your DH.

Ok ladies I am hoping that I my be able to help you all with your headaches. As some of you know I was going to PT for cronic migraines; the therapist taught me so much, and now when I get one this helps dramaticaly. (you can do this or your sweet DH's can) take your finger tips and press them into the base of your skull and pull up, hold for 5 seconds and repeat a few times. Then pinch your collarbones and hold fr 5 sec and repeat a few times. This should work. If not, then you need a second person for this part..... Lay on your backs and have someone slowly pull across you skin at the front of the collarbone, up your neck and then sown your shoulders. I know that meds are an issue with IVF so I hope that this helps all of you; just remember to try and relax as much as possible.

Hi to all the ladies,

Sophie: About your inquiry, no I didn't get any side effects from the trigger shot, it was easy, but after an hour I felt my tummy sore if I bend it hurts a bit or if I touch the area where I did it, other then that nothing.
I know isn't it unbelivable about the u/s, I got used to the nurses who does the u/s, they know me well know.
They didn't give me any pills to relax, but I think I will be able to manage and try not to think about it that much.
Pray for me ladies......
Good luck to you Charlie on your ER tomorrow....

Rachel, aren't migraines a *****! LOL The meds i usually take (Excederine Migraine) stopped working around the time we started IVF, so that's why I started with the PT. I have found that the "massages" help a great deal, however I will say that I have been waking up with them lately and when I can't stop them I go to the ER straight away. They are just too bad for me to handle.
Thanks for asking about me; as for us dh changed jobs and unfortunatly the insurance sucks. So, I am looking into what it covers but we can't get the insurance for 3 months. DH promised me that we will have a baby of our own within 3 years; but I am not giving the hope that it will be this year! Where there's a will, there's a way!

Just a quick one from me as MIL is coming around tonight  grrrr! I'm cross with her because she told someone we both know about our IVF and then I got a text saying 'I didn't know you were going through IVF! How's it all going?' We haven't told many people it's just harder to tell people if it doesn't work!
Any way moan over....

Aunty - that is great news! See it was just your ovaries on over time! Grow follies Grow!

Amy - welcome to the thread! Good luck with test on 2nd Feb - wishing you a BFP!!

Nouna - you too sweetie -are you as scared as me?

Sophie - my trigger didn't hurt either and no side effects! Good luck with next scan - hope you get the go ahead!

You know after my go ahead to trigger yesterday, you were the first people I wanted to tell (obviously after DH!) It is so great to have you guys, cos you all understand! LOL!
Well I am getting excited / nervous now! Oh and aren't the progesterone pessaries delightful! It will all be worth it soon!
Will try and post tomorrow evening to let you know how many eggies I got!

Love to all

charlie and nouna: It is normal to be nervous b/c of the "unknown". I, personally am excited for you guys and looking forward to hearing about all the great eggs you guys get tomorrow. Just take deep breaths... and enjoy all the meds!!!! Will be thinking about you two tomorrow. oh, and Charlie... so sorry abt the whole MIL thing. awful nasty for her to blab, esp if she knew you weren't telling people.

saxony: welcome to the thread! You have lots of company here. Just thought i would give you a little reassurance re: your E2 levels. There are women who do hyperstim (i think it is much higher in PCO), so if you are concerned, i think you should d/w RE. My E2 on day of last trigger was about 8,000. I was VERY worried, as this was much higher than previous cycles, but RE told me i was at very low risk for OHSS as the vast majority of my follicles were large. I had 16 eggs retrieved and i had no OHSS. i am hoping that this helps you a little, and that you, like me, have no problems with hyperstim (hopefully that high E2 level just means lots of healthy eggs in there!!!). Good luck!

Christine: sorry to hear you won't be cycling for at least 3 months (or did i misinterpret that?). So glad you are sticking around!

Everything here is going great, I got a call from a City Job that I completely thought I was not going to be offered! I have to take the test next week and I so excited… life keeps getting better and better!!! But the great news through out all of this is that even if I do not get the City Job, the job that I start on the 12th is everything that I want in a job too, I cannot go wrong!!!
