Wow! Lots of things happening on the board... Congrats Aunty -things are looking good!! Sounds like others are stimming well, lots of good ER results and others of us surviving the 2WW!!

Thanks all for the quips, comments, support, etc on the board - it's a friendly place to be during such uncertain and anxious times...

My update - on day 4 of bedrest and off as of later today - will probably go see a movie just to get out of the house, and I have a nice walk planned with the girls here (I live o a mountain here in Park City, UT, USA) tomorrow a.m. to celebrate my coming off bedrest. I'm usually the instigator in our twice weekly runs & snowshoeing adventures, but for obvious reasons, have had to give up the reins for the last few weeks.

We did a short protocol this round (#3, for us) b/c last time, I prematurely ovulated b/t trigger and ER, so we lost 10 of the 14 which were ready to go, and a BFN on the remainder. This round, same thing with no explanation... Had 7-8 ready to go on the short cycle (i.e., no suppression phase - straight to stimming on day 3 of regular cycle), and at ER, had only 4 retrieved.... hmmm - what a mystery. Of the 4, 3 fert'd, necessitating a 3 day transfer although the embies looked pretty good - better than the last 2 cycles - so we're keeping our fingers crossed.... It only takes one, right?!!

I have a question, though: on 2dp3dt I had bloody discharge mid morning (lots of CM - sorry @ TMI), and some light spotting later that day. Nothing since. I assumed it was residual bleeding from ER since I had a lot of it the day of ER and the next morning, but since it stopped on the day past ER, I am wondering what's up.... Any thoughts? Seems rather early for implant. spotting - but, this did not happen in either of my other two cycles.

Good luck to all in stimming, ER's and ET's.... Use the 2WW well!!

Shantala: wooo hooo! been anxiously awaiting your fab news today! Congrats my dear. Right back into the thick of things!

emp: sorry to hear they keep "losing" your eggs! What is that abt? btw, you live in a beautiful place! went to college not far from there and been skiing there a ton and mountain biking in the summer... was up at deer valley a few wks ago. I concur w/aunty... your spotting looks suspiciously like implantation bleeding....

cook: congrats on the whole job thing... looks like you win either way.

Aunty- I am glad everything went well today. I prayed that you would not have any cysts and I am so happy that there were not any! You go girl!

As for the conversation with you and empmtb, is there always bleeding if the egg is implanting? I too am at 2dp3dt and I have not really expirenced anything. Occasional cramps but no bleeding. I also had no bleeding after the ER either. I am just wondering as you know this 2ww you tend to analyze everything. Just wanted some clarification.

Empmtb, We are on the same cycle and will be testing the same day. So I guess we can go a little nuts together! Wishing you the best!

Hi Guys, Sorry I've been gone again for awhile. A question.... How long should your AF be screwed up after a cycle. This is my second month after my BFN, and my AF is still really messed up. Last month it lasted about 2 weeks. This month, It's been two weeks and still going. It's really weird. I start bleeding, then stop for a couple days, then bleed again for a day, and stop for a couple days. It has been going on like this for two weeks. UGH! I had very normal 3-4 day periods. What's up? Is this normal? I was supposed to start the beginning of Feb IVF, and they have bumped me to March. Hoping I lose a few more pounds so they can get to my ovary. If you remember, last time they couldn't get to it and I lost a ton of eggs from it. They are hoping that by losing some weight it will help lower it underneath the blood vessels so they can access it. But.... I'm afraid my monthly cycle is going to screw things up. I think I'll never stop bleeding. HELLLLP! I have to admit, I'm getting concerned that there might be something wrong. I am paranoid about all the stim drugs, etc... ovarian cancer...... This will be my 5th IVF cycle. I hyper stimmed on two of them. The first two about 14 years ago. Thanks for any help, encouragement, advise.... Janice

SHANTALA! :D :D :D

OH, what a shame! I missed your post! And I checked all day long for it! Boohoohooooo! But gosh you posted when I was with a client! And now you're probably in bed! Awww! :(

Sweetie, I'm so happy and so excited for you! It's exciting, isn't it, to start your cycle at long last? My heart made a BIG LEAP for you when I read the news! Is your DH exited too? Or is he like mine and all this will become a little less abstract when you get your BFP? ;)

Oh, sweet darling, I'm jumping all over the place in my office right now! Though, from what you wrote it looks like you were more excited to tell Aunty than the humble rest of us (LOL  but I'm just teasing you hunny!), aaaaanyway, I'm still excited for you! It will be wonderful to share this cycle with you!

Take care Shantala, and I really hope your night will be better this time... and about your sweetheart, I hope his apt tomorrow gives him a quick course of action and, oh please, some pain meds that work!

oooo! Shantala that is great news for you - so pleased - I started the sniffy stuff today - not too bad - makes me feel a bit foggy but that's not so different to how I usually feel in the morning! We will be very much in sync - my scan is 14th Feb so hopefully stimming after that for 2+ weeks and all the action in early March too.

Aunty - great news about your follies - so happy for you too.

Hi to everyone else.

Must try and do some work now.

you deservi it girl good luck

Aunty im so pleased for you not long now good luck

Bigwhitehappydog - I think this is very common for AF to be this way afer BFN my AF is just starting to get back to normal now after my BFN back in Dec 05 i to felt the same only AF never showed for 4mth after i really thought that they made a mistake and i really was BFP but unfortunatly no the doc just said it would take a while for my body to get back to normal. So try not to worry to much as i dont think that there is anything wrong. Its just your body trying to put itself right after all the drugs and what its been through. Hugs to you hope your feeling ok

Fed AND Empmtb - i worried about every little twinge cramp pain on my 2ww i was a bag of nerves thought i was going to go mad your both not alone. I just tried to take my mind of it allthough very hard i know hugs to you both praying for your BFP it does only take one !

Cook- congrats on your job

Bec hows your bump coming along how are you ?

TC - Hope you enjoyed your trip , sorry about delay hugs to you

druiett - good luck with scan i hope all is well

Silva good luck for tommorow im keeping everything crossed

Charlie and nouna - good luck for tommorow

and - how did EC go ?

cinny good luck for tommorow

hi to anyone ive missed lots of baby dust to you

Well ladies i have to say yesterday had to be one of the hardest ive had for a while. We took my dog and had her put to sleep. Its funny but it seemed like some how she new we were suppose to take her tea time but she just seemed to give up on the morning. She wouldnt come to me or my mam just sat in the corner behind the chair. Panting really heavy and crying. It was horrible seeing her this way. We took her to the vets there and then. Its about half an hours drive to the vets she couldnt even climb into the car we had to lift her in. She just layed there all the way wouldnt even look up at me normally she is sat up looking out the window.
I stayed with her when they put her to sleep giving her a stroke even the vet was upset. He said this was the first one and he had been treating her since the beging. It was very quick and she was wagging her tail right till the end. She will be cremated and her ashes will be scatered in a garden of peace for animals. I dont think ill ever get the look on her face out of my head when she went sleep and im writing this with tears falling down my face but somehow i still feel silly. :( :( :( :( :(

thankyou for your support
