Thanks Sassy! That really helped. I have begun the deep breating. Leaving work now to go to accu. I'm praying that calms me down some. Everytime my phone rings I'm cringing thinking it's the RE telling me the embreyos didn't make it. I know! I know! I'm a nut case. Okay, leaving now.

Wannababy--You know we're here for you! I'll be thinking about you all day. I know you're tough---you can do this! Let us know as soon as you're home safely (wow, just sounded like my mom!) You are ready for this---you even got your hair fixed (can't be any more ready!!!!)

Oh Wanna!!!, I am sorry I read this a bit late I guess, you must be on your way to ET already. I hope acu was able to calm you down a bit. As Sassy said, try to concentrate on TODAY, don't think about tomorrow, if possible, soon you will be home with your embryos and your DH will also be home soon, so everything will be ok. Hang in there. Let us know how it went!!...WISH YOU THE BEST!!!!

Morning/evening wanna - hope it all went well. Sorry you felt stressed - ET is a big event and it's totally understandable. Hope acu helped.

I went to acu last night and had the cupping again - basically glass cups which I thinks she puts a flame in and then on my back and it sucks outs all the air and really pinches. In fact the whole session was a bit painful although I felt great afterwards and slept well. However my back is now covered in red circles which may turn to bruises will look great tomorrow with my summer dress at the wedding we are going to!

Anyway enough about me, Waanna, hope the ET went well. Hope to read your post soon - and Fee you are going great. Not long til test date and well done on holding out so long re the HPT - keep hanging in there.

Angie: cupping, huh? sounds very exotic. Heard of it, but never had it done. oooo, bet we could come up with some good explanations if anyone asks you what those marks on your back are.... heeheehee. How are your follie checks going??? I am hoping they are not running you too ragged there... Have fun at the wedding!

Sassy - cupping is very Hollywood dahling! Gwyneth has it and was pictured with red marks on her back once at a premier - why one would wear a backless dress when one had big red marks on one's back I don't know! It's not like she doesn't have enough dresses to choose from!

So I am feeling in very grand company with my cupping! It's probably all a crock of Sh*t but anyway - we will see if it makes a difference!

Wanna, I still can't get my head around the time difference so by now (morning in Oz) you may have already had your ET??? Sorry I wasn't able to help in your time of crisis. Hopefully by now you are feeling better maybe sitting in some sort of chair that has a mechanism to make it lie down and pop out a foot stool and watching some excellent day time TV (yeah Sass!). Your anxiety is totally understandable, it can hit at any time, especially wondering "what if" all the time. It sucks, I felt like that on the weekend. Still you seem like a strong and positive person and I'm sure it will pass with the help of a few sugary treats. Let us know how you went, I am anxious to hear your news!

Sass really liked your joke. I was rolling. I'll have to be careful not to make too much effort for my Drs they might think I'm cracking on to them or something....

Ang, I saw the Gwyneth pics, Cupping is terribly glamourous, but I think you may have to re-think the summer dress if those red spots haven't gone down...or not, if it's OK for Gwyneth then it's OK for you...

Well I took my last HCG shot last night, so now I have a about four and a half more days of agony. I'm becoming quite the seasoned pro, managed to get most of the bubbles out of the syringe without wasting too much of the liquid. Injection didn't hurt too much either.

I think I will do an HPT on Sunday....

Man I have missed you girls. I feel like I have been "lingering" around the forum for the last week, with little time to actually support my girls!

WANNA - How did it all go? How were the embies? How many did you have put back? I sincerely hope you are resting - watching lost or American Idol, and eating some sort of ice cream treat. Would you like me to send you a few of my cupcakes? I have almost singlehandedly eaten all 24 since Monday night. A vision of health...

FIONA - Step away from the HPT. I repeat - drop it. Those things are seriously evil and cause unnecessary melt downs. Besides, if you just injected with HCG, I don't think it will be accurate. You want me to send you a cupcake or two also? But more importantly, don't you feel like a trained medical professional while you are flicking your needles and watching carefully as you massage the needle in? I always think I should have done better in Organic Chemistry.... Let's focus our thoughts on babies and warm bellies - thats right, say it with me "babies and warm bellies... babies and warm bellies" Then bust out the tune "These are a few of my favorite things..." and dance on the beach. I am thinking you can't go wrong and it will totally take your mind off of the HPT. They are the work of the devil.

SASS - Glad to hear that your ER life will be calming down. What a horribly stressful week. I am glad to hear that your niece is better. That sounded awful and when they are so little like that it is even more alarming. Have they sent her home? Are you gearing up on your super cycle? You need a ticker...

VICKY - Loved the rant. Tell your OB Beotch that she can stick that cold speculum where the sun doesn't shine. That is BS. Sounds to me like a jealousy issue. I say 'punt' her.

ANGIE - Do tell more about this cupping... what is the expected outcome? Is it just a stress reliever or are there ties to fertility goodness that I should know about. I will google it and see if my husband can't do a budget version of it here at home! I am with Fee, if Gwyneth can wear it out, than so can you. Be proud of your cup marks! Wear polka dots to accessorize them.

MEG "O" - Nine weeks is great. You are so close to the end of the awful first trimester. I am telling you there is nothing better than the second trimester. You are a little less paranoid and you feel a whole lot better! You keep that ticker tocking as it is not offensive at all. This brings me to my next round of business...

I think we all need some tickers ... what do you say? Lets count down to something. Anything... just to spice things up a bit. I am going to research it and see if I am capable of getting one to attach. Whose with me? <insert sounds of crickets chirping here> I said "WHO IS WITH ME??"

Hi Ladies,

I’m here! DH took laptop with him to work today so I had to wait until he got home to get on the computer. Didn’t feel like sitting up in the chair in the office. We hardly use that computer anyway. It’s entirely too slow. At this point I think it’s just for show, considering…it’s in the office. lol

Amy—Glad to hear that little J is feeling better. How are you doing?

Vicky—Your “so-called” friend who is giving her opinion behind your back is a real piece of work. How dare she? What the heck does she know about your situation? I hate when people say you should wait longer before pursuing IVF. How long are you suppose to wait? When you are old and gray and your eggs are all dried out? WTF? Everyone is different and she needs to keep her opinion to herself. As my dad would say everyone has an opinion just like everyone has an “a$$hole” but that doesn’t mean we need to hear it. Opinions and “a$$hole” (farting). lol

Sassy—Glad to hear niece and DH are doing so much better. Thank God! I know you were worried there for a minute. HA…that story was too funny. I had the nerve to sit here and think what I had at home to resemble sparkles. lol Oh well, hopefully the quick wipe up with the “Always” wipes was good enough.

Meg—Yeah, our DH’s sounds a lot alike. Mine was singing after every contestant on American Idol. Talking about he can sing better than every one. It was getting really annoying after a while. lol I think I got a headache from rolling my eyes so much. Lol Breakfast for dinner is the greatest. Hmmm, IHOP sounds good right now. lol

Fi—I think I’m going to go see my friend that just had the baby either Friday or Sunday. I need to go see them before I get my BF (whatever). Because if it’s a negative, I might not be able to hold back the ugly cry while holding her newborn. So I’d rather go now while my ET is still fresh and I am still ignorant of my destiny. lol I'm confused. How is it that you do an HCG shot while you're in the 2ww? Dont you usually do that before ER? I know every protocol is different though.`

Angie—You are burning both ends of the candle. Tell them to stop working you so hard. We miss you in here. It’s not fair. Good Luck with the house. That’s great that you have so many things to keep you distracted. I need some.

Thank you Ladies for all the Good Wishes and Positive Thoughts. It really really helped. More than you can ever imagine. The ET wasn’t as bad as I thought, by myself. DH text messaged me the entire time. I also brought our wedding picture with me. So he was there in spirit.

Went to Accu first which really calmed me down. Then on to the transfer. All the doctors and nurses were great. I think I got special attention because I was by myself. lol I even had my US weekly to keep me distracted.

We had 3 blasocyts, all grade D (which I didn’t know was the highest). I thought A was the highest all this time. We transferred 2 back. The other I was going to freeze but changed my mind at the last minute. It was too expensive.

One of the nurses was trying to get me to transfer all three. RE, DH and I all agreed to just transfer 2. I wouldn’t mind twins but triplets….OUCH! So now, I guess I just sit and wait. This is the killer ladies. I’m going to need all the support in the world. I need to be strong and stay away from the evil HPT. Have to go in next Thursday or Friday for me beta test. Haven’t made the appointment yet.

I have already made a schedule to keep me distracted for the next week (after work). lol

Tomorrow---sleep a lot and watch daytime TV and of course come in here and chat.
Friday—Going to visit friend and her newborn.
Saturday—Hanging out with the sister in law (she’s having a spa party).
Sunday—Church, massage and then hanging out with friends.
Monday—Movies and/or dinner.
Tuesday—Bible study
Wednesday—Movies or Dinner or shooting pool or something.
Thursday—probably beta test. Probably won’t be able to hold on until Friday. lol

P.S. DH has been rubbing tummy and talking to the twins all night. lol

P.SS. Anyone catch American Idol tonight? Any favorites yet?

Amy--I missed your post while writing mine. I couldn't stop laughing. I was even reading it to DH as he was ironing his clothes. You are a riot. BTW...he wants to know if there are enough cupcakes for him. lol

I realized I need to change my ticker but I'm afraid to. I dont want to know how many days I have until Beta. Maybe I will do a ticker for....next hair cut or something. lol Something totally unrelated to baby. Ohhh, what about a countdown to the American Idol finale? lol BTW...I did catch it tonight. I have so many favorite for the girls. The guys are just ok this year.

WANNA - Sounds like the day went great. And I am sure you looked beautiful. Did the girls at the clinic comment on how nice you looked?? They better have! Definitely tell DH there are cupcakes for him. Please save me from myself. I have had 4 just in the last two hours. I feel disgusting. Unfortunately I am a west coaster and haven't seen Idol yet. You have made me very intrigued. Give me some juicy song choice or contestant tidbit so I can tell my husband that I am having premonitions. I will bet him five bucks on something.... hurry thought it is on here in 25 minutes.

I am LOVING your schedule too. It sounds perfect. I think you will be nice and fertile for the rest of the wait.

Now, as you can see by the fact that I am responding so quickly, I can't figure out those tricky tickers.... how do you do it??
