Hi all,

Sorry I have not posted for ages. I get online & read posts all the time. I had my 20 week scan the other day & everything looked good. We also found out we are having a baby girl!!!!! That is girl number two for us. We are very excited & happy. It is great to have some good news at the moment. Just hours away are the bushfires which have caused pure devestation. They are expecting the death toll to be around the 300 mark. We can see and smell the smoke from home. It really makes us feel so grateful for what we have.

Hope everyone is doing well
Take care

Hi everyone! Its been quiet here so I thought I would say hi and see how everyone is doing. Is anyone feeling movement yet? Bridget is doing great. Some days better than others but her acid reflux can really bother her at times. I think when she starts feeling movement more regularly she will feel better and we will both be more confident. The waiting in between ultrasound has still been so hard! She has been great about taking it easy. I know it sounds like I'm being doom and I'm not its just hard sometimes because as it gets closer we are getting more attached to these babies which can make it even harder to think positively. I think the 2nd trimester can be difficult also because the symptoms are less than the first you know? How is everyone feeling? Anyone showing yet? We were about to go to bed last night and she thought she felt a little tap. Reassuring yes but maybe we should rent one of those dopplers! I keep telling her at this point we would most likely have a sign is anything was wrong. Its probably just being scared from last time right? Hope all is well! Can't wait to hear the latest on everyone. Talk soon

Hi all!
I haven't been posting for a while, and it's been quiet here.Is everybody sick of this long winter? Can't wait for warm weather!

Well,it's been almost 3 weeks since we lost our little one and I was just crazy worried every day,but now little be little ,we start feeling better,we see our little one every week on u/s and she is going really good-growing fast and very active. We found out it's a girl(well,90%) and I even afraid to say it out loud ,because this is our dream, but at that point we didn't care,my doctor had to talk me to let us know a week ago to cheer me up  ! Now I start feeling her move-very gentle pock once in a while or just tickle under the skin. This makes waiting between appt. easier,at least we know she is alive!

Next Monday we are having BIG u/s-anatomy scan, they want to do it a week earlier(we don't mind!).I can't believe we made it that far,we pray every morning and night for her to stay with us.

How is everyone else?

Marina- I am so happy your little one is doing well. You have been through so much. I think about you often and hope the rest of the pregnancy will be uneventful!

I passed my first glucose screening! yay, I still have to go have another 1 hr screening at 28 weeks. I hope my levels stay stay good. I had my level II u/s and the baby looks great. I got confirmation today that the baby is a boy! My doc went over everything and told me there were no markers for downs. I am so happy but I know it doesn't not mean the baby doesn't have it for sure. It just lessens the risk. So I do not think I will go through with the amnio but I still have a few days to make a final decision.

How is everyone else doing?

Hi Missmolly, it's good to hear from you! Congrats on another baby girl and glad your 20-week u/s went well. Those bushfires sound frightening. It really does make us appreciate our blessings when things like that happen.

Hi Kristin, I'm not feeling any movement yet but I can't wait until it finally happens. I'm glad Bridget and you are doing well. Is she taking anything for that acid reflux? I hate taking meds while pregnant but have really needed the Tums quite a bit. The doc says it's fine so I don't feel too bad. Is Bridget showing yet or needing maternity clothes? I squeezed into another pair of pants today but don't how much longer I can hold out.

Marina, yes I'm definitely sick of winter and ready for some warmer temps. I'm guessing you've had it a bit colder there though so I imagine you are definitely ready. Congrats on your healthy baby girl! I know you can't wait to see her again next week at the big scan. I love every chance I get to take a peek at our baby girl. Still saying a prayer for you although it sounds like she's doing just great.

Lyly, that's great news about the glucose screening and level II u/s! It sounds like you made a decision not to have the amnio and like you really don't need to upon hearing your results. Of course like you said, you still have time if you change your mind. Either way, I know you must be relieved.

Hope everyone else is doing well. I'm looking forward to my next OB appt a week from Friday. It will be another chance to hear her h/b which is like music to my ears. :D

Hi girls, I hope everybody doing fine,it's been a little quiet.I think now everybody close or got their "big "20 week scans.I got a pretty good news today,we had a BIG u/s also(they did it a week earlier)-the baby is still a girl (like 99.9% ) and everything looks very good.Got a lots of good pictures. They have only concern with a cord-for some reason it comes from membranes, not from the placenta and a little longer. The doctor said it only really matters at the time of delivery(which they want to do a c-section anyway) and in some cases the baby might grow a little slower, but so far everything looks right on schedule .They are going to monitor me closely to watch this cord thing,so I'm still on my weekly appoitments.I definetly start feeling baby move every day,not much, like 3-4 times, but I can tell for sure it's her and not my imagination .And yeah,it still hard to believe we are having a girl, not that i'd be very upset if it turned into a boy from last u/s,I'm very happy and my DH just trilled, but at this point I don't really care-it's alive and doing good and we hope and pray for the happy ending every day.
I hope all of you doing good .

Hello Ladies,
It has been a while since I have posted. I however see everyone is doing well and getting to to the exciting time of movement. I have been feeling the girls flutter for about 1 week now. baby C is going to be a gymnist according to Yesterdays U/S She does not stay still. We go for our 20 week Scan on 3/5, so so excited. My Peri has me come in every 2 weeks for a normal U/S whcih is great since I love seeing them grow. baby A is 7oz and B and C were both measuring 8oz yesterday.

DH and I went shopping for all their furniture and registered for my baby shower. It is all so real now. I still cannot believe we are having 3 girls.

I cannot wait to hear everyones reports on their 20 week scan. It is truly a mildstone.

Have a wonderful week ladies and I shall be checking in again soon.

Hi everyone!

Congratulations on everyone finding out what they're having!! We find out on March 20th. I'll be 21 1/2 weeks at that point and the suspense is killing me!

Wonder if I could ask some advice... I was really sick the first 4 months. Nauseous constantly, round ligament pain, the whole works. Now - I feel fine. And it's almost odd because I don't feel pregnant. I'm barely showing at 18 weeks (a friend of mine is 17 weeks and just popped out - I"m actually really jealous) and I only feel the baby move a few times a week, here and there (if it really is the baby moving - I'm still not sure if it's gas or the baby or anything else that's going on in there!). I thought that when I felt normal, I would be happy and enjoy it - but I'm almost more nervous because I start worrying about fetal death or something being wrong or that I'm not progressing like I should be.

I know it's irrational.. but I just want this baby so much. Are any of you going through something similar? I had my guard up and tried not to be too excited the first few months so that if something happened, it might not hurt as bad - but now I'm starting to get excited and think that it's really possible that I might deliver this little baby and I get scared all over again.

Sorry to be a big emotional train wreck - but hopefully you can all understand!

All my best,
Suzanne

Suzanne, you are not only one who goes crazy :D .I'm 19 weeks and I thought by now I'd feel baby move pretty often(I felt my first child since 16 weeks regulary),but it's different this time.I can say that I feel movement 3-4 times a day, mostly in the evening and nothing all day, which makes me nervous, even we see her every week on u/s and I see her moving, but can't feel it!
As for the symptoms-believe it or not ,we are supposed to feel better now in the second trimester  .And if this is your first child you start showing later-around 20 weeks(I did with my first)

Hi Marina,
Thanks so much for your message - made my day. Ironically, the day after I posted something seemed to happen and I just popped out. There's no denying that I'm pregnant now! I think I just need to let my guard down a little bit and be excited and enjoy feeling good. I've let myself worry way too much and I don't want to look back (if this is my only pregnancy) and think that I spent too much time being stressed or freaked out.

Doddo- Congratulations!!! Beautiful name! Where in Ohio are you from?
