heeks & chris/miner-How's it going for you? I am trying to stay positive and not read into everything but it is so hard not to think about it 24/7. I have been so run down, tired, and blah this week. Are you going to POAS? I go back and forth on it-I think it would help me so I don't have a total meltdown at the RE office but I'm such an emotional person that I probably would anyhow
I'll see if I can hold out at least until Sunday (beta is Monday). Wouldn't it be nice to have an immediate sign-maybe one of the little red things that pop out when a turkey is fully cooked?

Hi Franca - I'm sure lots of the ladies would recommend acupuncture (I haven't done it yet, but everyone seems to recommend it). Plus, it's supposed to help with fertility (assuming you go to someone who specializes in that). Otherwise, I would just go to a regular doctor and tell them about your symptoms. It could really be the flu! Also, try concentrating on your breathing. Deep breaths...slowly...

AFM - My AF arrived lastnight but it is much lighter then normal. Could this be from the Lupron? I have my SnS tomorrow and afterwards they will teach me how to administer my stim drugs. I will post tomorrow and let you know how everything went. Love and warm wishes to everyone ~TERESA

Claudia: I totally forgot that Han Solo was frozen in one of the movies. I haven't seen the original Star Wars films since I was a kid---which was a long, LONG time ago!! I was just trying to think of more characters, since Darth and Luke were already taken!! Too funny!! How are you feeling, my PUPO friend? I hope you get some pampering in this weekend!
Angela: I am so sorry to hear about loss last year--I can't imagine how difficult that must have been for you and your DH. I'm so impressed that you're moving forward and trying again---you have such strength and fortitude!

I also found it hard to "take it easy" after my last transfer because of my DS. He's only 15 months, so I inevitably had to pick him up. But...everyone on the last thread (when I cycled in Jan) assured me that women who get pregnant naturally lift their kids all the time. There's definitely some comfort in that!

So glad that you have your meds (and cable )! When does you cycle begin again? Oh, and I have NO idea what those 22 1.5 gauge syringes are for. They sound scary!! 
hopeforbabies: Thanks for your advice on the cloudy Estrogen shot (and for sending along thick-lining vibes!). I actually called the pharmacy again this morning and told them I didn't want to take any chances. I'm picking up a new bottle this afternoon. Hmmmm.....I thinking I'm overly paranoid.

Franca - Thinking about IVF and being in a cycle can be stressful. Can you and DH take some time off for a relaxing weekend or find something to do to relieve some of the stress. I have done acupuncture and like that a lot. I think it helped a lot with the stress of my last 2 cycles. Kind of bummed because I am not doing it this cycle.
This is what is wacky about my protocol.
I started lupron March 5th with 10u
Stop BCPs March 9th and drop lupron to 5u.
Stop lupron on March 12th and then start ganirelix on March 13th. For those that have not used ganirelix, it does the same thing as lupron just in a different ways. I have never used ganirelix and lupron in the same cycle before nor have I heard of anyone else doing this. Usually ganirelix is reserved for the an antagonist cycle which for once I am not doing.
Now I am waiting on AF but I wont start stims till Mar 22nd. To me this is a really long time in between having AF and starting stims. I am trying not to question everything and drive myself crazy. I also have to do estrogen IM shots every tues and Fri starting next week. Trying to keep track of all that plus taking dex, prenatal vitamin, fortament and all the other 100 vitamins I am on is kind of a nightmare. I had to get one of those pill dispensers to try and keep track of all the drugs/vitamins.

to have fun - I've never heard of doing lupron and ganirelix together either, but hopefully shaking it up will be what works. I did the antagonist protocol the last two times, great # of eggs, poor embryos in the end. Praying the lupron will do the trick for me this time.
rik - my friends left this morning, but not before cleaning up, washing their sheets and towels, etc. The kids are with my BF right now until DH gets home. I am seriously so, so blessed with awesome people!

AFM - just laying around with my laptop getting some work done. I volunteer at my church doing graphic design and it's been a very busy couple of weeks. So thankful DH has this awesome Mac I can work on! It doesn't get hot like our old laptop. With the house being so quiet and no cleaning allowed, this is the perfect day to get stuff done (like setting up a website which I have never done). I don't being on the progesterone because I ALREADY have some pg symptoms (sore bbs, cramping, etc), when it's too early implantation to even occur! Grrr...at least I know not to read into them this time around (though I'm sure I still will come next week). But if the vagi-pops help, then so be it. Other than that, I'm feeling great. I went into this IVF really doubting it would work, but now I am starting to have a little hope. Praying for "the twins" Not really HOPING for twins, but I would be over the moon with one or two!

Hi Everyone!!!
This progesterone is kicking my ass!!! I am taking Promtrium 3x daily, two vaginal suppositories, and PIO!!!! OYYYY!!!! I want to take a nap about an hour after the prometrium kicks in!! I am skipping the afternoon one and going to take 2 before sleep otherwise I wouldn't be able to accomplish anything!!! I'm still in shock that I'm PUPO after all the drama the past few weeks!!!! My DH made my RE schedule bloodwork every other day because my history shows that about 10 days after ovulation I spot and my hormone levels drop drastically. We want to monitor them to make sure everything looks good so I have a lot of morning visits next week!! This Saturday I'm going to drive to Saratoga Springs and meet up with my 3 college roomates from college!! I'm excited but nervous to do the PIO shot by myself!! the needle freaks me out!!!! any suggestions???

AFM I have learned twice today not to type anything but short posts because twice I have had personal and AFM typed, had to drop it down on my computer ( to do real work) and lost it so my personals will continue to suck.
Allergies, adult asthma ( i did not know I had) sinus, boil/bite, pulled shoulder in yoga (??? who knew ???? yoga ???) Oh yes and my very personal favorite: bleeding to death. Seriously these have to be the cheapest BCPs on the market I am still bleeding, even heavier than my regular AF. So what exactly I am supposed to have left when I stop them on th 15th I dont know. It is seriously "wake you up in the middle of the night twice", heavy. I am calling my RE tomorrow. I am needing a little reasurrance that we are still okay and on track.

Well I am officially going crazy. The mild cramping is still here with a little bit of lower back pains and it is all I can think about.
I am really trying to stop but I am just so anxious. I am not looking for symptoms and I try to keep blaming it on the Progestrone Oil and Suppositories but I always think of implantation cramping and have to wonder. This is going to be really hard to wait until Sunday but I will not POAS. I hate those things and they seem to hate me. Never had a positive one.
Anyway, I just need to vent. I know that Sunday will be here before you know it. Sorry I can't do personals right know, I am at work and am afraid someone will walk up behind me. Don't need that. Take care!
