I am guessing that both made it! But at the same time, I am the first to preach that betas vary widely from person to person, but that is high! It's very encouraging!

That is very nice of them! I haven't thought of cooking ahead of time, but at this point I think it is too late! We are cooking by generator now!

Tawny -That's awesome neighbors - it is always nice to know that someone else cares. How is the bed rest/not bed rest going? Is your house clean now :-) is DH home with you? I usually like it better when I am alone during the day. My bed rest this time was over the weekend and then the is always someone around and having fun and I have to stay put. Best of luck for the wait and result.

Lindsey- are you. Looking forward for your RT on Saturday (if it is still that date)? Will you be able to drive there during the hurricane week? Hope that it eases down but think I saw in the news that it is calming down. You might have good weather on Saturday :-)

Bed rest is bed rest blah driving me nuts Dh works 3rds so he has been home durring the day watching Tv and sleeping on the couch right along with me. I did some house work today it was starting to kill me not doing anything at all. I figure most of you that have bfp didn't do strict bed rest for long so I should be safe by now. I'm still paranoid though, I don't feel any different but then again its only been 3 days sine et.
Maybe tmi but my instruction say no intercourse until bloodwork and if positive no intercourse until u/s.... really??? Any opinions on this. I'm reading fifty shades of gray and I'm not sure I can wait till Sept 26th's u/s

Annette: thesis was my first day almost fully back to work so that was a distraction!

Tonya: I enjoyed all three of those books  I think clinics can differ on this but most advice is no sex and no orgasms. As far as I've read sperm can soften the cervix which you dont want and orgasms rock the uterus which is also not good. Most say to first scan and some say first 12 weeks particularly if there is a history of m/c. Some say differently but the majority agree. Can I suggest you back away from 50 shades and read something else?!!!

Cristie: have you more blood work today?

Afm: im tired but that may be because i did my first working day in two weeks today! Finished up with the group and the growth they have made is wonderful. I would say one or two are still a concern in terms of taking their lives but they are definately coping better and there is absolutely no guarantee with this work.

Annette-Congrats on the BFP! Those numbers are awesome. My clinic allows sex with no restrictions as to when. My poor DH is going crazy with this mess with me. I wont with such low numbers.

Patricia- Sounds like you are getting things accomplished. That is wonderful.

Tonya- How sweet to have DH lay with you. Sounds like you are blessed with a good support group. Stay safe out there.

Lindsey- Praying everything goes will this Saturday.

Cordelia- Hoping RE had good things to say so you can start again. Let us know.

BR-I hate being without electricity. We had our house rewired for a generator last year and it has paid off in the winter storms.Stay safe out there.

AFM- Another beta test today. Hanging in there.Family leave today so now I will have to find something else to keep me busy. School started today. Drive to clinic will be crazy with all the mommies on the road for the first day.
