Hi all,
Tiger, Annie seems to be on the mend hopefully. The spots on her legs are starting the fade, she is still not 100 percent, but certainly seems to be improving. Her little nose is just soooo runny, and she HATES me wiping it. She turns her head away and just squirms and makes this "mmmmmmmm" noise (sounds a little like 'mum'..but maybe wishful thinking on my behalf?!?!? Her night sleeps are wonderful and have remained so throughout this sickness, so that's a wonderful thing for the sanity of her parents!!!..Glad that you are starting to sniff shortly, always made me quite excited to know that I was on the way and one step closer to meeting our baby..
MissMolly, don't stress about the accupuncture, I agree with what Heather has said, if the clinician has treated IVF chicks before, she knows that we're on a massive rollercoaster ride and therefore not always responsible with what we say and do (that was always my excuse anyway!)..I also think that the accupuncture throught the entire cycle will probably have some advantages, you'll have the treatment right from the start, surely that would be in your favour?
Heather, the needle disposal idea sounds good to me..After you raising this issue I happened across a stack of unused needles in the medicine chest, so I need to get rid of a heap as well..We have just moved the medicine chest as Annie is all of a sudden crawling (yikes!) and therefore able to get into cupboards / drawers etc..very scarey stuff!!!
Jo and Deanna hope you're keeping well, you must be mega-tired??, I was stuffed through most of the first trimester with Annie, astounding the level of fatigue you expereince. My IVF doctor told me that once you're pregnant your heart works 50% harder than it was pre-pregnancy just to support and "build" this little tiny person..A huge ask on your body!!
Take care all
Belinda
