Jacs - ring them first because if its the one I've seen (Dondolino something) it's discontinued and no longer available. I thought it was a great idea but Mama and Papas obviously don't agree with us! I'll let you know if I see anything else around.

Cheryl

I've just done all mine on a regular wash - my Midwife said to make sure that I used Non-Bio (which I do anyway) and a good softener - otherwise everything is done as usual.

Good luck and have fun - believe me the ironing doesn't take that long - little people have lovely little clothes

Hope you are all ok.

Congrats on gettting to 3rd tri Joy - it's fantastic isn't it? I'm suffering big time in 3rd tri - back aches, head aches, iron deficiency, kidney infection, breathlessness, exhaustion!!! But I love it - every symptom is more prove that this is really happening and I'm so excited about meeting my little one. Can't believe how close Smita and Lil P are now - barely a few weeks to go - wow - can't wait for everyone's news.

Happy resting everyone,
(P.S thanks Lil P for washing tips)

Hie Ladies

Fantastic to see everyone doing great, though aches and twinges here and there, thats the kind of journey we are on.

Smita- we are so close, how are you feeling, Iam happy your fluid levels have stabilised. Dont give up praying.

Cheryl- Sorry you are feeling all kinds 3rd tri symptoms. I went for an intensive back therapy yesterday, iam glad to say i can feel the change and relief straight away.

Little P - How are you doing, you are so ahead, i like that, I havent done my washing because of my dodgy back I hope to start soon.

Joy- Welcome to the 3rd Tri. Enjoy.

Jacki- How are you hope you are ok.

Gavin- say hie to Jen for me hope she is feeling good.

I wish I can write much but I cant as Im feeling that back pain again. My general health is ok. Baby is moving ok but not like in the 2nd tri when it has room for summersaults. Its head is already down but not engaged yet and it kicks me more in my ribs. My Polyhydramnios is borderline, thanks Smita, CC, and Minnow for your soothing words. My complete bed rest has helped me after nearly loosing this baby at 24wks. I had what I thot was a bloodyshow when the mucus plug loosens for labour, it went on for a wk and a half. Take care ladies and enjoy your remaining weeks.

Hi all!
I like this now,, its becoming busy on this thread again..
Esther,
Good to hear from you and that your levels are borderline...Almost there..yay!take care of your back
Joy,
Welcome here!! Its the last stretch!
Cheryl,
It seems like yesterday when I wrote to u and Jacs on how to do your tickers..
We've come really far haven't we?You seem to be having quite a time of it though.. Hope you feel better soon
Jacs,
have you found your swing chair yet?
Hope you're doing fine..
Olivia,
How're you doing?
Little P,
Everyday I'm thankful for..Like you, I cant wait to meet my little person. :D
And what is this about the washing..we do a lot of things differently.. so just curious.. are you washing little ones' clothes before he/she wears them?
I dont have anything for newborns yet.. dh will be getting me baby clothes when he comes next, but they'll be used ones of my friends babies as we believe that new-born babies shd wear old clothes first.. wonder if there is some reason to that??
I do have some baby clothes from my baby shower- but have no clue if i shd wash and iron them too beforehand.. makes sense i guess- hygenically..silly questions I ask sometimes :? ..
Gavin,
Hows Gen?
Sher,
A little over a week to go for you, Hope you have an easy time of it at labour.

take care all!

Smita

To be honest with you there are so many things that people do differently - it's quite amusing really!!!

My friend didn't wash anything beforehand and had no problems - and as for her list of do eat / don't eat during pregnancy it was about a quarter the size of mine

How are you feeling - I saw my Midwife yesterday (weekly appointment) and she said everything was looking fine - heartbeat was fantastic and Little One was head down (though not engaged) which is an encouraging sign. I get more and more excited and anxious as each day passes!!!

Any news on stopping the injections - I'm really hoping that you get to stop them very, very soon.

Anyway, take care of yourself and "bump"

Little P,
Thank you for asking.. I HAVE stopped the injections as of 3 days now!!
I was told to taper them off-( 2 weeks back) and stop after my last check(Saturday).Yippee!Though always feel I'm forgetting something when evening comes around!

Head down sounds wonderful- they didnt tell me me anything like that yet.. except that the baby was biggish..
I just hope for a normal labour instead of a c-section.. they'll tell me at my 38 week check-up.
I'm not sure what braxton-hicks contractions are.. anyone with a clue?

Hi everyone

There are so many of you coming up to your due dates. I am so excited for you all!
We are coping now with the sleepless nights. It just means catching naps at different times of the day, which your body just gets used to. Anyway, I wouldnt swap for the world sat here now cuddling my little girl.

Joy - Welcome to the 3rd trimester - time is certainly flying!

Cheryl and Esther -Sorry that you are both suffering. Not too long now though for either of you. Take care.

Little P - All sounds to be going well for you. I felt exactly the same as you in the weeks coming up to my due date, both excited and anxious! It will be so worth the wait when you get there!

Smita - Hope you get to have a normal labour and manage to avoid a C-section. Braxton Hicks are like practice contractions, but not painful. They are just your uterus getting ready for labour throughout your pregnancy and feel like tightening sensations. Some women feel them and some dont. I started feeling them towards the end of pregnancy, not as tightenings but just noticing my belly felt hard. It was the day I went into labour when I actually felt the tightenings for the first time. Not too long now for you!

Hi to everyone else, Susie - waiting to hear any news. Sher - very nearly there! Gen and Gavin, Jacs and Olivia - Hope all is going ok.

Take care and enjoy these last few weeks.

Oh my god - I'm so excited - just reading everyone's news is making me grin from ear to ear. I feel so lucky and blessed to be at this point and whilst a few symptoms are annoying - they're really not that bad and more than worth it! I feel bad for Esther who seems to be really suffering though - hope that all settles down soon Esther. Smita - glad to hear you're off injections. My best friend told me yesterday that she didn't wash anything before the baby came either - I always thought it was to soften everything (hadn't even clicked on the hygiene issue) so I'm not sure what to do - sounds like a lot of work! Jacs - anymore purchases? Lil P, Olivia, Gen, Susie, Joy - hope you're all having a lovely rest - it's all coming so soon,
Hurrah, Cherylxxx
