Hi all, just thought I would pop in and let you know that our scan revealed one tiny heart beating away. I had convinced myself that there would be two as my levels were so high, but I know deep down that one is "safer" and much more manageable for a first time mum!! Still early days, and I am praying hard that this little one continues to thrive.
I feel so lucky to have got this far, and I am still sending hugs to those of us who have had disappointments this month. xxx

I'm afraid I'm cutting and pasting, so if you've been to my thread, your're forgiven for skipping.
Sorry to say its again a BFN for us. I must say its been a pretty sharp learning curve for us. We have had a chat and decided to remorgage the house and try IVF fo rthe next cycle, IUI"s just weren't giving us any answers. I'm shattered. I'd love to say that I came out unscathed, but I am writing this after more than the acceptable couple of wines and I make no apologies. I'm angry, disappointed and down. All feelings I know will be gone when I wake up tomorrow, but tonight I feel them.
I thank you all for your continuing support - without you this would be so much worse.

Em so sorry about your BFN! Bugger! I hope your plan to go to ivf is successful!!!!! I begged my Dr to do IUI and he just said that we should not do something that had a 1 in 10 chance when we could do something that had a 1 in 3 chance of suucess and so we went straight to the ivf... but the money is a killer!!!

We have decided to have this month off and do one final IUI in August. In the meantime we are going to book in for our counselling session to get all the facts for IVF (costing, timing, etc) so that if this IUI fails we can start IVF the next month in September. I'm not overly keen on the IUI, but DH is and so this is my concession. Its cheaper and perhaps we'll be third time lucky!

Hi everyone, I went for a early scan today cause ive been having some pains. nothing much but a little worrying. it,s twins, i cant belive it. everything is fine. their two little heartbeats were beating away. The shock nearly killed me. I was certain there would only be one. cant belive it, its going to cost me a fortune 
im very shocked and very scared, but over the moon everything is looking good.cant belive im having two babies.
