GUESS WHAT???? I GOT THE OKAY!

And I got more than the okay! I got dates! Awwww, wow! I'm still on my cloud! I have to be very selfish and let personals wait because I have a lab meeting coming and I can't write long... but here it is.
My follicles now range from over 18 to 25mm... so they're ready. I have about 14, some are still borderline but they will be ready on Friday. I'll give myself the trigger shot tonight at 10pm precisely and I'm scheduled for EC on Friday at 7:30am. We'll arrive earlier so I can be with my sweetheart for his thirty seconds of glory (didn't like the idea of us conceiving our baby in separate rooms).
And our transfer date has already been decided: MONDAY! At 9am or something like that. They explained that, according to the recent studies and their own stats, waiting till they reach the blast stage does not give me higher chances of implantation. However, I might lose more embies on the way, so it's better if everything happens on day 3; the freezing and the transfer. She commented that anyway, the best place for an embryo will always be the womb (and Aunty, you did say that too not so long ago).
So there ya go! I'm ECSTATIC! I screamed silently in the ultrasound room and held my sweetheart real hard and even shed a few tears of joy the second the doctor exited the room (and LOL it was the same doc you all wanted to kick and slap and who knows what else... tee hee hee!)
And LOL given the instructions we received... we determined that having my husband... empty his pipes tonight would be too close to the EC... so he has to do it today since last time was Sunday... (would be 5 days flush and it seems a little much). So LOL I suggested him to do it at work discreetly (washrooms of course) but LOL he became all embarrassed and said he would make a special trip to go back home for lunch and do it there! Oh, I told him right away that I would have so much fun telling that to the girls on the forum and he said, "No way!! I don't think so!" I swear, I'm going to call him at a quarter past noon just to tease him!
Oh and what was also too cute is that, right before we parted to go our separate ways to work, he said, "Okay, you take care of yourself and be careful, mmmh?" I laughed and pointed my finger at him, "Oh now you're becoming protective already!" That's so cute!
I really have to run now.. but I love you all and I swear I'll write more right after the lab meeting!
Sophie
