My beautiful friends!

GUESS WHAT???? I GOT THE OKAY! :D :D :D MY EGGS ARE READY TO GO!

And I got more than the okay! I got dates! Awwww, wow! I'm still on my cloud! I have to be very selfish and let personals wait because I have a lab meeting coming and I can't write long... but here it is.

My follicles now range from over 18 to 25mm... so they're ready. I have about 14, some are still borderline but they will be ready on Friday. I'll give myself the trigger shot tonight at 10pm precisely and I'm scheduled for EC on Friday at 7:30am. We'll arrive earlier so I can be with my sweetheart for his thirty seconds of glory (didn't like the idea of us conceiving our baby in separate rooms).

And our transfer date has already been decided: MONDAY! At 9am or something like that. They explained that, according to the recent studies and their own stats, waiting till they reach the blast stage does not give me higher chances of implantation. However, I might lose more embies on the way, so it's better if everything happens on day 3; the freezing and the transfer. She commented that anyway, the best place for an embryo will always be the womb (and Aunty, you did say that too not so long ago).

So there ya go! I'm ECSTATIC! I screamed silently in the ultrasound room and held my sweetheart real hard and even shed a few tears of joy the second the doctor exited the room (and LOL it was the same doc you all wanted to kick and slap and who knows what else... tee hee hee!)

And LOL given the instructions we received... we determined that having my husband... empty his pipes tonight would be too close to the EC... so he has to do it today since last time was Sunday... (would be 5 days flush and it seems a little much). So LOL I suggested him to do it at work discreetly (washrooms of course) but LOL he became all embarrassed and said he would make a special trip to go back home for lunch and do it there! Oh, I told him right away that I would have so much fun telling that to the girls on the forum and he said, "No way!! I don't think so!" I swear, I'm going to call him at a quarter past noon just to tease him!

Oh and what was also too cute is that, right before we parted to go our separate ways to work, he said, "Okay, you take care of yourself and be careful, mmmh?" I laughed and pointed my finger at him, "Oh now you're becoming protective already!" That's so cute!

I really have to run now.. but I love you all and I swear I'll write more right after the lab meeting!

Sophie :D :D :D

Vickie - so sorry. But please still test tomorrow. There is still a chance. I know that's probably the last thing you want to hear at the moment, we know our own bodies don't we? But you should still do the test as many people have spotting and still get BFP. Here's hoping....(HUGS)

As for why is possibly didn't work, I honestly believe that most times its just down to luck. There is absolutely nothing we can do about it which is the harsh thing. Take some time, and when you're ready it might be worth asking your clinic whether there are any other tests you can look into. I'm not sure how many failed attempts you have to have before they do more in depth tests, but you can always ask.

I am thinking of you honey.

Vickie,

I agree with Emma you should still test. If you had more than 1 embie transfered this could be just one of them coming away. This is one of the many reasons why sometimes we bleed eventhough we can get a BFP.

My mum always got her periods on her pregnancies. She was 5 1/2 months pregnant on me and didn't know because she got her periods all the way through. You would of thought though she would have guessed beforehand since I am child no 8 and god knows she had enough experience.

I know even if I bleed before test date then I will definitely take a HPT to make sure.

If it is a case that its definitely a BFN, then I am truly sorry honey.

Hey Lisa, It is nice to have someone along for the ride. I have a question for ya, what does POAS mean? Sorry not completly hip to the lingo. I can not wait until the nineth! Today I ran a few errands so that helped keep my mind occupied and back to work tomorrow so that should really help me out too. House is an awesome show. I love that guy!

Bec- I love watching American Idol There auditions are unbelievable. My son gets to stay up late and watch it with me which is loves. Last night he made me laugh so hard. He was doing his impressions of all three judges! He even tried to get Simon's accent and he clapped like Paula. Oh my goodness I was LMAO!

Well ladies, just got back from Babies R Us, shopping for my friends baby shower on Saturday and secretly creating my own registry in my head! So I am off to wrap!

Check in later!

Hello ladies!

Mom: your story really touched me... I can't think of the moment I'll have to accompany my dog and my cat through the same thing... poor sweetie... the others are right, she's in a better place now and I'm sure she had a super dog life. *HUG*

Fed: poor thing going through those mood swings! It's a difficult time indeed, and the hormones are making it worse no doubt... think of Aunty's rule... blame it on the meds! The meds made me do it officer! What I wish you is some time alone to just focus your thoughts and regroup... be far from other people's annoyances for a while... *hugs*

AMD: oooh I'm SO sorry that we worried you with our reactions! Believe me, it was not my intention! I was just happy that your numbers were so strong! I hope Aunty's post reassured you; as you can see, those numbers can vary quite a bit without meaning bad news!

ss: congrats on doc apt; I'm glad you got good news! Grow follies, grow!

Ange: aaaaaawwwww! Thank you so much for the nice compliment! It really warmed my heart! Hehehe and I like the thought that my posts convey energy! That's usually what I try to do! :) LOL on the pin cushion and the war zone... ah, it's for a good cause, eh? I'll be checking the board for news on Monday! grow follies, grow! And LOL on the sweatpants! ;)

SilvaCharm: anxiously waiting for news! I'm with you in thoughts! :)

Shantala: hugs! your husband is very cute and sweet! I'm happy that he's sharing that moment with you and sharing your enthusiasm! That's great! :) How are you doing? And he?

arizonakiwi: yeah, I had a very close watch for my meds, but not as close as some of the people here (I had an apt on day 5 of stimming, and then every two days). And as you may have seen from my previous post, the recipe is now ready! ;) I'm glad that your injections are going well and don't cause you too many side effects! I hope you'll get the okay on the 5th! Keep us posted!

becleo: hey darling! Hello! Thanks for the encouraging post about ms... ! Well there's gotta be some advantages after all! I'm doing very well as you probably guessed! :) How are you doing?

Vickie, oh dear... I'm so sorry your body is giving you that scare right before the big test day.... are you sure it's AF spotting? so many women here have talked about spotting and even bleeding and are still pregnant! It's hard to believe but it's not over till it's over!

beachbaby: sorry that you're so sick! I hope the antibiotics work fast and get you ready in time for your FET! *hugs*

lara: thanks for your kind reply! LOL yeah, I would give him a hand, and more than a hand, if I could go back home! But unfortunately, he has the car today so I'm on public transportation and I have a lot of clients this afternoon! Ah, too bad! He'll be on his own! I'll cheer him on the phone instead! ;)

Have a great day ladies!

Vickie, I have to agree with the others, you should still test tomorrow. When I was pregnant with my daughter AF showed up for the first month and with my son AF was there for 3 months, with him I had no clue until I went in for something else!
You never sweetie, sometimes our bodies are just mean to us!
Good luck and know that no matter the outcome you can lean on us for support.

Hugs

Mom20,
So sorry about your dog. I know it must have been so hard. it was a loving act of mercy you did and your dear little fur baby will never feel pain again. Remember, he is waiting for you at the rainbow bridge.

Aunty, hope your scan goes well today.

Sophie,
congrats! this the most exciting time isn't it? I hope you get tons of nice eggies.

Shantala,
yippee! you are on your way!

Vickie,
do the test, do the test! bleeding doesn't mean not PG. I can't wait to hear your news. Good luck!

beachbaby, hope you feel better soon.

ooo guys, those American Idol auditions crack me up! I watched a bunch of them on youtube while on bedrest. Where do these people come from? I think they really want make a fool of themselves on tv. did you see the one where jewel was a judge and a girl came and sang one of her songs? the look on Jewel's face was priceless

Q for the ladies on the 2ww, how much PIO are you taking? I have to take 2cc. that's alot. My butt feels like it's got silicone implants. DH massages it with a hot wash cloth, I sleep with a hot water bottle on my butt and i rub it out whenever i can, it helps, but still my butt is lumpy. I thought for sure my RE would cut my dose in half yesterday after BW because he did last 2 times (4-5 days after ET). Maybe I'm still on a high PIO dose because I'm taking a different type of P4 pill and it's not absorbing into my system as well, I don't know. :? :? I am dissapointed that I still have to take 2cc, but my hope is that maybe a little HCG was detected in my BW and so the RE is keeping me on a high dose. I have BW tomorrow too. with my last 2 cycles they stopped my PIO all together at that point after BW and I was BFN both times.
