OK this is the plan...as I only seem to get a couple of minutes a time to myself I am gonna post snippets whenver I can...but where to freaking start???

Mego! congratulations! That is amazing and inspirational news. You must be so happy. I take it you have not made any general announcements on FB yet??? Wow, I wonder if I could follow your lead (and Jen and Mel's lead) and get preg on my own (well with DH as well). Mind you I spose that would mean I have to "do it"with DH a bit more often....but I'm so tired! Will u be finding out the sex??? I reckon you should stay with your mum for the whole first trimester...

Jenn, Good Luck! I have been checking in on your blog and am really looking forward to hearing your good news! I agree the C section is not bad at all (not that I have anything else to compare it to!)

Mel, for crying out loud that is an amazing post. I am EXTREMELY happy for you. Has it all sunk in yet?? Great to have you back...and if concussion is a fertility cure I am going to ask DH to smack me around the head RIGHT NOW....

Sass! Also great to have you back, although I check in on your blog a lot so it feels like you have never been away. Sounds like you and the trips are going along swimmingly and you may motherhood look like a piece of cake!

Wow, I am on a roll here!

Amy how freaking excellent to have you back. I always found your hilarious posts a fab contribution....good one for losing the IVF weight, running did the trick eh? I think I had better start running myself as I am fat as ever...I ride my bike to work three days a week and so far that has done nothing....I may also tape my mouth shut.

OK signing off now back soon, Fee

OK Sassy two more things

I) I have stolen your smoothie idea and now regularly put spinach in Rio's smoothie - the only way I can get him to eat the stuff, Brilliant;
2) I agree that stashing choc wrappers under the matress is probably a better idea than under the bed, but, don't they crackle when you roll over??

Angie Glad to hear Ams has settled in well at day care. I have also checked her out on the bucket is is a real cutie and has lovely eyes (you must get that a lot). Govt def looks like it is going to mess with funding of IVF, but not till Jan 2010. Do you reckon you will be ready by then? I am decidedly luke warm about more ivf...

Tina, how is our little Noah, have been enjoying the pics on FB and am very jealous of your pool and seemingly endless drinkies/bbqs beside it. It's winter over hear and I have a cold so I am flippin jealous.

Nickster that is a massive weekend of babyshowering that you have goin on, I also hate being the centre of attention but I bet you will enjoy it when it is happening. I can't believe you are already being scheduled for your c section, where did the time go???

OK i'd better be off. Happy to add sistas as friends on FB, if any of you want to be mates on FB let me know and I will PM with my real name....

Fee

Hey girls!! I have about 2 minutes to spare so I'll be quick-

Sam is here he was born at 8:27 in the morning and weighed 7 pounds 3 oz. He was 19 3/4 inches long. Longer than Anna, but a pound and a half lighter. He spent some time in the NICU due to some fluid in the lungs which made him work too hard to breathe. He is fine and home. They told me a lot of C Section babies have the same troubles. The pediatrician told me she called it 'wimpy white boy syndrome' b/c that is who mostly gets it :)

We are busy, busy, busy. Our daughter is throwing tantrums which is a totally new thing since brother came home. She never did it beofre. We are a little befuddled as to what to do with her except ignore it. She is getting better though...

My MIL is staying with us this week to help so SAY A PRAYER!!! She is not the easiest person in the world.

Mel- OMG!!! WOW is all I could say after reading your post. Congrats to you and Dh can't wait to hear more from you!

Meg- hope you are doing good!

Hope the summer heat doesn't get too bad for the preggos. I was actually cold Friday for the first time at the Dr. office and loved it!!

Ok gotta run, thank you for all the prayers and well wishes everything went great, I'll be back soon :)

Jenn--I just checked out your blog and Sam is so gorgeous! Congrats. I'm glad he's doing so well after his scary breathing problems! Wimpy White boy syndrome is a hilarious name for it! How's it with 2? Are you getting any sleep at all? That seriously is my biggest worry about this new baby...I just dread those first few months of zero sleep especially with Lucy to play with.

Fi--Yes, dear, if you want to join Jenn, Mel and I in the miraculous world of conception, you actually have to have sex. It was a struggle for me, too, but I "took one for the team" as they say! And hey, it actually wasn't too bad. (TMI???) Of course, now I'm back to sex only once in a great blue moon phase, which DH is not happy about at all. I think he secretly wishes we would have had to "try" for several more months!
And yes, I have considered moving in with mom for this whole first trimester...I just feel like shit all the time. But, dh has a problem with that plan (don't know why seeing as how we never have sex....)anyway, I've switched from taking my prenatal in the morning to at night and that seems to be helping me feel a little better. I am going to wait to do a fb announcement until 12 weeks or so...so far, we've only told family (and you guys, of course!) I just can't bring myself to tell anyone else!

Well, of to work out since Lucy is napping. I am not going to gain 70 lbs this time!!!!!!!

Hi to everyone else!

Hey Everyone!

Okay, so this miraculous thing you are discussing, when DH and I did it, remember I had the concussion, so it was me mostly laying there, okay dear, just do it, and get it over with  Uhhh...but it worked!

I went to the doctor today I have a UTI... I think I am just gonna be one big freakin' UTI in my next life. Is that possible?

We havent' told very many people, July 1st is the big fantasy day that I'll feel better and scream it from the roof tops! :) I just imagine this supe fantastic day, where at 5Pm I don't feel like the food I've eaten all day is sitting in my throat! And the exhaustion, it's all gonna disappear!

Oh Jenn!!!! I am so excited for you! Congratulations! Whoot! Whoot! I hope you are doing okay, I am sure with 2 it's more of a challenge but you are a superstar! So you are gonna rock it! That is unless you murder your MIL and then you wind up in jail, that could be messy! Yeah, don't do that!

Fee- Hope you are doing well! I know all about hiding candy wrappers, it's okay :) We won't tell!

I go to the doc on July 6th, I am debating on telling my mother about the appointment, she's gonna be in town, so I may or may not tell her, she'll drive me up the wall, and ask a gazillion questions about hte cancer and my cervix... I may wind up murdering her... so maybe I won't tell her. Hmm...

So how are you guys!

XXXOOOO!

Oh wow! so much happening and so little time to post!

Mel - knocked out and knocked up - unbelievable ! SO happy for you and welcome back - wishing you a smooth sailing pregnancy - you so deserve it

Jenn - many congratulations on the safe arrival of Sam - hope Anna gets used to him soon - must be hard for the first born not to be the queen bee any more ! I am sure Ams will be the same if we are lucky enough to have another!

Meg - did I congratulate you too? I can't remember - but more to the point congrats on having sex !! Ha Ha! (We have to do that too - see below) Wishing you nauseaa free days.

Amy - good to hear from you. You'll be glad to know the new series of the Concords are on over here now - loving it !!

Fee - are you going to do another cycle before the end of year - it is so annoying that they are pulling the funding.

Hi to everyone else.

I am back on the Chinese herbs - my P came back the other day because I ovulated on my own - very exciting development for me. Chinese dr lady is confident she can get my cycles happening regularly so we can try naturally too - then later on in the year I will have to decide whether to use the last 2 remaining embies , or leave them as a back up and go all the way with a new stim cycle - what a dliemma - it's like a game of russian roulette!

must fly

Hi girls! I feel like it's been so long since I've posted. Been busy getting ready for these babies! I can't believe we are 30 weeks today. Time has just flown by. Only a little over 7 more weeks of being pregnant...I just can't believe it!!

Mel~ I am so, so happy for you. You have been through so much, I was just so excited when I read your post a while back.
How many weeks are you now? We're going to have to work on a new ticker for you so we can keep up!

Meg~ You're "lesson" to Fi cracked me up! Hmmm...who would have thought sex alone would actually work, and twice for you at that!! It's so funny when you get caught up in that whole infertility whirwind that we forget about the basics!!
How are you feeling?? I figured you hadn't told anyone so I haven't mentioned anything on FB. Any ideas when you'll start sharing the news?
Speaking of new ticker...

Jenn~ Sam is adorable. I have been following you guys on your blog. I hope everything continues to go well.

Angie/Fee~ Good luck with the herbs and such. I really hope the natural pregnancy thing will happen for you too, as it has for the others in here! I always tell my husband, there is something about this thread that is lucky. Think about it, we've all gotten pregnant within a fairly close time frame and some of us are on the second time around!

Not much else going on here, just preparing for these babies and staying out of the heat.
We had our showers last weekend and got SO much stuff. I think all we have left to get is our big car seats and I have a shower from the girls at work this Wednesday and the word is that's what they are getting us. We feel so fortunate to have gotten all this stuff. My mom keeps saying she's never seen so many people so excited about babies. Through all the years of our infertility people talk about how sorry they are and how much they wish this for us but when it happens, you SEE how much they really meant it!
Have a great weekend everyone.
Talk to you soon.

30 weeks already, Nickster? Holy Toledo. I would have guessed you were around 20 weeks, time really flies when you're not the one carrying twins around! (At least, I don't think I am!!!!!)

I think you're right about this thread being magical...it definitely was my good luck charm. Wouldn't have made it through without you guys!

Yeah, I'm not going to do a facebook announcement for a few weeks yet. I'm only 8 weeks right now, although I have slipped and told a few people more than I would have liked to! Oh well, I think I'll be more comfortable with it once we've actually gone to the doctor. Still can't believe I'll be 9 weeks pregnant and won't even have had one ultrasound! Who'd of thought that I'd be missing the "vagascope"? I actually feel like I am showing a little bit already, even though I haven't gained any weight. I'm really having to wear baggy shirts, though!

It's another rainy day here. This summer has kind of sucked for sunshine! Well, think I'll go join Lucy in her nap. We were at the Children's Museum with friends this morning so I think she'll take a nice long one!!!

just wanted to say hi to Nickster - I forgot you in my last post and I wanted to thank you for you lovely comments about little Ams.

30 weeks - wow ! Not long now - did you ever find out the sexes - I don't think you did. I can't wait to find out when they are born - I love a surprise !

Just bought little Ams' birthday present - it's in 2 weeks time - hard to believe she will soon be a year! We have a bought her a wheelie bug which will whizz around the floor boards and one day she will be able to ride on it too when she is bit more mobile ( she is n't very mobile so far) - she had a sneaky play with it tonight before I packed it away - quite liked it until it rolled away and then she started to cry ....

Have also ordered her birthday cake - should really be baking it myself but when do I have time to do that?

Must go - time to have some dinner.

Angie--Am will love the little bug...Lucy got one for her 1st birthday (it's a wooden bumble bee) and she rides that thing all over the house. Crazy that she's almost a year already. It seriously goes so fast, doesn't it?

Melissa-Oh, oh. You're going to drive yourself crazy with that doppler! I just know if I had one I'd sit and listen on it all day long. Fun, fun, fun.

Just got back from the pool. Lucy is a swimming freak. She would stay in the water all day if I let her. The pool has a mandatory rest period every hour and she screams every time I make her get out.

I've been feeling like poop this past week or so. Forgot about morning sickness. It sucks. My doctor has me taking unisom and vit b6 for it, so hopefully that will help!

Hi ladies!!!! It's been so long. Remember me? I don't get to look in on this site too often. Today I did breeze through a couple pages and I had to post and say hello everyone and Congrats to meg!!!!

I noticed some of you are on FB. I would LOVE to get up to date and stay in touch with you, my old cycle buddies. Please send me a PM if I can add you to my friends. I have a few cycle buddies on my FB and it is so wonderful to see everyone's little ones and watch them grow up. :)

I have to get the boys into nap right now. Sorry I'm so short with my post. Wishing you all the best!!
