We, I am really positive about this upcoming cycle for you. You obviously have very good and healthy embryos because every attempt you got a BFP. And now with levanox they will stay in there!

LauraN, dec 13 is my birthday and number 13 has always been a lucky one for me. I hope that poas will bring you a BFP!

Ninde, just want to say that you are gaining muscle because you are working out so much. That's why the scale is only showing 3 lb. you ll see a lot more movement later on when your muscles start working for you and burning extra calories. You just have to keep going and not pay attention at the scale. Just stick with workouts and your diet and you ll see the results very soon. My meds are treating me good. Thanks for asking. Just emotional extra but that is it for now. I am excited my 1st sns is coming up tomorrow.

Gina- Sorry I can't be of help on the loan thing. I think though, that if you have no income that you wouldn't really be a co-borrower. Are they asking you for a co-signer to get the loan? I would ask for clarification as for if they feel like your app is incomplete or if they are saying yes but contingent on getting a co-signer.

Not much to say tonight. I'm watching the Michael Buble Christmas Special. It's not bad, but ugh I can't stand Justin Bieber. Loved Oscar the Grouch. My favorite holiday show so far has been the CMT Country Christmas. It rocked!

Gotta get. We are putting up the tree tonight and I don't have long before I have to head to bed.

Bonnie, 13 eggs is fantasic. My wishes are every one of them makes it to blastocyst so you can freeze some for sibblings.

AFM: Hearing a radio advertisement about twins makes me so ready for IVF...I'm so ready to move forward but dead at the tracks as I wait for one more IUI before we can move forward into the IVF Attain Program...Spring will be somewhat better for our finances...never have I been excited about tax season!

This time the tech spent a long time looking for an ectopic, but luckily didn't find anything.

Since there is still nothing in my uterus, this is definitely not a viable pregnancy.

We are waiting for the beta numbers to come back. If they go down, definitely a miscarriage. If they go up, probably ectopic.

I'm betting they go down... I took a HPT this morning and it's definitely much lighter than the past few have been.

Maria- I'm glad your Doctor is taking good care of you and listening to your wishes as well. It's hard finding that these days! Even though a lot is changing for you medically, I'm glad that there is a plan! As scary as some diagnoses are, it is better to know and treat it properly. I pray that everything goes well with the medications and you get and keep the BFP! Praying for this!

Bonnie- Great number of eggs! I hope you get a high number fertilized!

Blue- That's okay Thanks for the advice. I emailed them and asked but it wouldn't let me skip that part so filled out what I could. The next page was bank info so I knew it wasn't complete. We really need this!!! They haven't mentioned a co-signer yet, that was our bank. Hopefully they don't!

Christy- I'm thinking my time is the same as Leroa's or darn close! I'm 6 hrs ahead of EST. So when it's midnight there it's 6am the next day for us.

Neffi- Praying that Friday goes well and you get your BFP this month!

Lauren- Good luck next Tuesday!! I pray that is a BFP for you!

Leora- I am so sorry and upset to hear this!! Praying and thinking of you. I hope they can do some testing and see why this is happening. You and your DH are so strong so please hang in there.


AFM- I don't update much cause I'm going no where lol. However, I'm doing a lot better. My niece and I talk back and forth often which is nice, it has been a long time. Still kinda urked about her pregnancy but putting that aside and just praying for her and her baby, and that it all works out for her. I'm just trying to get us loans. Kinda wish DH would do it but I've always been the one to take charge looking up things and getting it going. That's okay I would probably want to anyway LOL.

Right now a GA rep has turned in a bill in the hopes of getting a tax credit for IVF. GA isn't one of the states that HAS to cover any IVF. This would be great!! Here is a link http://www.resolve.org/taxcredit

Beta is 300.

In a way, it's great to have a 100% answer - and it's great that my beta is dropping so fast. Last miscarriage, my beta was over 100,000 (and there was a baby with a heartbeat) and after the D&C it took more than NINE FRIGGIN WEEKS to get back down to zero. At this rate, I should be at zero (or thereabouts) by my follow up blood test next week.

I really hope to start again soon. I'm really hoping I get a green light to cycle in January.

I'm a little numb. In a way, when I get a BFP, I never actually expect to HAVE an actual baby. I always feel like I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. Now that it has, I feel like I can relax. How crazy am I?

While this sucks in a huge way and we are totally heartbroken, this is a lot easier than the other losses I've had. If it wasn't meant to be, 5.5 weeks is a hell of a lot easier than 10 weeks, or 22 weeks, or saying good bye in the NICU....

I'll update tomorrow with what the doctor says...

Leora I am so sorry this is happening to you I don't have the right words to express how much sad and angry at the same time I am for what you and David are going through. I know you are strong honey, both of you, more than you think! and I know you will pass this obstacle too. like you said, you guys have lived way too much worse situations than this and you made it through somehow. I believe in your strength and perseverance honey and I hope you that you get that green light SOON to start your fresh cycle! Leora: That really sucks.

Is there any testing planned? I mean, do they have any idea why this is happening to you? I understand that the twins might have been a cervix thing but what about the two miscarriages? There seems to be too many losses for there not to be an underlying medical reason.

Leora-I agree with Happy Bunny. I would definantely insist on some additional testing. I know from the research, most MC's are due to chromosomal abnormalities with the embryos but given the history it may be worth it to have some additional testing done. In my case, this held true. As you recall, with the last MC we did genetic testing on the products of conception and found that we ad 46XY normal chromosomes so there had to be another reason for the MC. I am keeping you in my prayers. Sending you a big hug.

AFM: really trying not to focus on how much longer I have till the beta date. So (and Leora, you'll find this 'interesting') my doc gave me (as part of hormone support) trigger shots to be taken on set dates (last one today) meaning... No real chance to POAS until close to the actual beta date. Btw -anyone else prescribed trigger shots during the 2ww? Noone I know ever heard of this...

Shari- I've never heard of doing trigger shots during the 2WW....what was his reasoning for that? My IVF nurse said that it takes 10 days for it to get out of your system, but then again, that's probably for the amount that you would typically take on trigger day. How much are you having to take? The only things I am on are the estrogen patches and the progesterine shots.

I found out last night that one of the 2 embryos made it to freeze. I have mixed emotions on that. I think it's great, because we didn't anything make it to freeze last time, but a little bummed that only 1 made it. This cycle has been very different than the last time, so I'm hoping that is a good sign. I am already dying to start POAsing, but swore I would wait..... I'm having all these weird symptoms that I know are too early to be pregnancy symptoms, but I didn't get any symptoms from the PIO that I am aware of last time other than the sore boobies.....so it's just weird. My nurse did tell me that your body can react differently to the same meds at different times. Even the soreness of my boobs is so much more intense than last time, I am not only wearing a bra 24/7, but I'm wearing my underwire bra 24/7. Last time I bought some lounge bra's that weren't super supportive, but supportive enough to wear at night.....those just aren't cutting it this time around. I'm having to pee I swear every hour, but no burning or anything else that would indicate a UTI, a bit of nausea, but not a ton at this point, mainly after I eat something and when I first wake up. And, I have this weird, full feeling (not sure how else to describe it) in my pelvic area. So, I'm probably just going completely nuts, and that's ok, I expect that, but just had to get it all off my chest..... so far, this 2 WW is better than my last one, but it is going super slowly......I know the weekend will go by quickly, so it's just getting through the week. And getting through hump day without even being able to hump...
