Ugh, Margi! Hoping and praying for low E2 level...let us know when they call!!!

Krys...How many dpo are you?

My friend's little boy, whom just turned 1 yrs old (Zach), with the tumor in his chest, is finally having his surgery this Thursday, for those who were asking. They had to reschedule it because he had the flu and a cold. :(

Margi- yes, I did say opera! I love to sing and have sung professionally in the past. Now I'm with an amateur opera group. I actually didn't get a role at all in this show, since I was 6 weeks pregnant at auditions and told the direction that I would probably be huge for opening night in December... oh well. It can be fun to stand in the back. My best friend has the lead this year. Last year, I did "Pirates of Penzance" at 20 weeks pregnant with twins! The opera is one of the ways I distract myself. Keeps me busy at least 2 evenings a week.

Of course I will post a pic of any BFPs! I love HPT pics. I'm such a dork that way. Somehow, I feel like looking at BFP pics will help me get mine! This had better be it! I will try to figure out mailing things to you tomorrow during my lunch break.

I have no idea about cysts. I've been dxed with PCO, but never seen any cysts on my SnS (I wonder why... hmmmm) I hope things are all good anyways!

Old? Did you say old? I promise - you are definitely not old! When I was a kid, I used to think anything over 20 was old. Now I have a FIL who is 65, and he doesn't seem old. So old is all in your mind.... (although sometimes it's a bit weird that some of you are my mom's age! She is 45, and has volunteered to surrogate for us if we need - but that seems just way too bizarre!)

Tammy - up until Saturday it was about 80-90 degrees F outside here! Today it is cold (well, "cold" for here - about 50) and raining (which we really need, we have a severe water shortage) I'm snuggling up with a movie and a hot water bottle and sweatpants - hoping my embryos are snuggling in as well. I hope you aren't too trapped by snow!

Leora...careful with the hot water bottle...we're not supposed to heat the ute up, since its already the perfect temp. lol I dont mind being trapped by snow right now...I'm actually loving it. Bill's school is only 1/2 block away, so I neither of us have to drive in it either. However, I'm sure I'll be going stir crazy by Wednesday. lol Funny cause most of my friends are in their 20's and 30's...and I dont feel, look, or act 42 according to everyone I know. 8)

Ryann...Call your doc. It may be the PIO.

Tammy-I'm on Crinone, not PIO...could it be that? I suppose it could be the weather too with our first snow! Oh and let me ask you this...did you have a csection with Zach? If so, do you anything about this...my scar (obviously not from a csection, but the same scar from my tumor surgery) feels funny...tingly and just plain old weird...and chance that's a preggo symptom? At 6dpo?? Haha I'm nuts!

Ryann...Yes, I had a c-section and yes it is still numb, rubbery, and tingly sometimes...2 yrs later...very normal. Could still be the crinone...it's the only thing different you've done in the last few days, right? I highly doubt it is a pregnancy symptom...but who knows! I have smelly pee according to Bill and he thinks it is an early pregnancy symptom and the internet says so too. Haha! Yes, I've entered crazytown, too, lol. Your funny and nuts too...and that's why we love you! :P

Oh btw, I just poas. BFP for trigger! lol Very faint though so should be gone tomorrow. I'm 9 days past trigger or 7 dpo.

Hi Ryann - Mine ended up being a kind of eczema triggered by seasonal allergies (which were really bad here this fall.) It started as just SUPER itchy skin, primarily on my torso. I mean I seriously wanted to tear my skin off. And some nights I had to sleep with ice packs on my skin just to get some sleep. Then after scratching myself to near death, it started to look like a very fine sandpapery rash and I had patches of it on my torso, lower back, back of neck. The RE had no idea what it was, they could only say it was not a drug rash. But the dermatologist took one look at it and knew right away. So it was worth the trip to the dermatologist and the ointment he gave me worked wonders. I still have one little stubborn patch, but it's better than itching in so many places. I'd get it checked out pronto and hopefully you'll have some relief soon!

Ryann: You have such wonderful PMA!! Keep it up…and regarding the itchiness..I am sorry. I think maybe you should call a dermatologist to get it checked out before it gets any worse. Especially if it isn’t responding to any “home remedies.” Have you tried wrapping yourself in Oatmeal as Amanda did? Lol.

Tammy: Smelly pee…you crack me up…always. Love your attitude, and I agree. We are as young as we feel…I have always felt and been told I look and act much younger. I think that’s what helped me catch a younger DH ;-) Anyway, I will try to remember and focus on that view!!

Leora: You are awesome. You and Tammy will be fighting it out for reigning POAS queen. Let the battle of the Pee Sticks begin! Can’t wait to see BOTH of your BFPs…

AFM: I am soooooooooooo relieved. My FSH is good, my E2 is low (30) so I am good to go despite those horrid cysts. WHEW!! So, I will go back on Friday for recheck SnS…nurse said only “tricky” thing will be to be able to distinguish good new follies from those giant empty ones. But, that is why I am coming back Friday. So---I am can go to the STIM list!
Tonight I start!! “Team BFP 2010” here I come!!!!

Margi - you sexy cougar you! Yeay for stimming and on your way to BFP!

Amanda - love your ticker! Don't forget to tell Ryann about the walking around naked in oatmeal!

Lauren - can't wait to hear about your WTF meeting!

Tammy - you crack me up! Smelly pee - Have you been eating asparagus? ;) Let the POAS begin and get you that BFP! Hey there is no old discussion here allowed! We are all super young and vibrant, they just got the date on my Driver's license wrong ;) praying for your friend's son! Let those babies implant nicely today! I am sorry that you were disappointed with this cycle but sometimes things can surprise you so don't discount those little guys yet, they can be fighters! Yes it was fun texting you, I felt like I was there holding your hand just like Bill ;) IF and big IF you do another cycle we can talk a different protocol but I really don't think you will need it cause we made a text deal to be bump buddies and that is the same as sealed in blood ;) !!!!

Ryann - welcome to crazytown! Are you going to POAS too?

Leora - opera! How awesome!!! When are you starting POAS madness?

CShell - let us know how ET went!!!

Sonya - Hurry up and wait is our mantra! You have become an IVF junkie! TOo weird when we don't have the emotional rollercoaster and now you just wait for your baby to come! Are you doing any genetic testing? Take it easy and enjoy your pregnancy!

kynlee - I am still waiting for that super pill that makes our DH's sperm super potent too. Argh.... I always thought, can't they just bank a ton of his sperm then get all the good ones and do an IUI or something. But I guess not!

Ester - same thing I said to kynlee, glad you are looking into making some super sperm here! Keep us posted on what you find! I really hope you get your BFP soon! Good for you for trying to look into all that is new and can help.

Lauren 1171 - you are PUPO! When are you going to start POAS? !!!

jkulab - welcome!

AFM - I cannot thank you girls enough for all of your support on my crazyness! I am past crazytown and in insanetown! My second US is this Thursday at 9:15 PST and I hope I can post some awesome news here! I have decided that I have an amazing little bean in there and he will show up for the party on Thursday. My betas were good and doubling time was great and he is getting cozy in my uterus so hopefully all very good signs. Now he just needs to quit being shy and show up for the picture!!!!

Hi All,

So here it goes....this is what happened at my meeting!

My AMH came back GREAT! He said he has no doubt that I have eggs...and good ones.

Our issue is the sperm is awful...he said this creates a problem for fertilization and ends with poor embryo quality:(

The RE said I dont respond all that well to the meds but that doesnt mean I dont have eggs...he said the only thing starting off with high dose of meds can do is make me sick and end in too many follies. He told me sometimes no matter how many times they "flush" and try to aspirate a follicle..we get whats called a sticky egg.it wont release itself?? Go figure al mine are hanging on for dear life!

I told him my DH was getting a second opinion with another urologist and we will see what happens there. He said based on the sperm issue and it creating such poor embryos our chances of getting pregnant are 25%...WTF?!?!? He mentioned donor sperm but the DH is NOT going for that!

All I can do is hope this urologist can make a difference if not I will decide to go thru more cycles..SUXS!

Oh Lauren, we must be twins. Bad sperm and then when we go through IVF, I didn't respond that great either. Do you have DH on vitamins and CoQ10? You should try DHEA anyway, can't hurt. My RE added Femara and actually had me on a lower dose of follistim and menopur than my quack RE did and I responded better. I hope your consult goes well and maybe we can make some super sperm! :) Good luck hun! Did they mention not getting to one ovary?

For those of you inquiring...I have already begun with my POAS craziness. I was hoping to keep that to myself :) but I guess if I can't tell YOU ladies then I can't tell ANYONE...so there you go! Since I did an FET there is no trigger to test out, I just want to know exactly what day I get my BFP...I KNOW 3dp3dt is WAY to early, so my PMA is still good! Yikes...I really didn't believe I would enter crazy town, then DH was gone, MIL was out and they were callin to me! Hahaha lord help me :)

Hi ladies, just a quick update.. My et went well. All 4 embies made it to 3 day with a grade of 3 or 'b' ...2 of which were 6cell and the other 2 were 7 cell. So because of the quality.. Doc suggested transferring all 4 to give us the best chances for success (even with all 4 its still around a 40% chance). Hope she's right cus dh and I agreed. So now I'm gonna relax and take it easy for a few days hoping these guys nestle in nicely. So that's it for me... Thinking of u gals and hoping you're all well :)
