Loving this thread

you know when...

You strip from the waist down and sit in the dentist chair.

The restaurants "todays specials" are no longer special - you've had them so many times!

You get invited to the hospital staff Private Christmas party.

You start to believe you really do have an Auntie called Flo.

tee hee hee. Thankfully these are all made up but I have been doing it too bloody long !!! Keep up the funnies x

Dear Ladies

Love this thread. Have been lol as I read from the start. So many of them apply. Cannot imagine anymore how other people don't know about AF, dh and all the other terms we use on here!

You know you've been at this too long when...

.........your friend says she had a blast and you say at which clinic

...........you do your trigger shot in a public place with friends and don't even bother going to the loo/bathroom

.............you plan all your holiday entitlement to cover all of your cycles for the year

.......you have EC at one clinic in the morning & head to new clinic for consultation in the afternoon for next cycle (looking to do this at end of the month!!!)

............you have read all the ivf books that amazon keeps recommending for you

Keep them coming ladies.

Love to you all.

....... when you advise the sonographer the position of your womb and ovaries - so that they do not have to 'dig' as much!

I had a trainee sonographer (which i don't mind as everyone has to learn) scanning me the other week and he could not find my womb (its quite far back and tilted) so i had to tell him, and the senior sonographer actually said - if in doubt as an IVF patient as they know more about their own anatomy than the doctors! LOL

when

Post by Still trying »

When your sat nav asks if you want to go to the clinic again today.

When they name the new clinic waiting room after you and ask you to help choose the colours.

When you get the reserved parking and the consultant has to pay and display.

When the consultatants family write and thank you for paying for their once in a lifetime round the world cruise.
