your right it is scary though no sleep ever again lol

How you doing today? I keep feeling thats its all a lovely dream and feeling afraid that I shall wake up soon.

Can't wait for scan think that will make it real.

Have you seen the 3D pictures at the village and week by week guide its very good.

yes im still pinching myself lol i feel really happy

and phsically im also fine still a bit bloated and breathless but nurse said i could be like this for 6 weeks.3d pictures village????????? where can i see

Hi honey,I don't know how people can not know they are pregnant; unless it just the extra progesterone we have to take for IVF thats making me feels so......pregnant.

My womb feels so active it keeps waking me up. I feel it stretching and moving about tighting up and then my boobs start kinda gently throbing like they are having a conversation with my womb. Also I keep needing the loo between 3 and 5 in the morning.

None of it feels bad it all feels exciting. So we are four weeks and 1 day today! And our babies hearts will be beating by this time next week? It's all so overwhelmingly amazing isn't it?!!!

Told my mum yesterday she is so happy she said she has been praying all week. I am trying not to get too over excited as it such early days but I want to scream.

For 3d pics do a for search for ivillage. Also got day to day calandar.

Still not feeling sick. Maybe tomorrow. Looking forward to having weird cravings, my mum was into sucking flannels with me! LOL

hiya are we 4 weeks? sorry how do we work it out is it from day of transfer if so does that mean im 2 weeks 1 day my scan is april 18th and i thought id be 4 weeks then??

its confusing.still feeling nausea only in the morning mostly but its much better when i eat .trying to rest more having afternoon naps lol thanks for the information about the 3d pics im going to go have alook take care hun xx

If you do your own personal calandar at ivillage you have to put in your ovulation date and the length of your normal cycle and it will tell you when you are due.

I won't tell you, don't want to spoil suprise! But I will say they will be Sagittarius! Fire signs! We, my DH and I are both Water signs so theres gonna be fireworks in our house! LOL

The reason we are 4 weeks is because the they take day one as being the first day of your last period as they were the egg(s) that were fertilised.

Obviously our periods were ages before; so they do it from when it should have come in a normal cycle ie. 14 days before the transfere.

So Friday 16th was our offical ovulation/fertilsation date and when we tested were were offically on the first day of first missed period, or four weeks pregnant.

I had a bit of spotting yesterday morning that freaked me out again. I know I'm not suppose to worry but i'd love it if it stopped.

Had loads of cramps yesterday, but things seem more peaceful so far today. Have even braved some housework.

I'm keeping a diary are You?

hiya im still confused over due dates

im also a water sign lol ..so how many weeks will i be when i have scan on 18th??? think i better ring my nurse this is all confusing me lol i think my lmp was feb 28th so thats not 14 days before i had transfer oh how confusing

not keeping a diary but i think thats a great idea :Dstill feeling a little sick in the morning and i cant stop eating. feeling really good today im going town to buy some knew clothes as im still soo bloated as i got ohss and nurse said this could last 6 weeks well at least i know the clothes will do me now also for maternity ill hopefully be showing by then.ive got this suspicion im carrying twins

You nurse sounds like she has been very good. I haven't seen anyone. No one wanted to take my blood which is a shame cos I would have liked to hear it from someone in authority that I am deffinatetly not imagining all my HPT being positive! LOL

And while I am whinging, I wish they were doing my scan as early as yours I am going to be 8 and half weeks pregnant by then and every day seems like an age.

In answer to how pregnant are we, let me try and explain again. It so confussing isn't it cos books often take about the embryo's first week and then in the next breath they say at six weeks, when they actually mean the embryo's fourth week.

So ignore when your period was. It wasn't a real period it was a bleed due to down regs.

count back 14 days from Egg Transfere Saturday 3rd March that would have been the first day of your natural period and Sat 3rd - Sat 10th is counted at week one of being pregnant even though technically we weren't yet.

Sat 10th - Sat 17th is week two with fertilisation offcially happening on the 16th

Sat 17th - tues 20th embryo should be traveling down tubes but of course ours were already in the womb.

Wed 21st - Fri 23rd the embryo now a blastocyst implants and hatches out conecting with our blood supply.

Sat 24th we are now 3 weeks pregnant

Sat 24th -Fri 30th by the end of this week "a dark mark appears on the.back of the embry marking out the spinal cord."

Sat 31st we are now 4 weeks pregnant

I might be a day out but I think thats roughly correct.

During this week week five ivillage says "our babies hearts begin to beat all their major organs are under development facial features start to form and the spinal cord fuses this week. buds appear that will soon be legs and arms. the embryo is now 1.5 to 2.5 mm long! This could be why you are so tired" and hungry!

No spotting yesterday thank God!!!! cramps on and off but no wonder reading the above! Very hungry had to eat at 11 last night not like me.

Hello Treacle, How are you today? I'm fine. Had loads of growing pains yesterday which were a bit scary at times. But all is quite so far today.

hiya ive also had some pains aswell it is worrying everytime i go toilet im looking for spotting but havnt had any.

yes i saw the 3d pics they are amazing cant wait for the scan i think ill feel much better after that.still feeling sicky started going off certain foods already too.im really breathless due to the ohss hope this eases up soon as i cant do much.

Oh you poor thing you've got ohss? How many follicals did you grow?

It's hard to just rest isn't it? And wait? I am so restless and I've got so much adrenilin after all the months of fear and excitment.

I've been so tired all the time, keep having naps after lunch every day and it usually when I am asleep that my womb start going for it. We had to go to the supermarket last night and by the time i unpacked and i was so tired I could hardly get up to bed.

Still we have survived a whole week since we found out our results and I am sure that once we have had the scans we will start to have more confidence in ourselves as pregnant women.

How long does OHSS last? Hope you feel better soon.

hiya i had 16 follicles which i needed as i donated 8 of them

they said this could last 6 weeks as pregnancy makes ohss worse.ive been assurred it wont effect the pregnancy im exactly 5 weeks today tested this time last week amazing isnt it.my boobs are soooo sore today.im off to chemist now to pick up my cylogest suppositrys its only round the cornor thankgod.

Had to giggle when you said you had to pick up your pesseries and that your chemist is only round the corner - because when I went to pick up mine there where so many they had had to alocate my perscription its own crate thingy. LOL

The chemist had to get a big supermarket bag to put them all in, looked like I was going to a pessery party!!!

Still I did enjoy ticking the box on the back of the script form which says PREGNANT and there didn't have to pay for my perscription.

Told my best friend yesterday, she is soooooo pleased for me sworn her to secret for the time being. But I had to tell her as she has been there there for me each step of the way.

Have you guys told anyone yet?

I do hope you feel better today and that you have a nice relaxing Easter. xxx
