Anyone on their 2 WW?

My RN said the number is OK, but would have been much better if it is around 50. It varies patient to patient though. For some ,it is low in the beginning but progresses faster.

We can't conclude on this, unless they see how the numbers vary in next couple of days. Worst part is, for my Satday's bloodwork, I have to wait till Moday

I am just thinking that "Something positive is better than negative"

lets wait and see.

Keep those + results coming!!!! Kellym on the hcg level all I know is that they like to see it above 50. But they also tested you early and from what I have read blast transfers tend to have lower HCG levels. They will just need to follow the trend and it should double every 2-3 days. My thoughts are with you.......I had a chemical pregnancy with my first IVF so I can relate to the agony of waitng.
Congrats reward74.......excellent level! Sounds like things are going great!
Bleeding can be normal during pregnancy. Those that are bleeding try not to stress. Just rest and drink plenty of fluids.
Baby dust hang in there and keep the hope flowing.

Hi everyone! I did another HPT today and the + was darker! HCG is tommrow......so scary. Keep me in your thoughts.

Thanks Hopeful Dad and Ivfmom!! I hope this level more than doubles Monday!! Hopeful Dad it is so hard not to test, when is your day?!!! Ivfmom you are pregnant, good luck on your test today!!! That line is getting darker, that is definitely good news!

I mistyped yesterday, I was 16 days post retrieval yesterday and 11 days post transfer, so I still had 2 days on you. That does suck that you have to wait till Monday for the results!! Gosh... but, it will be Easter Monday and I am hoping that will bring both of us luck! I definitely think some positive is better than no positive!!!

Congratulations to all of you who tested BFP/+HPT. Me and my friend Shanbeanie were wondering if you felt any symptoms during the 2ww? How many days after the transfer/retrieval did you start your hpt ? I am on day 9 post blast transfer/14 day post retrieval and Shan is day 8 post transfer. Thanks.

The waiting is horrible. I hate to bring in your bad memories, but what was you levels when you had chem pregnancy and on what day??

Thanks for the correction. What date was you ET day?? mine were retrieved on 21st and tranfer back on 26th late afternoon..

I think I am gonna take HPT on sunday, so don't have o look for results
until monday.

Dolly123--I really have not had any real pregnancy symptoms during the 2 WW except being more tired and hungry. I thought this might be from the hormones. I have an occ sharp pelvic pain but no real cramping since several days after the transfer. I have not had any bleeding.
I did my HPT 10 days after transfer of day 3 embryos and repeated it on day 12 to see if it was getting darker. Tommrow is my lucky day for my HCG. My clinic runs their own labs so I will get my results several hours after it is done.

Baby dust---My chemical pregnancy I had an HCG of 43 at day 10 or 12. 2-3 days later it started to drop. I did not have any bleeding or cramping. I basically felt like I do now which makes me nervous.

Goodluck to everyone and I'll post my HCG tommrow.

i tell you, i am nervous too. everyone else on this website has a first beta of at least 200, my little 86 is not that great. all i can hope for is proper doubling. that being said, we are on the same day! my retrieval was 21st and my transfer was at 12PM EST the 26th. the only saving grace is when i start to doubt, i feel a little twinge/sharp pain and that makes me think that something is going on still and i have breast tenderness that i am hoping is increasing! all we can do is sit and wait. i would get a walgreen brand or a target brand test, they have a higher level - like 50 that way you'll know for sure. i honestly, looked online for one with a level of 100 and couldn't find one!! i was glad you asked about the chemical pregnancy bc i got worried about that too.

Congrats to the BFPs. i went in on Thursday and got a positive with a beta of 68. They rechecked today and sadly it dropped to 15 so I guess I am no longer pregnant.

I had a chemical pregnancy on my first IVf cycle, 2 BFN and now another chemical. Is there a reason my body is rejecting the pregnancies? I hope that my clinic can shed some light for me.

I hope everyone else's beta increase. It sure is sad when you learn you are pregnant and then two days later find out that you aren't. It is a cruel joke.

i am so sorry that happened to you. i have heard that it is a good sign to get a positive, even if it is a chemical pregnancy. i have also read articles online that said the same thing. i hope this gives you some comfort but i know it is hard and i am scared that i may be in the same situation on monday. my thoughts are with you....

Hi KellyM, I'm so sorry about the chemical pregnancy. This whole process is heart wrenching. I don't know your age or circumstances but the fact that you are getting pregnant gives you better odds of IVF success. If you are over 35 you might want to try a DHEA supplement....several studies have shown improved egg quality and pregnancy rates. Acupuncture also shows increased success rates. (I did both for this cycle and so far so good considering my age--almost 39) Then of course just taking good care of yourself with a healthy diet, plenty of water, exercise/yoga, ect. There may be some more testing your RE needs to do. I'm sorry for your pain but I am hopeful for you to be a mommy. Peace and love!
