Blimey - not one but two more positives! Jo, Claire, I'm so pleased for you both - congratulations! Good luck to tomorrow's testers too - keep those +ves coming!

I'm doing OK. Have booked a fortnight's sailing in Greece going in 3 weeks time, which will be just what we need. In the meantime have a family wedding in a couple of weeks which will be hard, as its been planned for over a year and at various stages I've thought we'd be able to go with our new baby, heavily pregnant, or just pregnant - you know how it is. I'll just have to make the most of the bubbly!

Love

Alison x

Hi Alison,

Wanted to say we haven't forgotten you either.

I can really relate to what you said about the family wedding. Over the last couple of years I've been thinking I'd be pregnant/have a baby for all the landmark events we've been to - and have ended up swilling back the wine at each and every one instead!

Your time will come, I'm sure. Small consolation I know, but at least you can feel glam instead of fat at the wedding.

And your holiday sounds fab! Stay in touch when you feel like it, we're all thinking of you. Beck x

Hi Alison, hope you are bearing up OK - you are dealing with it much better than me, I couldn't even handle logging on to the site.

Your holiday sounds out of this world, sailing round the Greek Islands....bliss, have yourselves a fantastic time.

I also mirror what Becky said about the wedding, always thinking ahead to this time next year etc etc, and I too would be the last one on the dance floor, knocking back the vino! Enjoy the bubbly, you will be the fat one with the maternity frock very very soon!

If you ever need a `chat' you know where we are, thinking of you both,

Dawn x

Kathryn, if there is even the feintest of lines I am sure that is a positive, is there a line?

Wake DH up for a second opinion, he will be cross with you for doing it on your own.

What test did you get? If it isn't a First Response, get one today, as they have a more sensitive hormone detector to give you an earlier reading, hence a stronger signal!

Thinking of you with everything crossed, and have rubbed my Buddha's tum for extra luck (he sits in the West corner of our den and yes..... going slightly mental here).

Big (((((((hugs)))))))

D x

[Edited by Dawn Blake on 31-Jul-03 23:40]

K's DH - very funny, what are you doing in bed at this hour anyway you lazy sod!

You must be going insane, so get yourself down to the nearest Boots for opening and buy another test. Is there a feint line?? Don't want to give you false hopes, but if it is a negative then there wouldn't be a line there at all, feint or otherwise!

Feel really anxious for you both, give yourselves a hug from me, and keep me posted on developments!

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh, don't want to leave my pc now!!!!!

D xx

[Edited by Dawn Blake on 31-Jul-03 23:55]

yes there is a feint line dawn, but really feint. We will go and get another test, just to be sure.
I woke dh up ( he doesnt go to bed till 3.30!) and asked him what he could see, and he said a strong blue line in the circle(test complete)and a feint one in the square. He didnt know what he was supposed to be looking for so I knew he was being honest and not imagining!

thanks dawn, Ill let you know of any updates!
kathryn
x
