Dreambaby, Thanks for the wishes on the E2. Maybe just the thought will help! :D

Went for another u/s this morning and things are still moving along, although at a snails pace, but that's better than nothing, right? Finally have 4 follies (after 10 days of stimming), the biggest 15mm and the smallest 8mm. Doc still has hopes for me but wants to keep me stimming for another 4 days, so I'm back for another u/s on Monday. A little bummed, since my retrieval was supposed to be Monday, but that's ok, right? Just have to be patient I guess...

Wishing you all the best....and keeping my fingers crossed for everyone!

Hi Nicaliw! It did get quiet, didn't it? I think this is a big week for retrievals and hopefully everyone's went great. :D I was hoping mine would be this week too, but, I'm STILL stimming. Went back on Monday and I'm barely inching along. One follie grew to 17, the other 3 stayed the same size. I have another u/s tomorrow. Hopefully I will have had a little "growth spurt" in the last 48 hours. I've almost lost count, but I think tomorrow is my 14th day of stims. I :o guess moving forward slowly is better than standing still! Hope the coasting is going well...

Hi nicaliw.

Good luck for your ER! Hope you have plenty of eggies and wishing you a BFP. When is your test day?

I had my trigger shot last night and my EC (or ER) is also thursday morning. My test day is 22nd Nov, if i get any transfer that is.
Last time none of my eggs were fertilized so hopefully i have a better result this time.

He Anie,

Good luck to you too! We're on the same schedule, my beta will be the same day as yours but thats Thanksgiving so I'm sure the office will be closed. I know myself well enough to know that I'll be doing hpt before then anyway, but not too soon, took 10,000 units of hcg last night which takes apparently 14 days to clear from your blood.

So, here's to lots and lots of great looking eggs and some fab embryos!!!

I had ER on Monday and had 28 eggs! We were excited but nervous because last time we had 25 with 18 mature and ZERO fertilized (I understand your worries Anie!)
Great news - it turns out of the 28 there they did ICSI on 24 that were mature and 19 fertilized!!!!!!
ET is tomorrow, thursday, our anniverary!!!!

Nicaliw - good luck for your ER tomorrow!
Anie - Hang in their with positive thoughts!
Corneybaby - we are all sending good vibes your way - grow, grow, grow grow :)
Danyel - how is the stimming going?
Buddy - how are the u/s's going?

Good luck to all of us!

Ok. so when they tell me "it only takes one", apparently I took that just a little too literally! Just got back from my day 15 u/s (yes, I said day 15). I have ONE mature follicle. The others are all under 10. Doc doesn't see any point in continuing the stims because he think it'll take at least another 7 days to get the little guys to grow...if they even do. The good news is, he's going to go ahead and retrieve the mature one this Friday. Yay! Now I just have to hope and pray that the "it only takes one" theory really works, because that's all I've got to work with, unless of course by some miracle that some of the others mature enough between now and Friday! Trigger shot is tonight! A little nervous about the bigger needle!

Danyel, those are great numbers! Good for you!

Nicaliw - good luck tomorrow...I'll be praying for ya. How bad was the trigger shot?

To you both and the rest...lost of luck and baby dust! Hopefully we've got a bunch of BFPs in the making! :D

cornybaby, your follies sure are giving you a hard time but all I can say is just keep those positive thoughts, I had read some amazing stores. The trigger shot was a breeze, I actually look down to see if the needle was in all the way because I couldn't feel a thing!! Good husband. Poor thing, I totally lacked confidence in him cause I'm a nurse and was being all nursey about it, but he did good.

What doesn't kill me makes me stronger, right? Hopefully this one little follie will be my miracle. Glad to hear the trigger's not too bad. DH hasn't had to help me with any injections yet, so I'm a little nervous letting him do it. Ok...so a lot nervous. I'm a control freak. Not to mention, he's a firefighter, and therefore an EMT, so I know he's done this before, but I am still scared to death to let him to it to me. :D I'm sure we'll get through it just fine. Can't wait to hear how your retrieval goes tomorrow...wishing you and all the others the best!

ET was today and we transferred 2 8 cell grade A embies!!! Also, had 9 additional good embies for FET later on. What a wonderful anniverary we are having. DH was so excited to look in the microscope and see the embies before the ET.Test will be 11/19
Good luck to everyone!

On the shots - Dh gave me the trigger while I was lying down and it hurt for the next 2 days. He has been giving me the PIO while I am standing and leaning against the back of the couch with my weight off the foot on the side he is injecting. I thought this would be harder, but it is much easier on both of us. I haven't felt a thing and no soreness afterwards either (and I am a bit of a wimp when it comes to needles). The other thing is he is infecting it a little higher now and that really makes a difference as well.
