Sara - I totally agree with you about trying to get them on schedule. That's what I plan to do as well..
As far as getting stuff done, I know that's what I wanna do because once and if i'm on bed rest I don't think I'm gonna be able to do anything.. and it's gonna suck!!
I really do hope you get to find the sex of the babies so keeping my fingers crossed for you! only 2 more days
My appt is on July 3rd - well my due date I'm not even sure anymore honestly I think she said Dec 20th but my RE said Dec 31st but then again she said that could change.. so who knows!
But I will try to find out when I go on my next appt.

Well, today I woke up at 430 to go to the bathroom yet again and I had some blood again. The last time was 12.5 weeks. The bright red blood lasted 20 minutes then it turned dark red and then brown within an hour. I called the doc and they had me come in this afternoon and nothing was wrong both babied moving around and heartbeats strong and cervix 3.86 and closed. The tech, however did notice something. She noticed a pee pee on Baby A and a hoo hoo on baby B. So we are having a boy and a girl. We will also have that confirmed on Fri at the high risk doc when they do the anatomy scan. But we are very excited. The doc said the bleeding is normal and should subside within the week.

i am so sorry you had to deal with bleeding again. I am sure it is so scary to wipe and see blood. I look every damn time. I think the good news is that where you are in the preg, the babies and placentas are well established and blood does not mean miscarriage!
it is wonderful that you found out a boy and a girl! did you have any feelings about it? are you and your husband ecstatic?!
we found out we are having two girls and we are very happy; our boy is 7 so he is a little bummed no boy in there but we keep telling him he will have special privledges being the only boy and the oldest! And our daughter is thrilled!

I don't know what is more exciting....finding out you are pregnant or finding out what you are having! Both so exhilerating!!!!!!
I have looked at the co-sleepers as well, but not sure what to do. The boys nursery is directly off of our room. Not sure if it wouldbe silly to attach a co-sleeper to the bed when their cribs are litterally a few steps away. I think I am going to again play the wait and see game. I will try sleeping them together in one crib and if that does not work, then I will get the co-sleeper and sleep them together in it, so they can be really close to me!!! All of these unkowns are driving me crazy!!

Any news on Stephjim from the other boards? I am hoping she is ok. Must be so scary to be that far along, yet needing to really keep them in longer.
I am dreading the idea of bed rest after being on it for a week. It is impossible to keep the household going...parenting from the couch is NOT effective. My husband is such a superstar with our kids and working and cooking and cleaning...it just feels so helpless to be on the couch when you are not sick! Yet if it keeps those babies in there for longer..you just do it!

Yesterday I had a little temp and body aching, stuffy nose, headache ugh horrible - I took me some Tylenol Multi Symptom and thought that would help.. but it made it worse!!
Today I feel and look like crap! I don't have temp but I do feel like my body is gonna like fall apart..
I didn't get good night sleep i havent been able to sleep cause I get up around 1 am or 3am every day hungry and wanting to eat something and after I'm done eating somethign I usually go back to sleep..
I still have 5-6 months to go in this pregnancy - I dunno what I'm gonna do!!

Stephjim, MY BAD! I am so sorry...I know things are better with youand I am so glad. I meant Sugabeanz from the Double Trouble board (sorry, these nickanes kill me, so hard to keep track!). She seemed to be going into early labor with her girls that are due in Sept.

Good Morning ladies! Hope everyone had a great weekend..
My weekend was horrible I started bleeding on Saturday and had to go to ER and spent most of my saturday there.. They couldn't tell WHY I was bleeding but they did the ultrasound and both babies were doing well and had strong heart beats..
I was crying and crying cause I didn't know what to expect! they put me on bed rest told me to call my OB first thing Monday..
Today I'm at work and I'm still stress about this bleeding cause it hasn't stopped!!
Originally I had my appt scheduled for this Thursday but I might see if she can squeeze me in for early appt and make sure everythign okay and nothing serious..
I tell you what though this scared the c-r-a-p out of me!! I have never experienced bleeding with my first pregnancy so this is new to me and OMG was I crying!!

I went to my OB appt - they did the detailed u/s and both babies were moving around and doing great!
Baby A : 13w 6d
Baby B: 13w 4d
I'm officially 14weeks pregnany YAY!! I cried and cried cause I wanted to make sure everything was fine and they are doing great and they looked so big!!
I go back again in 2 weeks for another scan and appt. Looking forward to that
OB said try to take it easy as much as possible and no intercourse till the bleeding has stopped - she said to do Pelvic rest LOL whatever that means..
She said blood looks to be old blood but if anytime I feel like I need another scan or need to see the doctor to call and come in - because they understand how stressful it is when you are bleeding, so that was a relief!!
Ladies I'm all happy that I get to see and hear my babies

What a stressful weekend you must have had!
I am so sorry you had to go thru all of that!!
And I am VERY relieved that all looks great with the babies. What a process this is being preg with twins!!!
I think it is great you got your dr to see you asap and make sure if you are stressed or worried at all that you make them see you so you arent spending any mental energy worrying!!

Ps And I was thinking...I really wish we would hear more about bleeding during preg. You hear about it so much on these boards and it seems like it is very normal! And in fact, we all wipe and check every time worried to see blood! It would be nice to know the reasons it can happen and to know that you can bleed (alot in some cases) and you are not miscarrying and the baby is just fine!

sara- Yeah tell me about it! I was a wreck till after they did the invasive ultrasound!
But really I agree with you - we read about bleeding etc.. on these boards and what not and you would think you will not freak out this bad.. but until it happens to you and see it!
you just don't know how your emotions goes nuts!! I really hope it doesn't happen to anyone - it sucks!!

How are things going now that the bleeding has slowed? Has is stopped all together? And did the give you any indication that it could happen again?
Everything good here. I am trying to relax in this preg. I am 16 1/2 weeks. I have my quad screen today and I am really hoping they recommend against the amnio. Everything looks great so far. I am feeling good. Just really tired at night. In my other preg, I had trouble sleeping, but not this time (which is great). I dont have the energy to play with my kids, which is hard. I have them busy with activities but I think I am only tiring myself out!
I am getting over the shock of TWINS...and now getting excited. I love reading the Double Trouble thread. And I was reading up in Feb 2008 babies and they have lots of twins over there so I thought it might be fun to invite them over here~!
