Recap: I had a baby girl May 1, 2008 from my first IVF. 2 embryos, Grade A & Grade B.
Froze 3.
Went back 3 months after birth for anther IVF cycle. Hyper stimulated, had to freeze. Got 3 embryos. Makes 6 frozen.
Had my first FET 6 days ago. Used 2 again, same grades. Still have 4 frozen.
Took HPT yesterday, negative.
Took HPT today, positive!
Sarah I hear what you are saying about cramps and the progesterone. I had cramps all the time, the prog causes a lot of cramping. When I got my calendar for this cycle I noticed I was supposed to ONLY be on prog suppositories. I called them right away and said NO WAY. I wanted this cycle to be the same as my last FET that resulted in BFP. I might be the only person in the world that WANTS the injections, but the suppositories are yucky and MESSY. I always worry that the med wasn't absorbing right. Plus I had a cycle with my previous RE and had terrible lining from them. I am thinking of you and you are already half way through your 2ww. results will be soon! Do you take HPT's? I have never, and don't plan on doing it this cycle. I dunno why, I just don't like to. I go to the RE today and start my estrace Thursday. Transfer is in 4 weeks, seems so far away!

Kim, you're the woman I've been looking for!! Somebody who had two BFPs in a row! My son is just over two (first fresh cycle), and now I'm in my AWFUL 2ww waiting to see if my FET took. I haven't found anyone on here who have had two (and only two) successful cycles! Way to go on the HPT! I'll be praying the beta is the same!! BTW, what day post transfer were you when you got your negative HPT and then what day post transfer were you when you got your positive HPT??? Did you do a 3 day transfer or a 5 day?
rikees, Yes, the suppositories are icky and messy. I hate them! I hated the PIO shots too, but I thought I'd give these a try. I'll stick them out a bit longer, but I will tell you that I've decided that if I get a BFN, I'm DEFINITELY switching back to PIO shots. AND, if I get a BFP, I'm going to ask to switch back to the PIO shots...so no matter what, I have just a week more with them. I, too, worry about how much "stays" in there and really works the lining.
AFM, I just got back from the clinic dealing with the billing office. We do not have ANY insurance support, so we have to pay everything out of pocket. Something got screwed up on our bill. We had paid $2500 two or so weeks ago, and then when I got another bill in the mail it said that they ADDED an additional $2500 more to our bill. I'm supposed to be unstressed right now and then I get that bill! Seriously!!@#%@# The lady was very nice and said that she got it straightened out and I shouldn't stress!! So, it's all cleared up, but still upsetting!
One week from right now I should be getting my beta results! CANNOT WAIT!!!

sbr, thank you.
We are lucky. The only problem we have is the sperm won't go into the eggs. I guess the outcome really depends on the reasons for the infertility. I told my mother today that 2 in a row like that is almost unheard of.
I did 5 day on the 1st. So, 6dpt got negative, 7dpt (today) got positive.
I'll be thinking about you next Tuesday! Good Luck!
Good morning ladies! I'm 7dpt (3dt). What is the earliest I can start those HPTs??? What was the earliest any of you got BFPs? Still going nuts, but feeling a little more upbeat today. No symptoms to speak of...just patiently waiting!

I'm new to this board, and I'm still confused with the abbreviations. I had my first fresh IVF with donor eggs last Dec, and it was a BFN. (That means blood test negative?) They said I had been pregnant but that nature decided those two embies were not healthy.
I took some expensive tests ad they found that I have a clotting issue. So this time around we will be adding heparin shots in the stomach twice a day. Now I have hope that it was not bad embies, just my own issue and maybe the heparin will fix that.
I'm feeling sick from the birth control pills this time, and the depot lupron (didn't happen last december) so I'm scared and depressed.
This should be more hopeful wth the heparin but my RE never told me much, just a few comments from a nurse about all of that.
My transfer of two frozen embies will be on May 4 and I'm very nervous. I know that many people go through more than a few tries but this is so difficult.
I'm 47, and had never tried to get pregnant before last december's IVF.
Hoping to find a place to get some support as my RE is very tight lipped with information and I feel very worried. It looks like a lot of great things going on here, hooray for all who have had babies through IVF and who are going through this thing again now.
Sorry to run on, the abbreviations have kept me off of most forums so far!
I am so happy for you!! Congratulations ! I have been waiting for your BFP message since morning.
Keep positive thoughts ladies.
Ally333 Welcome to the group, I too hate it when RE's have their lips zipped. We pay them alot of money and they dont have few mints to spend with us to give enough information. I think most of them are good but some are just not ready to share info. Anyway since you are already here you can get all kinds of information. BC Pills do give you mood swings. you can ask any questions you have and we are all here to help each other. (by the way BFN means Big Fat Negative).
Huge congratulations to you Kim!!!! I didn't know about the levels but last December it seems my numbers were low. So it's all very confusing.
The birth control pills are now stopped, and I'm hoping to feel better in a few days. The shots always make me feel like I'm actually getting somewhere. Anyone got tips on things you can do to increase your chances?
I have decided that I simply can't take the disappointment of any more negative HPTs, so I'm done---waiting until my beta on Tuesday. I just took the two at 8dpt3dt (Friday) and 9dpt3dt (Saturday), which I know is too early, but if they would have continued to be negative I just couldn't have bared it. I'd rather just be utterly disappointed once rather than day after day torturing myself still holding out a slim hope...so that's the story. I may cave later or tomorrow, but I doubt it!
We had a nice Easter. Jack had so much fun finding the Easter eggs and he did really well in church!
Happy Easter to all!

My beta did not budge. It was a chemical pregnancy.
I'm doing fine. Kaylie is almost 12 months and today for the first time I told her to give me kiss and she did! She looked at me and placed her lips on mine. She must have known I needed the love today.
We will try again asap, just need to get the money.
Sarah I will be thinking of you tomorrow. BFP! BFP! How are you managing with your son? Doing all the normal stuff? My RE said no lifting over 10lbs but he said he tell everyone that and obviously if I have a baby I must lift during the 2ww.
Welcome Kim & Ed. I am so sorry your FET didn't take. My thoughts are with you. Do they explain what a chemical pregnancy is? It isn't an actual MC is it?
Welcome Ally! and Good luck!
I am plugging along here. On the Estrace. Going for 2nd US on Thurs and RE said right on track for transfer on 4/30. Now if only my stress level would decrease. My DD has had an ear infection for over a month and I was told she needs tubes. It is a minor surgery but do I try to do the surgery before, during or after transfer?!?
