Well the doctor called me back today with results from yesterday er and said 14 out of the 15 eggs retrieved were mature and all 14 fertilized and split, so were super happy!!! Now my et is set on Sunday and I guess now we just wait and hopefully we'll have lots to freeze. Baby dust to all

Hi Everyone

I'm Jeannie, age 42. I'm going to be doing donor eggs at the end of June in Europe. VERY EXCITED, hoping for the best but trying to tell myself that nothing is magic (oh, except that baby dust - hehe) and I have a 60-70 percent chance of carrying a fullterm pregnancy.

It looks like no Lupron for me, just increased progesterone and estrogen to thicken my uterine lining for the day of transfer.

I am getting excited but my type of work gets in the way of daydreaming about this because it is so exhausting and so completing demanding of my time and energy that when I work, I rarely think about all this. On my days off, I start to feel rested and think about all this exciting stuff.

Good to have some buddies to chat with for the next month

Congrats usmcwife!!! What great news! When do you have your transfer? Have you decided how many you will transfer yet?

Things went well today at the doctor. I went in for a baseline ultrasound, and she spotted about 25 little eggs that will hopefully grow. I start Bravelle tomorrow, and go in for another ultrasound on the 27th. I am so excited to begin a new phase! On a less exciting note, I gained 6 lbs in 10 days on Lupron! AAAAH!! Oh well, it is all worth it!

Had my er yesturday and we retrived 8 eggs. Today we got the call that out of the 8 only 4 fertilaized and out of the 4 3 are very good. I have confirmed et on Sunday. I pray they contuniue to grow

Hi every one, I would like to join you guys, I am 31 y old, My husband 41, we been married since 2000, we have a male fertility factor
tried the first IVF-ICSI in 2005, with 2 embroy , one Grade A and one B, no left over to freeze, and we had our cute baby girl in april 2006
tried a gain IVF-ICSI in Feb 2009 , but we had to to stop and freeze the embroies because my doctor said if i continue with transfer I will get OHSS(hyberrstimulation syndrome, so we get 6 good embroys and we did the FET in may 20, 2009, with 2 embroy ,
and today is my fourth day

Ok well I had my et today.It was so quick and painless, very happy about that. They transfered two embies that he said were excellent. So now I just have to wait!! June 3rd is my bw for beta and that seems like forever away My doctor says three days of bed rest after a transfer so now I'm home letting the dh pamper me. Baby dust to all.

Wow, am I accurate? BOTH Eve2860 and usmcwife14 had ET today?? And usmcwife you seem great afterwards.....which is making me less nervous for the day when I get to do mine! Stay strong and yes, let that DH pamper you! I hope you don't have any discomfort and congrats--you officially made it to the 2ww (and hopefuuly Eve2860 too!)!!!

I will be delayed by a month for ET (ER still on track for the end of June). We will be doing genetic testing of the actual embryos which means on day 5 they test, then immediately freeze the embryos as it takes a month to get the results back. So my ET will be the beginning of August instead of the beginning of July. It's hard to know of the delay, but this is extremely new technology (our clinic is the only one in the country doing it) and they screen all 23 pairs of chromosomes and only transfer those embryos that pass, hopefully increasing the chances of success!

So, no meds yet.......by the end of this week we'll do a home preg test to see, if by any miracle, we are pregnant naturally. If not, when AF comes I'll start bcps on Day 3 and then the fun begins.

Hello all.... I am proud to say I had ER today and they retrieved a total of 20 eggs!!!!!!!!! I never thought they would get so many out of me. I guess the flare protocol was the best for me. ET is scheduled for Wednesday but if all looks good they will push it back to Friday.

Hi everyone

I just took my last bc pill tonight and started lupron 3 days ago. This is my second try at IVF and my first on lupron. Should I feel bloated already from lupron? I thought it was just to make sure I don't ovulate?? Otherwise, I should be starting my other 2 stims next Fri. or Sat. so I'm assuming my retrieval will be early June. I'm nervous but also excited

I look forward to hearing everyone's stories as we go through this at pretty much the same time! It helps to hear others are going through this also!!!

usmcwife14: Congrats on your et. We both transfered two embyies I pray they decide to stay untill feb.
Stay Positive.sorry to hear about your delay. You will do great when you turn comes. Et does not hurt at all It is unconftable because of your blader beeing full.

As for me we transfered 2 eight cell embryos yesturday. The third embrios we had just did not make it. . Dr said that the two embryios were very big and had no fragments in their dna. Now I pray that the two or one we transfered will decide to stay with me untill feb. Hope they make themselves all cozzy.

I cried when the dr put in the two embryos . I was excited and very happy. DH went pale when he saw the long tube that they use for transfering and of course he was very excited.

Dr. told me to take it easy yesturday until tuesday. I can move around house. Tuesday I can go back to work.
I have my beta testing and pregnancy test on June 4th

AFM –started with stims on Friday, very happy and excited!!!
I will go for u/c on Thursday and if everything is ok my dr. is planning for ER on Sunday or Monday. Right now I’m so worried if I will react good on stims, I can’t wait till Thursday for u/c…
