Good morning ladies!
Okay, I have some free time at work so I'll do the personals I promised!
Dys, congratulations on the birth of your DD!

What is her name?

Wow, you don't waste any time, already preparing to jump back on the IVF train!

It always makes me sad when I think about how money sometimes determines if some of us will be mothers or not. A good cyber-friend of mine, Miracle, whom I met on the awaiting tmt team, has been waiting since 2008 to start her very first tmt, accompanying countless others on this forum while waiting her turn. All because of money. I'm keeping everything crossed for you and I agree with your doctor. Once your body has known nesting/pregnancy, even only for a few weeks, it knows what to do. Many IVFers commented that it was easier to get a BFP a second time.
Louloujez, hi!

First tmt then! It's always an adventure, so many new things... but you'll see, even if it's a roller coaster ride, it's not so bad. As for egg retrieval, wow, your clinic does it under general anaestesia? Have you had surgery before? I've had it three times and I can tell you, it's like falling asleep in three seconds. And you wake up peacefully. with all the testing, and all the interventions they do each year, they're highly specialized and they know what they're doing!

Lots of baby dust for you!
Hi purplefish!

it looks like we'll have transfer around the same dates, but our protocols are different because I'll have FET. I only start supression on day 21 of my cycle, which is Sunday. Congratulations on your twins! Girls or boys? Names? How do you feel about doing your first IVF? It's very different than IUI that's for sure. More apts and meds. Yup, when you gather all your meds together and look at the pile, it does seem like a lot!!!!!! Good luck to you dear!
Hi Anissa! Wow, you're quite a veteran, like me!

It's such a long marathon... how do you feel about doing this IVF, different than the other times? It,s weird... it seems like you've lost the nervousness that comes with the first time, but you still know what's going to happen, so therE's some anticipation... but at the same time you doN,t know what the outcome will be and you think of the consequences, so there's nervousness all the same. Mixed feelings! As for the signature, it's easy. At the top of the page you'll see "user control panel". Click on that, then click on "profile" and on "edit signature". Voilà!

Baby dust to you too!
Hi Tiger! Oooooooh a massage!

Good idea, I think I'll get one too on transfer day!

How are you doing? Wow, you did wait a long time... it sure would be a nice addition to the trip, a BFP party!!!!

I'm crossing finger and toes for you!
Kizmet, hi!!!! Gosh, AF can be such a beoch sometimes!

You've been very patient, and I really hope you'll be rewarded with a BFP!!!! How are you feeling about the whole thing?
mcfarland, hi! Yeah, FET cycles are way less demanding than IVF. Less meds, no injections in my case, which is also nice... It is very stressful, though, when they thaw your embies. Well, this time it will be, because we only have one pack left (3 embies). So if they don't survive, the cycle will be cancelled. BUT, we've always had good survival rates (50%) so far, so I'm sure this time we'll have at least one to transfer. Hey, looks like you've planned your time very well so you can manage the 2ww, it,s inspiring! I'll see what I can do to plan mine...
Hi Rypell!

So the IVF journey begins for you!

Baby dust to you!
Okay, time to do SOME work before I go to a 3-hour long presentation... I work in a hospital as a psychologist and they're taking the numeric turn for the files and we have to do training for that... ah, well, being able to read the doctors' handwriting will be a plus!
Take care,
Sophie
