Hey ladies I had my transfer today 2 embies and I have 7 left, but I feel so sick vomiting a lot I guess fro the progestrones, I will call my RE tomorrow morning to see what to do, I am feeling awfull.

Summit i happy for you 11 survived that is very good, make sure you get some enough rest before the transfer. So how are feeling with the progestrones?

Leoria - Best of luck on your Thursday retrieval! I am so glad to hear that you won't have to wait through the weekend.

Jamila - Sorry to hear that you have not been feeling great. So far I have been okay with the meds. I keep you posted with any changes. How are you feeling otherwise? When is your pregnancy test?

My nurse just called this morning and we still have 11 embryos growing. As of right now we are going to a day 3 transfer, which will be tomorrow. However, they may decide tomorrow to wait until day 5.

DJ -BJ - Is this your first cycle? I am going through my second cycle and did not have as many follicles as last time, but we managed to get 16 eggs 12 were mature. What does your doctor recommend?

yup its my first cycle summit...im excited but worried at the same time.tomorrow is my retrieval. they might try to look at my l ovary since i will be sedated and check if they can retrieve some. but for sure all four they will extract and see if i have enough eggs to fertilize..if not, better luck next time.

Oy... today is hard. I forgot how awful the day after the trigger but before retreival is. Nothing to do but worry! I'm glad I didn't have to go to the clinic, or take any injections, but now I'm just sitting at work and stewing.

Tomorrow will be a crazy hectic day. Today is slow as all hell...

I have to be at the hospital at 7:30am tomorrow (DH is complaining about having to produce his 'sample' so frickin early inthe morning!)

How's the 2wws going? When do y'all get to test? Tomorrow starts my 2ww! I hate it, but I like it more than waiting for treatment!

Me I am doing much better today compare to the last 2 days with nausea and vomiting after the transfer.

Leoria - glad to hear that the retrieval is on schedule tell hubby not to worry about the time mine had to produce at 4:45 AM! I tell you our husbands would never survive the protocol for IVF... to think all they have to do is show up with a cup

Jamila - happy to hear you are feeling better. Just had my transfer today test is scheduled for August 5th. Going to be stir crazy by tomorrow morning... Per my doctor I get to be a "couch princess' today!

Summit so you had 3 days transfer and how many embies did you transfer? so hang in there for the 2ww I pray for all of us to get this positive pregnancy, thank for the support.

had egg retrieval this 7am. got back home a little sore, took some tylenol. able to eat and pee...RE said she got 4 eggs and we will find out tomorrows 1st day fertilization if sperm and egss bonded!

We had 2 embryos transferred. A little nervous about the thought of possibly having twins, but just going with the flow at this point. Several of the other embryos displayed a 20% or more fragmentation so the doctor recommended we transfer 2, which she had recommended when discussed protocol for this IVF cycle.

i know summit! im just glad that those 4 follicles had eggs in it or else im doomed. we're thinking 3 day transfer maybe this sat if we get lucky. baby dust to all , i hope we all get pregnant at the same time. i dont really care if there's multiple of them as long as they're healthy and normal. my RE said this morning, well its the quality not tha quantity and it takes only one....!

14 eggs! FOURTEEN! (not as good as last time's 18, but last time only 15 were mature. Hopefully these are better!)

Fertilization report tomorrow. I hope 1/2 make it (we have to use ICSI, so a lower fertilization rate).

We will be transferring only 1 (unless I break down), due to our loss. There is no reason to suspect I couldn't carry twins to term (my loss was spontaneous and tragic - but not indicative of a problem like IC or PTL), but DH and RE are insistent on 1. (Ultimately it's my choice, not DH's. Legally he has no rights, but I would never do 2 without his consent).

I'm tempted to do 2, just because of a higher pregnancy rate. I NEED to get pregnant again. grrrr... Somehow this is all harder since we lost our son and daughter. I never thought I'd be doing a fresh cycle so soon. I was sure that one of the 2 FETs after our loss would work... damn

But, I'm trying to stay positive about our good results!

DJ-BJ - So happy to hear you optimism! It is just what you need in this process...it is challenging to be optimistic and realistic at the same time. Keep us posted on your fertilization report. I think fertility docs during bedside training must have "it only takes one" inscribed in their brains b/c mine says the same thing too!

Leoria - 14 eggs is not bad, it is the quality that counts. I had 24 eggs retrieved during my first cycle and 16 this time. If your protocol was changed to antagonist it is to be expected that you will have less eggs retrieved... the hope is that the quality is better. In regards to transferring 1 or 2 that is a tough decision. Remember that you are young, so if your doctor has serious concerns regarding your health and safety you may want to take heed. What are their concerns? If serious health risks are a concern is it worth risking your physical and emotional well-being?

just got a call from RE , out of 4 eggs , 2 fertilized and is scheduled for transfer this sat 7/24 at 9am USA time. excited , still neasueated from the pills, (doxycyline) i guess all worth the pain just to have our bundle of joy
