thanks margi for checking in on me. Well i really cant say smooth. i was so nervous coz the catheter would not go in smoothly. the nurse had to bend it like twice to get it in. i was at the point of telling her if you cant get it in dont force it got am getting my cervix dilated. dont want to waste my chance here then she says its in and hy hubby nodes his head. so i hope things went in well. also i did have that much cm after the procedure so i guess she did it right. one time i had it and all i could feel it falling out in my crack excuse my language. on the table and the nurse says oh thats just your cm. i thing those are one of the cycles they did intercervical instead of iui. oh well the wait starts.
The other thing that concerns me alot is usually after the ovidril i have a ton i mean a ton of ewcm but this time i had to search for it with tissue. do you hear me. i mean search to see anything. even yesterday apart from the pains here and there no ewcm. but i knopw the procedure bypasses that/ its just odd with all that meds that i dint have my usual ton.Oh and we have male factor so yes we bd but like my hubby says who knows which swimmers will get there first. i have been married 5yrs come on and never been on birth control??? anyway the wait sucks already.
enough of me running my mouth. how are you holding on?

I'm sorry that the procedure wasn't so smooth. But at least she got it in without too much pain. Do you cramp much after? I did the last time for a little bit, but no cramping at all this time.

I don't know what to say about the cm. It is odd if it is different for you. I actually didn't notice at my last IUI, but I did sure see a lot with this one. Perhaps each cycle is just different? Who knows. It is so hard with so many factors to account for.

Regarding BD--even though you haven't gotten pregnant in 5 yrs with no BCP, most of those months you didn't have so many eggs for his swimmers to choose from! LOL. Think of all those follies you had!! Any one of the swimmers could have made it through--from BDing or from the IUI. We'll never know which is the one that got your pregnant--and yes, you are gonna get your BFP!!

Me? Trying not to show it, but starting to get a bit nervous. I really hope that this cycle works. I am not sure I have the energy to keep going if it doesn't. But it will. It will. It will. PMA.

Margi,
I might be undergoing an IUI next month-Feb, all depending on DH's test results. Since he has been taking vitamins we're hoping to be a good candidate, finding out more later this week. Wanted to find out how intense the meds were, if many injections were used, how often did you go in for monitoring?
Married 13 yrs
36, unexplained
1 natural pg- m/c at 7 wks
(2010-2012) 4 IUIs, 2 IVFs
FET cycle 2/25/2013
Beta: 95, 390, 1361
3/27 HR 140
4/10 HR 184
4/17 Released from RE

Hey there Sunshine!

Not very intense at all!! Especially after bouts of IVF...seems like nothing! For my first two rounds I was stimming with Gonal-F once a day at 150. I was really surprised at how well I responded at that (seemingly) low dose. I go in on Day 3 to check bloodwork and check for cysts. Then stimming started. I went back after 4/5 days of stimming, then usually 1 or 2 days later and then trigger and go in either 24 or 36 hrs after trigger for IUI. Really so much easier on my body and time than IVF by a long shot. This last cycle we added Menopur because I wanted to be a bit more aggressive (due to my age). I have been able to get 5+ mature follies, but so far only BFN's. I am 99% certain that is what tomorrow will bring unfortunately. Sigh. But we will be giving it another go. I have much more energy while doing this than I did with IVF and since no ER or ET no bedrest, etc. needed at all.

I also had an HSG to make sure my one lonely tube was properly open before we started--which it was.

Wishing you the best of luck!!! Hope that DH gets a good bill of health.

Margi
