Nik

You are one of the least ungrateful people I know - highchairs - this might sound daft but check the mothercare catalogue obviously as you have it but look on ebay - not to buy as he will want knew but just for the ideas and of course the kiddicare site - you will get a fair idea - there are some fab chicco ones - the more expensive side of course - he won't mind - they are multi-positional and they will tone nicely with the MB and BAB's - can't have too many colours can we!?

As for the others having a life - mmmmmmmm think you are right - mind you even when I was at Hays I got my priorities right! Am going to do some more work now for your DH incase he starts thinking I do sod all during the day!

Helloooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am still here! My mum and I haven't actually done much shopping. We have been visiting all her old friends from when they used to live here before deserting me and my brother and moving to Devon.

I have basically been her chauffeur and have done 150 miles already! I think the retail therapy will have to be postponed! Pah  Still, it's nice for her to catch up on her friends and I don't mind. I am taking her to London tomorrow night to see Mamma Mia. I have seen it before and loved it and knew she would so I am looking forward to that. I will HAVE to tape Footballers' Wives, I can't miss that!

I saw my Midwife (Stewart!) today and we listened to the heartbeat which was very strong and loud so that was nice. He asked if I was having a home birth? My nextdoor neighbour had her baby in the bath 2 weeks ago and another neighbour gave birth at home a week ago so he said I could make it a hatrick - I don't think so, although it's not a bad idea. I am so off hospitals at the mo.

Nik, you don't sound ungrateful at all. Highchairs are NOT top priority and that's a fact. No one has offered to buy us anything in the way of pram, cot or highchair. May be I am being too expectant!! Mind you we have nowhere to store anything just yet what with all the building David is doing.

Tracey, your mum is obviously like my mum and has piled stuff in a cupboard over the years with little outfits etc. I found a baby book about 2 years ago in her drawer and it really made me cry as she was so desparate for a grand child. In fact there were two books one for me and one for my brother who is older than me and not married or in a relationship with no imminent plans for kids so I was her only hope.

Once my mum goes back I will be living on this site again which makes me think I should try to get a life!!

My boobs are not getting much bigger but they sure as hell hurt at the moment. I am praying that leakage is kept to a minimum as that thought is not a nice one.

Be good

Love Dagny xx

Its lovely to have you back!! The terrible trio is not the same without you! It did make me realise this week that TS and I are obviously the only two with no life as we are always just posting each other!! Everyone went awol!

glad you are having a nice time with your mum here. Is she going to the scan with you tomorrow?

We listened to our heartbeats (not our own!! not that daft - well dh is - he listened to arthur and jeremy's when we first got it!!) One was 148 and the other 142 - so both quite quick. Can't remember if the old wives tale means they are both boys or girls......

I'm 25 weeks this week, this middle bit seems to be lasting much longer than the other bits! I guess now I have all the stuff I'm impatient and just want them here so I can play with my bugaboos!!!

OOOOOOOOOOOOO it's so good to have the 3 muscateers back - what a relief - saves N and I playing with ourselves (that did not come out right did it??!!! )
Nikola - did you look at the catalogues and find my Humphrey in the background - a baby jack ratttle arrived today and that is me done until 20 weeks - or the general idea. Wondered if you saw any cots - reading your thread - was that the heartbeat rate for Jeremy and Arthur or the twins - I think you are having one of each or two boys - that is where my money is and have bought them two outfits today in white - sorry but not sure what sex and it is easier for the moment
DAGNY - welcome back - wot no shopping :( Wots that about - Mamma Mia is great - have a lovely time - I could see it again. Don;t worry about boobies - they will be fine. Did your neighbour have the baby in the bath by accident? Only joking! Think hospital is a good idea jsut incase - we go through so much - Stewart the midwife hey - how cool
Love to you all
