Hiya Shell

Thanks for that - I suppose it must seem quick to you - to me it seems like forever and in a way very quick if this makes sense - you will know what I mean I am sure! I am feeling somewhat uncomfortable the last few days and they are pushing my diaphragm - it feels squashed and my bottom rib hurts - moan moan moan - as long as they are ok!
How is Alex - still feeding ok and sleeping? and how are you? it has been very quiet without you whilst you have been sorting problems - hope on their way to being sorted
Love
Tracey

I'm Here Shell!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

My hours merge into days, into weeks......do you feel like that!! :?

Glad Alex is doing good - Wow, Rusks - he's in with the big boys then!!! How's he sleeping?

Sam is good too - he was weighed yesterday and came in at 8lb 11oz - another 11 oz this week. He's a grumpy monkey at the mo - much more awake, but not really at the toy holding attention stage - I have to remember that although he's 11 weeks today ( :o can you believe that??!!), he's really only 4 weeks in terms of development. As for sleep - still 3-4 hours feeds :( he'll take 190 ml at the only bottle feed I give him, and then STILL only sleep for 3-4 hours. LOL Ah well, we'll get there.

Tracey & Dagny - I love it when you put your penny's worth in, don't feel you need to stop on our account - Shell & I may get a bit too 'mummy talk'!!

I went into school today :( :( I have to interview for a new member of staff on Monday. OMG, I'll have to think about clothes! LOL....

kKss for Alex.

Zoe

Wondered where you were - very quiet on here without you and Shell.
Dagny and I have resorted to talking about Home and AWay and NEighbours as can't contribute to the sleep, gripe water and rusk conversation. WE just nod our heads and let you get on with it.
Glad all well - good luck searching for a suit!

Hi Tracey,

Mmmmmm - clothes, refusing to buy anything, so avoidng trying on from my wardrobe :? will let you know.

TV - yip, and if it's on, usually kiddy stuff with silly songs and talk.... :?

Baby talk - sometimes I think it's all that does come out!!! :D

Things they don't tell you:

...you definately give birth to your brain to. From running a 6 person dept, I now can't remember what day it is.

...your house will fill up with tissues lying everywhere.

...don't even think about eating until 9pm and when you do, it's like a race to finish before he wakes up again.

...talking about food - you eat in turns!

...and if you breastfeed, you eat for Scotland (or wherever). I eat breakfast and am thinking about what I'm having for tea.

...a baby cries when you're out and you find yourself saying 'oh dear' even though the child isin't yours that's crying

...your voice gets a lot higher.

...I won't even talk about sleep...

These are a few things coming to you, but you know what - IT'S ABSOLUTELY BLOODY FANTASTIC :D :D :D

Hello Hello Hello

I'm here, I've just give Alex 3oz of water and put him in his cot for a bit so I can have chance to come on and say hello, I just don't know where the time goes these days oh on Alex I guess but I ain't complaining because I wouldn't swap him for the world, he is my world and I love him to bits.

Zoe - He asn't had any rusks for a few days because he's been struggling to drink his 7oz bottles so I ain't wanted to force it down him because he will be sick. Sam is doing ever so well with his weight I am so happy for you. It's so tiring though don't you think, uyou just want to have a good nights sleep and it just doesn't happen.

Louise24 she has twins and she is doing great she puts them down early and they go right through to morning I am so proud of her.

Trace - I do know what you mean it does drag but also goes quick but I tell you once they are here you will be thinking where does the time go. It takes me all the time to get on here. Lee says he will have Alex for an hour for me so I can come on here but I don't like to leave him is that funny or what, anyone would think I would be glad of the time to myself.

So how is everyone else doing?

Zoe I know what you mean about the baby talk, I seem to be doing the most weirdest things, but at the end of the day Alex loves it so why not carry on.

Hope to hear from you all soon, sorry I ain't been around just want to be missed so much  hee hee.

Love
Shell.

Well I'm catching up on posts again and thought why I had chance I best type away, I'm up before the birds today lol.

Tracey - I bet you can't wait for the twins to be born, it really is all exciting and I enjoy every minute of being a mommy. I won't want to go back to work in December but hopefully sweet talk Lee and I won't have to. Mind saying that I do like my own bit of independance and plus I have been there 6 years so I was just going back part time.

Zoe - I am so happy, Sam has come on leaps and bounds how brill is that with his weight, I bet you can't believe it. Do you often look at him though and wonder where the time is going? Alex is just growing to quick and won't be a baby for much longer.

Lee put his moses basket up the attic the weekend for me and then it finally hit home how much he is growing up and it was a little emotional to be honest.

I am popping into the Fertility CLinic on Wednesday to take Alex in and so looking forward to it and going to buy them some choccies too. Oh and on Wednesday evening I am going to see a fortune teller so wondering what will be said to me.

Hey girls whats your opinions on tattoo's? I am thinking of having a small one with Alex's name in at the bottom of my back???

Love
Shell.

Hey Shell,

good to hear from you. know what you mean about things being emotional - I packed away my maternity clothes and couldn't stop crying thinking I'd probably never wear them again :( !!

As for Alex & Sam growing - it IS going so quick. When Sam first came home, he didn't even reach the handles of the moses basket from the bottom and now I wonder how long he's left in it. I'm not ready to not have him by the bed!!!!

Fortune teller???!!! SHELL!!!!! wanted to know ig you'll have MORE good fortune??????? lol :D :D :D

And as for tatoos - I have to confess I have a small one just up from my ankle which the kids I teach, every summer get told I've drawn i on with pen so as not to encourage them!!! LOL. When sam was born, I finally got my eternity ring with his birthday inscribed on it, and steve got a watch with the same engraving.

Am waiting for steve to get back from the chemist - the cat jump on my arm this morning & drew blood - of course I'm freaking still breastfeeding, but I know it'll be fine. Oh, and still doing that bloody tax form!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 :(

Speak soon

Hi Zoe,

Bless ya for gathering your maternity wear together, to be honest I am going to bin mine because my stuff had some bashing because I didn't buy that much. I also think about having another bab, the hospital say it may happen naturally but I don't think so to be honest and then we said we wouldn't want to go through the ivf again but at the end of the day we are lucky to have Alex so we are blessed. I think I would go through it again even though at the time it was stressful.

Bless you with your tatoo, do you regret having it though Zoe? and for someone who hasn't got a tattoo would you recommend to have one?

Lee come home from work and asked to go Blackpool with the lads I ain't happy about him going. He went last year and said he woudln't be going again because of having Alex and now he wants to go so you can imagine I ain't very happy really  I told him he shouldn't want to go now but I guess I just sound like an evil witch.

Alex is asleep at the minute, gave him a bath and he's got to go for his needles today so I ain't looking forward to that at all.

Anyway hope you have a nice day Zoe, its lovely that Sam is still in his moses basket, its another touching part when they go in there own room. I brought the monitor and I worry incase I sleep through him but I don't but I would give anything to have him back in with me (can you imagine when he grows up what I am going to be like) hee hee

Love
Shell.

You two amaze me - where do you find the time?
I can totally understand about how quickly they grow up - we were talking about it today and said how we must make the most of it - still goes though doesn't it.

Yes I am getting exciting now - can't believe it is 25 wks tomorrow - yikes - where does it suddenly go? will this bit go quickly do you think?
Double troube - yep great news!

RE a tattoo - too old for me now - well some would say I wasn't but I think I am - If i was younger I probably would and it would be bottom of back or ankle - nowhere else. I mean being pg would not suit the boobs as the thing would end up near the ankle anyway (that isn't what happened is it Zoe? - only joking honest). It is not as if it is something silly you are putting there shell like when people put a boyfriends name or girlfriends and then split up a week later. What if you have another - you would have to add to it to make it fair.

Though we never forget what IVF is like you become distanced don;t you - Shell you have time to make a decision you spring chicken - what about you Zoe?
Love to you both
