Alette,

Congratulations on your wedding!! I'm always trying to think of ways to enjoy life while going through these tmts and yours takes the cake! Our best to you both for a long happy life together. You'll have your little family one way or another.

Well, I don't want to join prematurely, but I test on Aug 30 and am already convinced that it has not worked. We still have 2 frosties, so there is a chance I'll be joining you if I think I can go through it again so soon.

Take care everyone and best of luck for a productive September/October!

Hello Buddies....I'm getting very excited now..typical, I'm either up or down!

Claire. If you want feedback on St Mary's from as many people as possible, try posting the Q. as a new topic on both this and the Pg after tmt boards. That way everyone will read it and hopefully, you'll get lots of info.

Alicia. Why do you think it hasn't worked? Are you (like me) a natural pessimist? It's not uncommon to have no symptoms and no emotional changes from a + tmt. My first and third tmts ended in a + and I felt no differently from tmts 2 and 4. There's no need to answer your question about joining us as you'll be on the other side very soon!!

Jools. Sorry I missed you off my list of buddies  . Won't do it again :(

Natalie. It depends on which drugs you're on. On Puregon I've always started on AF's Day 1.

I started my stimms yesterday so last night , massive sweats - yeuk! You wouldn't think it possible when it's only 6 degrees outside! I'm also blaming the meds for my dream which was one of those frustration dreams when you're trying to do something but can't. Don't laugh too loudly but I'd met George Clooney, got his number, flicked him off then changed my mind. My mobile phone buttons were going wrong and I couldn't press them to call him. His number began 61....if only I can remember the rest!! HAHAHA - I've never dreamt of anyone famous before!

Happy Thursday,
Debra.

Hi Everyone

I'm starting to get really anxious now.... don't know if it's my down drugs or just normal! I'm also getting quite uncomfortable where I injected myself two days ago.... is this normal? I realised about 3 hours after I did my injection that I've probably gone through a vein, as the red dot is right across a nice blue vein that I didn't notice when holding my handful of fat! It also bled on the first night, even though I'd done it in the morning. I'm now worrying about doing my stimming injections..... if I've got to do 10 of them, I'm going to be like a pin cushion! Only a few days to go depending on when AF decides to make an appearance!

Debra - don't worry about missing me off! I'm still getting to grips with who's who and who's doing what! Loving the dream by the way! I'll look forward to them when I start mine in a few days! I'm hoping for Vin Diesels number though

Natalie - I've got to start my stimming injections on day 2 (Gonal F) so I think it probably depends on which drugs you're on.

Alicia - I think you've probably got the same attitude that I'll have..... I won't even let myself get excited in case I get disappointed, but then if it is good news, it'll be even more fantastic! Fingers crossed!

Anyway, keep smiling everyone, love to all!

Jools xx

Jools and Debra,

Thank you so much for helping me regain some PMA. I have always been an optimist, but I've drifted the other way since finding out I was infertile last November. I am committing myself to positive thinking again now and your comments are very helpful.

Also Jools, don't worry too much about the injections. I found that I got more proficient over time and even DH who is afraid of needles became an expert by a few days into it. Sometimes I'd get a sore spot, but I did not even feel the vast majority of the shots.

Ladies....we're on! Our turn in those evil stirrups  And what a lovely way to start, Alicia won't be joining us as she's pregnant! HOORAY! One down, us lot to go!!

Not much to report here, my meds are going ok - Progynova, an aid to thicken the uterine lining. Can't say I've noticed any real side effects although DF says I'm snappier and moodier than usual - LOL! how can he tell???? No sign of George for a few nights.....

Our scan is Friday and fingers crossed the lining will be deep enough for ET to be scheduled for early next week. I'll let you know what they say. I think it needs to be around 7-10mm. The hurdle after that will be waiting to hear if the embies have survived defrosting. We'll only know on the day. We've been through FET twice before and each time both eggs survived defrosting but I'm prepared in case they tell us only one has, I'm not prepared if they tell us neither have.

How are other people doing? Ready? Freaking out? Quietly confident???

take care
Debra.

Jools....hooray! I nearly posted yesterday and suggest sex! It's rumoured to help bring AF on apparently. But you don't need it now

Good luck starting those meds.

September buddy

Post by jill dickens »

Hi am I too late to become a September buddy and am I doing it the right way by posting here? I have been on the spray for 18 days, I had my basal scan today but have not progressed quickly enough so I will be on the spray for an extra week. They also said I had two cysts which they hope will go over the next week. I would love to hear from anyone who is at a similar stage to me. I am doing Egg Donor IVF and will be testing in October. Bye for now Jill x

Jill,

Yes, you are now an official September Cycle Buddy. Welcome!

Good luck to all of you. Yes, I got a BFP yesterday and am thrilled, yet cautiously so. Well, August was a pretty good month on the whole - hope you ladies break the record in September and every one of you gets a BFP!!!

Babydust and good luck to all!!!

Hi Girls! :D

Well I never thought I would be able to post in this thread, but I've just got my next cycle dates and I am going to be a Sept/October cycling buddy!!!!!! So I hope you don't mind if I now join your thread??
I am absolutely over the moon!! I thought I wouldn't be cycling until December as we're having one of our part-funded NHS cycles, so I know we are really lucky to get in early.. So I start down regging on the 20th September, picking up my meds next week!! As you can tell I'm pretty excited!!!

I'm really looking forward to getting to know you all - sorry I am a bit behind you all! Wishing you all so much luck for your cycles and sending lots of PMA! Debra - nice to be a cycle buddy with you again even if I'm going to be a bit behind!!

Alicia - Huge congratulations on your BFP!!!!

Hello Kel! so we cycle again 8) plus DeeDee too I think. I had no idea your dates might change so quickly. You must be thrilled.....Presumably you can still prepare/down reg whilst away on your next trip? Very glad to see you here!

Jools - have a safe flight to lovely Italy. Borrow your SIL's pc now and again and let us know how it's all going. Otherwise we'll just have to be patient to share your good news (PMA PMA PMA!)

hugs
Debra.
