Isabel

I know it's hard, but if you do manage to hold out at least you only have to do the one test and not put yourself through a couple of days of waiting again to see if there is a different result :!:

Good luck with whatever you decide

Hi Debra, The logic of my clinic is 2 weeks after EC. There are 2 blood tests so I guess they measure the differential. It sort of makes sense because conceiving naturally you would take a HPT or similar 2 weeks after Ovulation - and EC is basically ovulation. I would actually probably know earlier since I ovulated 'naturally' on Monday (missing 3 eggs). Once the embryo has implanted your HCG will start rising (also leads to an increase in your body temp).

Also it is nice because the clinic has a portal you can login from home and check your results!

I was actually bad and asked my Dr to write me sick as well for this week - the thought of going into the office is dreadful (I actually already quit)...so plan on going to Vienna and getting the apartment there fixed up and my mind away from thinking about 'is this a symptom or maybe not'....although I am sure I will be thinking about it anyway

Hi Ladies,

Not posted for a while as computer has been playing up!

Day 12 of 2ww and its nearly over, surprising I am still sane but 2nd time round it so much easier. Obviously I have been very anxious especially now test date is looming, it has been so tempting to test early but I have held back from buying a test to avoid temptation!

Feel really bloated, a few cramps, sore boobs and tiredness also had a few unsual sharp pains in my pelvic area these last few days. I had a good day yesterday and convinced myself it had worked however today is a different story. Not sure whether its Monday morning blues but I feel low.

Agreed with my clinic to test at home. Normally they insist we go the the unit with a urine sample but I don't want another audience if the test is returned negative!

Seem to be a few of us on the 2ww now, I have enjoyed catching up on the mails. Best of luck to all of you!!!!

Fingers crossed and PMA to you to get you through the next 2 days.

You've done really well and I hope that you get the answer you so deserve.

Take care of yourself and let us know the result when you can :D
