Im not an expert but surely sex with your husband will be fine after an iui,as the sperm is inserted right into the uterine cavity and if your husband has no sperm his semen will only go into your vagina, its the sperm that swims up into cavity attaching itself to your cervical mucus.
GOD I SOUND LIKE A DOCTOR!!!!
Iv'e been doing this too long!!!
Hope this helps but if your still worried just ask clinic thats what they are there and get paid for!!
I guess ur right! Anyway, I spoke to Dh about condom's he said NO WAY!!!

I will tell you am worried as we are using a donor and if we have sex after insemination, I am worried that dh's semen (he doesn't have sperm only semen) will drown the sperm from the donor, or react with it to prevent a success.
Can you see my delemma, of course I dont want to be with out sex as I thinko during this time we need to have lots of quality closeness but equally I am worried about the mix of dh's semen with the donor's sperm.
There are many question occurs in mind while infertility treatment, the most common question, shall couple restrict themselves from sex while treatment. The one word answer is No.
but in many circumstances intercourse is not advisable or recommended to increase the success of treatment. But you can take advise from you getting your iui treatment or your IUI center from the treatment is going on.

You realize the poster you are replying to has not posted here in almost a decade, so you are just taking a meaningless opportunity to post a link to your business?
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.
I'm not an expert though but whatever I understood about the IUI process - it shouldn't be a problem to have sex in the meantime. It takes only a single sperm and oddly 30 minutes to conceive. So, there's a negligible chance that the semen of your DH can interfere with the donor sperms. Plus, as far as I know, it's the sperm and has only a little or no semen that actually goes past the cervix. Semen are a mixed fluid made to neutralise the acidic pH inside women and somewhat nourish sperms - not sure if it helps in motility. The motility is instead, dependent on the individual sperm's tail. If at all that concerns you a bit abstain from ejaculating inside or perhaps use a condom just for the time being. Sex can still go on and should go if you ask me, Lol! We're also a passionate and sensuous couple and can relate to it - we had to abstain in the 2ww after FETs though - Dr recommended that.

Nahh nothing really happens if you have sex during the 2ww of donor IUI. It'll be hard to say though the genetic link if you happen to conceive over this session without a paternity test. I wish you do get pregnant though and don't have to face another disappointing failed attempt. However, even if your problem exists after this IUI maybe you need to look for better clinical aids. It's important to keep trying and keep moving ahead. Also, the clinic plays a significant role in ensuring success. The Lotus Surrogacy in Ukraine is one with a very good success rate. It's a good option for gestational or traditional surrogacy and with its own pool of surrogates, the wait time is lucratively less.
