blimey 32 eggs, thats fantastic.Seems like we are all doing ok.Im on day 3 of the jabs,my baseline was fine apart from the first signs of endotrimosis, never mind, and a nice cyst on one one ovary but they dont seem concerned as it isnt producing any hormones. So if all goes well and to plan e/c will be on the 25th.God i am dreading the 2ww,this is our 3rd go so i keep remembering what it feels like.Ive decided to go back to work 5 days after e/t as it will go quicker.I work with my dad so thats pretty cool, still im going to make sure i dont over do it.Best of luck everyone
take care all
sammyxxx

Hi Lovely Ladies
Well I went for a scan this morning and I have 16 follicles which they seem happy with. One was 18mm, about 5 were 14mm and the rest were smaller - but they said that they expect some more to grow before retrieval. Anyway am delighted to say that e/c is next Tuesday, 19th at 8.45am. Have to do the HCG injection 1000 on Sunday at 10pm - did this give any of you side effects?
Happy to see that we all seem to be doing pretty well here.
Love
Michelle x

Hi Michelle - all sounds as if its going well for you. Only side effect of the HCG I know of is that you can be a bit tender around the injection area - like a sting or a bite. But really nothing to worry about. Good luck

Alison

hiya ladies,
I had my IUI done yesterday!!!!!! It went well, apart from the fact it took them ages to get my cervix into that speculum thingy, they poked and prodded around for ages, and ive never coughed so much in my life. In the end the nurse had to go and get the doctor to come and have a look, to see if she could do it, but while they were out of the room i had a major coughing fit, and when the nurse looked, it was in the right place!!!! I had a major cramp when they put the catherter needle in, but it went away after a few minutes, and then it was all over. They left me and pat alone for 10 mins, and we were both crying. It was such an emotional experience for both of us, but pat was really great, he held my hand all the way through it, at one point i thought he was gonna break my fingers...lol.
So i test on the 29th of this month, and am now on the dreaded 2ww. Only thing is, i'm not in pain as such, but more very uncomfortable around the bottom of the stomach area. I dont think it's anything to worry about, i think it's more the fact that they really dragged me around yesterday, and am a little sore through that, well i hope that's all it is, anyway. Pat's keeping a very close eye on me. lol.
They gave me the cyclogest pesseries too, one twice a day, and i decided to put them up me bum, instead of vaginally. The clinic said this was okay, so i'm happy.
I'm feeling okay about it all now, it just feels really weird to think that i could potentially be pregnant. i've wanted this for so long, and i never thought we would ever get as far as we have. i just cant believe it. roll on the 29th!!!!
Glad to hear everyone id doing well, hope the et went well for you becky, you deserve it hun. Nicola, 32 eggs!!!! fantastic. Michelle, good luck with your ec hun,and to everyone else, i hope you are all well girls.
Anyways, better get off before this turns into war and peace..lol. Take care all,
loadsa love,
heather
xxx

Hi Heather, pleased to hear you have had your IUI done. I'm not surprised you feel a bit tender with all that prodding and poking around. I had cyclogest pessaries too up the bum - not very pleasant to do it, but they don't make a mess that way.
Get lots of rest and get pat to look after you which he sounds as touugh he is very good at. Take care on your 2ww.
Lots oflove
Louise
XXX

Hi Girlss.well thats it...just the 2ww now..
Had the et this morning..clinic said all 3 embies were still ok..but only going to put 2 back..had a grade 2-3 above average and a grade2 average put back - mean anything? and then the grade 1 below average we donated to the clinic for medical research into the 'hatching' process as we were advised not to freeze as only the 1 and not good quality to thaw out..
so pleased ..can't believe that we have been so lucky to have still ended up with 2 good embies in my belly after only 3 eggs being collected..so girls coming up to ec and scans..don't worry if you have only a few follicles cause you too are still in with a chance - I only had 7 follies/3 eggs/3fertilised and 2 put back!!
Just enjoying the next couple of weeks..enjoying being 'pg' and taking care of my little embies for as long as they decide to stay with me..every day is precious and I am not going to wish the 2ww away...
All my love to you all...good luck with your scan Sammi..
My test date is the 30 November so I am still a November tester!!
Love Becky B

hi all,
Thank you all so much for your messages of support, it really does mean a lot to pat and myself, knowing that we have a fan club wishing us on!!!
The tenderness seems to be easing a little now, thank god, but i now have incredibly sore nipples instead. i've evn had to take my bra off cos it hurts too much to wear it..lol. if it aint one thing, it's another.
Just been reading becky's post, and it seems that i'll be testing the day before you, hun. Tell you what, i'll keep my fingers crossed for you, if you do the same for me..lol. Sammy, hope your scan goes okay on monday, do let us know how you get on, wont you?
well, ive rabbited on for long enough, so i'll get off...take care all, and becky, keep talking to those embies..lol
loadsa love,
Heather xxx

Hi Becky
Lucky you having such a relaxing time. I'm having e/c tomorrow morning and will hopefully have e/t on the 21st or 22nd and will then join you on the 2ww. Today is my last day in the office for 2 weeks and I must say I can't wait to have time off and do nothing like you!
Sleep well.
Love, Michelle x
