Oh BigJ- I am so, so, sorry about the mc ....my heart is with you and DH. I can not describe my feelings right now... I wasn"t going to login but finally got internet access in Vienna. Just took a peak at what is happening and saw your entry. You are an extremely strong woman and will make it through the next couple of months. Let me know if there is anything I can help with researching clinics or anything else.
Taylorjools incase I haven`t expressed my deepest sympathy earlier, I was really sorry to hear about your loss. You are doing the right thing focusing on your next cylce.
I have finally found a clinic I am happy with but need someone to shed light on probably something very straight forward that got lost in translation.
The doctor explained everything very well and at the end promptly produced a pack of the pill, which I was instructed to take for only 21 days. He didn`t then continue with what would happen after the 21 days or at least I don`t think he did and although I am due to see him again soon can anyone explain the protocol. I am assuming I wait for af and then start down regging. I can`t seem to find anything about the use of the pill in Zita`s book?
Thanks

Hi Daisy - I am not sure about the BCP....I do not have to take them but I think alot of woman do take them prior to downregging. I would suggest calling or visiting the clinic and having them write down your protocol. I live in Germany and don't always understand what is going on...but I ask them like 3 times (they seriously think I am an idiot) and then anything dealing with drugs, times, appointments....I ask them to write it down.
It is important to make sure you understand your protocol (when to take what when) .
thank you Daisy and Tracii for your kind words. Just so you know they DO really help and make a difference, so thanks. We are trying to focus on the fact that I DID get pregnant and unless tests show otherwise it was most likely a natural event that many women go through before having a healthy baby.
We have found (thanks to my mean mission mode "MMM" ) that the clinic in Kiel University (just 40km from us) DO believe in uNKC and also do blood flow tests. They were wonderful on the phone, and have made us an extra fast appointment because of our circumstances.
Daisy - we are thinking of changing clinics from Barcelona to Marbella, a clinic called CERAM who run an excellent donor programme, funny that, lucky you living there
Tracii - Interesting about the acupuncture, I think I'll do some research here about that too. Nice to hear you so positive sweetie.
Lots of love to all September buddies

HI TAYLORJOOLS Now I really really really don`t want to put you off but I live down the road from CERAM and that was the place I first visited and was not overly impressed.
I really had my hopes set on this place because it is so near to home and he works with my insurance so we could have saved a lot of the costs but my gut instinct told me no for various reasons. It wasn`t at all what I was expecting and I found it a little unprofessional, a little dingy and Hugo the gyny who will treat you was not too free flowing with the information and the crunch came when he told me that taking vitamins was a waste of time!! Also it was very small ie him, the embriologist and a couple of othersit was like visiting a one doctor surgery and I was definitely expecting something bigger and more modern. Now that might just be my impression because I was very nervous as it was the first clinic I visited.
I have consequently found what I think is a fantastic clinic www.centrogutenberg.com. I don`t know what the donor egg programme is but if it isn`t on the internet let me know and I will give you tel nos etc (they all speak english).
As I said I don`t want to put you off as one man`s meat is another man`s poison etc etc etc.
If you do choose CERAM or any other centre in Malaga please remember I`m always here to lend a hand if you want

I've just read your posts about the future and wanted to wish you the very best of luck.

Just to let you know ladies, it doesn't look like I will be a September buddy after all. Clinic won't let me start sniffing until DH has had TESA and, as yet they don't know September date. Probably third week, so I shall have to start an October thread!
On the positive side he told us last years figures showed 53% pregnancy rate for vasectomies, which is great and much higher than I ever thought possible. THEN DH took vitamins this morning and has quartered his coffee intake. He started a diet last week. Think I might faint!
Hi September buddies - just in for a quick hello. Just had hols in Portugal - very lovely but drank too much and am now going on the wagon and getting ready for September. Back to acu tomorrow and I have a new tea...not as bad as the first chinese medicine (tastes much better).
Bringing September back to the top - hope you are all ok

Hi Julesg, I am still here but not on the board as much (but more then planned ). I am still on schedule to start sniffing 4 September (very good timing cuz my clinic's first day back from a 1 month holiday!)...I am feeling really good about this next go...could be the acunpuncture!
Glad to see you are still popping in occasionally Traci, we miss you! I am also pleased that you are feeling great and ready for your next treatment. Good for you. Hope you are enjoying your break and exploring your new surrounds. Have a great time.
Cheers

Hi Julie! Glad to have another buddy in September (and August)
I too am getting impatient to start...I would love to do August but my clinic is closed...but atleast everyone will be refreshed and bright eyed after their hols!!
I was wondering whether I could join you? We're starting IVF (for the first time) and our clinic has said we can start in the Autumn which I'm hoping will be Sept/Oct. We are seeing them in Aug to go through everything. If it's not Sept I will let you know and join another month!
I have to find out how the ticker thingys work, where to I do that?
I am excited about it all but am probably more concerned with the emotional side of it rather than the physical. Is that true?
I'm really being good; healthy diet, not much alcohol (honest), having acupuncture and trying to stay happy, happy, happy!
