Yep Girls
i know what you mean about jobs and career.
I changed mine 10 years ago, retrained and now love my job. It is stressful taking a leap to change career or your job. But sometimes a change is better than a break. It's only when you get so fed up and P'd off that it motivates you to change. Maybe thats what your building up to ?
Nicki-as for wanting for a baby first I did the same for a while but eneded up waiting every month for a BFP and got a BFN. It wasn't until I finished training, changed job and began to enjoy my job that I got preg... twice, and naturally.
What job would you like to do?
Gail- I especially liked the bit about crystal ball gazing Where do you get a diploma in that ? that would save so much emotions and money. If only...
Good luck whatever you decide in the job front. If you want you can try this:-
list the pros (likes) and cons (dislikes) of your job separatlyon a bit of paper. If the pros lis is longer...stay a while. If the cons is a longer list... then it's time to move. Simple but proactive.
Eskavon- jag once said that she does an AF jig to get things started. I am trying it out. Do ya want to join in?
I just want to know what my FSH and E2 leels are so I know where I am at.
As for stress @ work:
At the moment I am on 6mths leave, (my work were okay about taking that time off but no holiday pay). I just felt so whacked going through the IVF that I needed a break. I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in April this year and know when my body needs a break. If I don't take one I end up really ill. I am so glad I did.
And now...am just taking each day to get myself stress free. Hense I remind you that it's only 9 days to my H-O-L-I-D-A-Y.. LOL
Sorry i had to get that in...it's the only thing that's keeping me going at the moment.
Have you noticed that the postman never brings you what youre waiting for
I'm trying to do lots of good things like the right food, moderate exercise, given up smoking and have booked some acu, doing bbt charts again.

eskavon-AF Jig- it's a dance Jag told me to do to bring it on. No direct moves just go with the flow....like belly dancing...connecting to that area of your body...feel the flow of postitive energy and connect to your womanly sexy inner/outer self. Jump about and get Jiggy with it.
Been doing it for the past 5 days 10 minutes at a time...and guess what ...I have cramps!!!! bring it on!!!
indiana-hey girl big hugs to you.... What you are doing is great but for your body to re-adjust to good eating and exercise it takes time. You know focusing on the negative always doesn't help. It just depresses your mind and body. It's the old story a watching kettle never boils, the postman never deliversletters when your waiting for a big cheque...the more you focus your attention on why? the worse it gets.
Focus on WHAT YOU HAVE DONE!!! Giving up smoking is such a hard one...WELL DONE YOU....and everything else you are doing will filter through...you have time at 32yrs old...give yourself a pat on the back and enjoy the benefits of eating healthily and not smoking...You day will come soon.HONEST.
Keep doing what you enjoy...take 1 day at a time and before you know it you'll be at a 2ww. Loving hugs....
Smita-thank you for your PMA. It really helps. Can I ask you to pop the odd PMA saying on the daily thoughts page when I am away on hols?....PLEASE...PRETTY PLEASE...willbe back on the 14th Oct...
Gail- Glad to hear that you are ready to go back to work...Time will fly when your back at work and it won't be too long until your body has rested enough for FET.
Nicola-how's big bad boss this week? still a nightmare? Thinking of you.

jenny (DAVIDSON) welcome to the site...good to have you on board...just pitch in when and where you like...let us know how you are getting on during the waiting time until 2006.
Hey Indiana that's more like it. Please post anything you like on the thread Daily positive thoughts...including all the positive things you've done to stop smoking and all that healthy eating. The healthy body healthy minds is a good thread too.
eskavon- Yeah who cares what you look like...getting Jiggy with it is fun. I am still cramping but no show yet.
i have only 3 more days until mega holiday..I am leaving at 2.30pm from (Scottish ferry) at Rosyth to Zeebrugger...Everything is packed just have leg waxing appointment then I am on my way.
How long are you away in ALgarve for? Are we coming back at the same time ...brown as wee berry's with all that beautiful sunshine? by the way i was looking at sandra's photo site and saw a stunning photo of you on a horse...Is he /she yours? Beautiful...(horse and You ).
Saw a thread from Yvee she's taking some time out. Wishing her loads of Fun relaxing times before she starts again.
I will manage to post right up until Sat morning. So I'll speak to you girls later in the week.
Ah Jen - thats just too kind yes the horse is/was mine. We had to sell him in february this year to pay for the ivf but we miss him every day. He's a gentle giant called Major. He's gone to a lovely home and looks great but its still not the same. But nevermind, I'd rather have a baby than a horse and unfortunately the two don't go together.
We're in the algarve for just a week, back on the 8th Oct so I think we'll be back around the same time. The pair of us showing off our tans at the same time
Have fun!
xx
i never had af much. untill after ivf!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
but my doc put me on the pill and that helped with getting my periods going.
and i am glad that you are all dancing..
dance away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
we werent blessed with our babies to raise here but we our blessed with our grandaughter
and all of our many adopted and foster children that touch our lives
and i am glad to add that our 6th grandchild will be born this spring!!!!
Paula - I called the hospital and they will not prescribe me any bc pills. They want me to see consultant first on the 14th OCT.
Eskavon- Love that you called Major a gentle giant... How long did you have the beautiful fella?
You are right though, when you get preggers you won't be able to ride. And the hormones would have made it all the more difficult to sell him on.Do you still manage to see him with his new owner?
I love horses though I am highly allergic. I spent 4 years from 12-16 mega allergied with sneezing and hives when I went horse riding. Broke my arm and dislocated shoulder and that didn't even put me off. It was my 1st boyfriend that made me give up horse riding. Adfam and I are hoping to have a days trek in Italy. I have stocked up on antihistamines for the trip.
I am having a tearful crying day today...I have had cramps for the last 4 days and still no AF. Today they have stopped, I feel really empty and feel that it is all back to square 1 ( don't want to give TMI but changes in mucus levels have corresponded to that time of the month and now they are back to an after AF sorry if too much Info )
My darling DF is so supportive and says that all is not lost even if I never get an AF again. Feel that I am so lucky to have such a supportive man. But gosh it's hard with days like this to keep PMA going.
We have decided to go out for lunch and take a rest from sorting out packing up the motorhome for our mega month away.
Hope that all this emotional stuff is PMT and that AF will arrive soon . I am so used to being 26,28, 29 days cycle that it seems a nightmare to wait.
But hope that when we go away the rest and Relaxation will bring it on. Too tired to-day to do AF jig...but will try again tomorrow.
Nicki,Kangome. gail.ellie Indiana, and Davidson.
Big Limbo hugs to you all...keep jigging...
Love
jen

Oh Jeni poor you - life is a pig sometimes - hope AF arrives soon. See the daily positive thoughts for something to make you smile .
We had Major 4 years and he was my fourth horse, poor you being allergic to them and such injuries. Although a dislocated shoulder and broken collar bone are typical horse rider injuries. DH dislocated his shoulder and broke his wrist - luckily all I've endured is a broken toe when he stood on my foot
Hope you've had a better afternoon and quality time with DF. Just think a whole month away .... such relaxation
Take care my dear xx
