Hi everyone
Smita - The 'What to expect the first year' is the book I would recommend as well. Its so easy to look things up in. I have got some other books. They are ok, but I dont read as much as I used to when I was pregnant, so havent read too much of them yet. I find a lot of info in parenting magazines and on the internet.
www.babycentre.co.uk is the website I use a lot. I think its easier to just dip in and out of magazines/the internet nowadays!
Jenna is doing great. I could just sit and cuddle or stare at her all the time, then have to remind myself I have to do SOME housework while she sleeps! She is smiling more now and cooing at us.
How are you doing with sleeping yourself? Its difficult when you are breastfeeding yourself isnt it, to get any rest, because you always have to be available for feeds! I used to go to bed and DH would keep her entertained downstairs, then bring her up for feeds. Even though it could be every hour (especially on an evening!), I did manage to sleep inbetween. I have started expressing milk now, so DH can bottle feed sometimes as well.
Minnow - Jenna is having her first vaccinations on Friday. I hope shes ok with it! Good to hear Ned has slept through. Hope it continues for you!
Look forward to seeing your pics when you post them.
Hi to everyone else. Hope you are all getting plenty of rest and sleep when you can, inbetween enjoying your beautiful babies.
Take care
Love Kim
