Hi KB- Level II is just an anomoly scan. They look at all the organs of the baby(ies) to check for defects. I believe everyone has one whether you are having a single or multiples. It is the same as any other sonogram just more in depth.

AFM, I have been having lots of pain. They tell me its round ligament pain, but who knows. Its mostly on my left and comes and goes. Doesn't matter if I move, sit or lay down. Nothing makes its worse or better and it really stinks. I have had it twice so far and both times when I was taking amoxicillin. They said it is just a coincidence but I really wonder. Anyway the baby is fine and quite active. I feel him moving around everyday and getting stronger. I can't wait until my daughter and dh can feel him move! I am almost 23 weeks now so I hope its not much longer before the outside world can feel him move. Hope everyone else is doing well.

Hi all, hope everyone is feeling good. I had another u/s yesterday and is always good to see our baby girl. She was quite active too. They could hardly get any pictures of her because she was wiggling around so much!

Lyly, you're coming right along! I've also started feeling some movement lately. It's not strong, but I'm pretty certain it's her. That will be neat to share that feeling with your DH and DD. I can't wait for my hubby to be able to see it. Sorry you're still dealing with the round ligament pain. Does it go away after you quit taking the amoxicillin?

KB, good to hear from you and hope Bridget has been doing well. I also went for the level 2 u/s and go for another in April. I think they are watching me closely due to the IVF, past history, and recent amnio. Things are good though. Are you still renovating?

Tigersuz, so it seems you're showing now? Me too, finally! I'm still wearing my clothes and using elastic hair bands to fasten my pants that are a little snug. :D I'm seriously going to need some new clothes soon though. Glad you can let your guard down now and enjoy the pregnancy. Have you bought any maternity or baby clothes yet? What about nursery furniture?

Doddo, congratulations on your baby girl! That's a really pretty name. "Hope" seems very significant for us huh? How exciting!

Marina, I also see our baby girl moving around like crazy on the u/s but don't really feel all of it. I guess as they get bigger, the sensations get stronger. It's still such a surreal feeling though, even if it's just flutters here and there. Glad your big u/s went well and that everything looks good. And it sounds like they're really watching the cord issue closely so shouldn't be any problems there.

Hi Elida, so good to hear from you. It's been awhile! How did your scan go today? DH and I are going to a baby expo next weekend, and then to Raleigh in a few more weekends to shop for furniture. You are on the ball if you've already gotten your furniture and registered. I guess you have to be with your 3 girls on the way!

Hello Ladies,

The Scan went great yesterday, The girls all have everything exactly where they are suppose to be and are now 10 oz each. Our little Angelina who is lying low just above the cervix is being laid on by her sisters but the doc said she has pleanty of room for right now anyway.. Alexa was so cute, she reached her arm over her head and let out a big yawn. DH smiled from ear to ear. So cute!!!

I then had my peri appt this morning, I had a liver enzyme test done which I was nervous about since I was itching so bad, but that came back perfect too. The appts as of now are every 2 wks with a sono every visit. However in 4 wks they will be doing a 3D U/S. that I am looking forward too.

Now DH and I can go on Vacation in the morning and relax knowing our little ladies are doing fine and growing just as they should.

I am feeling all of them move a few times a day, but I think I am feeling them since they are all packed in there and I am as big as a 8 month singleton.

I am glad to see that everyone is doing well and all the little ones are nice and cozy and just waiting to make their debute.

Have a Great weekend ladies

Elida- Glad to hear you are doing well. Wow 3 girls, you will definitely have your hands full. I know someone else from another site that had triplet girls. That are absolutely beautiful.

I hope everyone else is doing well around here. It has been so quiet. I hope everyone is just busy and doing well. I can't believe I will be 24 weeks tomorrow. I am still nervous and worried. People keep asking if I have a baby registry but I am too afraid to go down and do one. I feel like it will be bad luck. The baby's room still needs to be cleaned out (since it is being used for storage right now) and painted, but I am too chicken to do anything. Anyone else feel the same way? :?: My cousin wants to throw me a baby shower in May, so I know I need to go register soon. I will most likely have the baby mid to end of June, despite the fact that my due date is July 1st because the doctors wont let me go until 40 weeks.

Hi Lyly!
I've been the same way - I'm 20 weeks and though I started a registry, I did it online and just add things here and there. I haven't bought ANYTHING. I'm terrified to bring something into the house and jinx it. And even though I'm 20 weeks, we're not finding out the sex for 2 more weeks due to my doctor's schedule so we've been wanting to postpone buying anything until we know.

It's tough - I'm finally to the point where I feel good and can enjoy being pregnant - but I spend so much time worrying and I just want July to be here and the baby to be born so I don't have to worry about losing it in utero... but once the baby is born, I won't stop worrying for the rest of my life :) so I really can't win!

I hope everyone is doing well! I can't believe how far we've all come... just a few more months and we'll all be mommies!

Hi Elida, it's good to hear from you! Glad your scan went well and your peri appt too. The 3D u/s will be nice. When we went for our last one, our baby girl was so active we couldn't see much of her. I'm hoping we'll see a little more at my next one in April. So how did you come up with your names? DH and I are having a hard time picking one. Any tips?

Wow Lyly, 24 weeks already! I guess I'm not too far behind you. The 3rd trimester begins huh? I've also been nervous to register, but finally decided to go with a couple of girlfriends this weekend. I think it will be fun to finally start looking at some things. DH is also working on some renovations in the nursery and it was scary at first, but I guess I finally started to put aside some of the anxiety and try to enjoy it. I hope you can start feeling more at ease too so you can register and not feel like it's bad luck. Have you started looking at cribs or anything yet?

Tigersuz, I didn't realize you didn't know the sex yet. I bet you're excited for your next appt in 2 weeks! I think a lot of us are worriers. Unfortunately, I inherited the worry gene from my mom, and since I've been pregnant it's only gotten worse. I just started trying to let some of my fears go so I could enjoy the experience. It's hard when we've all been through so much to get here, so I can understand your stress. But you're right, we'll all be mommies in just a few months!

Hi to everyone else, hope you're all feeling good and getting ready for a relaxing weekend.

Hello Ladies:

DH and I just got back from vacation. I might add it was a nice relaxing time in the sun with nothing planned except to relax.

However Thursday I awoke with a small clot and ran to the bathroom to release a large clot. I called Peri and was instructed to go right to the ER. We went and they heard all 3 heart beats nice and strong and then did a sonogram. The peri said that everything looked great. OH he also did a 4D sono. OMG, seeing their little faces was nothing less then amazing. he said that all the walking we did could have caused , the placentas looked fine, and my Cervix was 3.8cm, which he said is great for someone carrying 1 baby and amazing for someone carrying 3.

I was told to relax and stay off my feet, which I did and am now home and feeling wonderful, but tired.

DH and I agreed right awy on their names. However Angelina is the baby we thought in the beginning we were going to lose. When we knew she was strong and a fighter we decided to name her after my DH Mother and also so she would always know that she was our strong little angel that we would not let go..

I shall write PM later, we are off to dinner for my DD 22nd Birthday.

Much baby dust

Hi girls,
I have decided to go and register this coming weekend. I will be a little over 25 weeks then. I already have a crib. My cousin gave me her son's crib this past weekend since she moved him into a toddler bed a few months ago. I kept pushing her off because I didn't want it in the house just yet, but she got tired of it sitting around her house, so I finally gave in. Dh and I decided on a crib set and theme for the room last night. I am getting so excited but I still can't knock this nervous feeling! I go back to the ob tomorrow so I will know more then. Hope everyone else is feeling good and babies are doing well.

Marina- How have you been? I hope all is ok with you!

Hi everyone!
How have you all been feeling? I've been doing well. Can feel the baby kick really strongly now - it used to be just pops until this past week and now it feels like there's an animal in there! We find out what we're having on Friday - I can't wait. I'm really impatient and both my husband and I are just overwhelmed with excitement.

Lyly - good luck registering! I started our registry piece by piece online. I was totally overwhelmed when I went into the store - I had no idea what anything was or why I needed it or how to use it. So online was much less stressful :) And I'm still nervous all of the time - but I have to convince myself that I'm getting to the safe part and it'll be okay.

Much Hope - How are you feeling? Is everything okay? I'mn so glad to hear that all of the babies are doing well. Was the 4D fantastic? I want to get one but my OB doesn't do them so I have to find a specialist. I don't know when to go, though - now or wait until the baby is bigger?

Wonderce- How's the nursery coming?? Have you found any good deals on furniture? We have a general idea of what we're looking for but I'm trying to find deals like crazy.

Hope everyone is doing well!

Hi Suzanne, glad to hear you're feeling well. I know what you mean about feeling the kicks. It's the neatest thing, and now I can see the movements in my belly when she's really feisty! I know you must be getting excited about Friday. Keep us posted! As for the nursery, DH has almost finished everything except putting up the closet doors and some final touch ups on the paint. We're still planning to look at furniture in Raleigh in a few weeks. I'm all for finding good deals too.

Lyly, I went to register last weekend and it was so much fun! I was a little overwhelmed though at all of the things we need. Two of my girlfriends went with me and they both have little ones so it was really helpful. I know you must be glad you finally have the crib set and theme picked out. One less decision to make! I'm ready to get our crib and furniture pieces so I can start decorating around it.

Elida, your vacation sounded fun! Although I know the clot must have scared you a bit. I'm glad to hear that everything was fine with your girls. Hope you're still taking it easy, although if you're like me, it's hard to do because there is so much to plan!

Hi to everyone else and hope everyone is feeling good. It's so hard to believe the 3rd trimester is right around the corner, or already happening for some.

Hi Wonderce, Suzanne,

Thanks for asking, yes thegirls are fine... It is very hard to stay of your feet, but I know what is best for me and the irls so I do.

The 4D US is best if done around 26 to 28 weeks. you can look up 4D babies, I have seen them advertised.

I am off to take a nap.

Stay well ladies

Hi everyone!
Hopefully you can appreciate this... we finally went in for our 20 week scan last Friday (even though I was well over 21 weeks) and after waiting an hour for the OB, and another 30 minutes for the U/S tech had this amazing ultrasound - the baby is already over a pound, beautiful, big, kicking and hitting like crazy and all systems are a go.

THEN - once we went to look between the legs for the gender (after about 30 minutes of U/S), the baby snapped it's legs together, curled up in a ball, and SHOW OVER! We have been DYING to find out what we're having... and the baby decided that it wasn't meant to be.

So we're going in this Thursday for another look. Any words of advice to get my baby up and moving??? The U/S tech seemed unwilling to try to move my belly so the baby would move - she was pretty much just ready to go home for the day - so any advice would be great. I thought this would be the easiest part!!!

Hope you're all doing well... not much longer now!

Morning Suzanne:

Try dringing OJ before the scan, the citric acid is suppose to wake them up. I know I have done it and it made it difficult for the tech to take the measurments since the girls were just moving away. I am actually on my way right now for my peri appt and another US. Tech told me to keep them calm so she can get better measurements. However I love seeing them move, but I obeyed!!!

Talk later

Hi everyone!
Well, we found out (finally) this morning that we're having a girl!! She didn't want to cooperate - knees locked together but kicking her little legs - but after about 30 minutes of me shifting sides and startling her a little bit with the ultrasound device, we finally were able to tell.

The OJ was a great idea - thanks, Elida! Normally, she's not active at all in the morning so that definitely made a difference.

Hope everyone is great and feeling well! 4 months to go!

Tigersuz, congratulations on your baby girl! So had you already started decorating or were you waiting to find out? Any names yet? I'm still struggling with picking a name and DH is wanting to wait until closer to the due date. I guess we'll have to make a decision eventually!

Elida, how did your peri appt and u/s go last week? I don't get another u/s until April but looking forward to it! I did have a monthly OB appt yesterday though and at least got to hear her heartbeat.

Hope everyone else is doing well and counting down the days!
