Katie - from the information you have then the donor doesn't sound bad. I don't know much about endo so can't really comment . I'm am also laughing at their "high standards of freezing".. If they are so high, why are they freezing 3 day embies and 4 - cell 3 day embies at that.? 4 cells hardly ever make it to a baby. I won't say they don't but it isn't very likely. most clinics won't freeze until day 5 or 6. Well the 4-cell embies could account to why 3 didn't make it to blasts. its funny how some clinics are so different. I would be iffy on spending any more money with this batch, unless the ones that are froze or at least 6+ cells. YKWIM.. Isn't it crazy how we have to question the Drs.. We know way too much.

Chris - You crack me up! It is bizarre to me how each clinic is so different and has such different theories. I had asked him why they choose to freeze on day 3 instead of day 5 and he said that they believe that at 3 days its a simpler structure and therefore less damage can occur at thawing. You know like 8 cells arent finished dividing yet so they feel that 80+ cells at blast stage have more more for cellular damage. I dont know if I agree with that. I've already asked him what the last 5 look like and they are all between 6 & 8 cells. Thats something else, I know that this man cringes to get on the phone with me because I'm so full of questions all the time. I told him about this new thing that Franny's RE is trying, the intrauterine hcg before transfer injection - he hadnt heard of it before, but said its interesting. IF all my tests come back normal and we're back at square one I'm going to push him to try it also. It couldnt hurt, and it may help. I found a link to the study done on another forum and that woman was successful with it. Anyway it said that the untreated group had a 51% implantation rate while the treated group had a 76% implantation rate. Its pretty impressive. But I'm hoping they find something with my test results - hopefully something easy to treat, lol. And yes, we know waaaay too much on this subject, lol.

Hi everyone!! I'm just hopping on here with a quick update. I'm sorry I don't have time to chime in on all the new talk today (trust me I am here for you Katie!! xoxoxo)

Last night I couldn't sleep. I've been up since 4:30am staring at my ceiling listening to Piper snoring. I don't know why I couldn't shut my brain off, but I was anxious for my appointment today.
Intralipids went off without any problems. It was very easy, and I have had no side effects. My arm is just a little bruised and sore from the IV. The clinic was running behind so I ended up being there forever. I had to be there at 10am and didn't leave until almost 2pm!! Then I had to speed to work, and I am just getting home now. It's been a very long day, and I'm beat.

I had my lining check and it is a 12 with a triple stripe!!!! :D :D
So we are a go for a transfer on Wednesday!! Yippie!!! We go in at 9:30am with the transfer time set for 10am, and then I have my acupuncture scheduled for right after. They just come and get me, and bring me upstairs to the healing center.

I did get a little big more information on the HCG intrauterine thingy. The nurse looked at me like I was crazy for asking about it because I was the one who wanted it in the first place, and I have no idea what I was asking for. haha. So I thought it was just taking the trigger shot the day of the transfer, but it turns out that they actually just mix the meds, and then right before the transfer they inject it through the catheter into my uterus. They called it a HCG wash. We'll see what happens I guess. Desperate times call for random measures.
I start my PIO tomorrow, and my vag pills (I love calling them that cause it makes Barry look all concerned! haha)

So it's been a very long, but a very good day. I have to be back to work at 7am tomorrow, and am working like crazy until Wednesday so I can take the days I need off. Fun Fun Fun!!!

xoxo to everyone who's reading this!
Much love always! :D

Way to go Franny!! Your lining is fantastic!! Exactly as good as it gets. Glad to hear your intralipids well easy, now roll on Wed!! Its a good thing that you'll be keeping so busy until FET day too, it helps to pass the time faster. Now if there were only something to make the dreaded 2ww pass faster.. I am so intrigued by this HCG wash. I mentioned it to the RE during my f/u call and I'd love to hear every thing about it. I found the link to the study it came from and implantation went from 51% to 76%!! If all my tests come back with nothing and we decide to dive in again, I'm going to ask for this too. Do you know how many units he's going to use? if you remember can you ask? UGH, as for my day at Labcorp, they sent me home because they couldnt start me when they'd be closing in an hour. I asked if they could just do the APA bloodraw and was told that they cant "break up the script". So now that I know it's going to take 3hrs  I'll have to go Thurs. so Chris can watch Ryan. I also heard that they'll be sticking me 5 times during this GTT AND taking 10ml blood for the antibody test. Is this what you all went through for these tests? 6 sticks in a day sounds all umm, well, Owwie.
I dont mind when the students draw me, but for this I may have to ask for someone else  I'm excited for you Franny, this cycle is going great for you!!!! I'll try to add that link before I forget again - much love - xoxo

Katie I never had the tests done, I just did a bunch of research and found that most people with severe endo like me are found to have NK cells. Since I've done everything else I could possibly think of I decided to skip all the tests since they are pretty expensive, and just go for the intralipids that cost less then the actual blood work. Obviously I've completely lost my mind, and will do anything that I read online. My new clinic is really cool when it comes to trying new protocols, and have basically said yes to everything I have asked for. If this was my old clinic...forget...they would've laughed at me and said no.
I hope you are doing ok sweetie. xoxoxo

AFM I am sooo sore! Only 2 shots in, and my butt is soooo sore. They also put me on prometrium this time, and I have to take it 3 times a day. I'm going to be so embarrassed going to ET on Wednesday because I'm such a gooey mess down there! :?
Other then that I've just been working all weekend. Is it Wednesday yet? I think at this point I'm just excited to get a day off, and have Barry take care of me. Of course I'm starting to worry about how my lil embies will thaw on Wednesday. It's always something keeping me totally crazy!!
Much love always! :)

Franny - I was told that the day of ET (both fresh and FET - and I've always done just the suppositories) that I should NOT put the progesterone suppository in before the transfer - that I should either take it rectally (instead of vaginally) or just wait and take it after transfer. (FTR - I've waited to take it after instead of the "rectal option" :D )

Good luck! Hopefully I'm right behind you!

Leora Thanks for the advice! I think I'm going to wait until after the transfer and take it when I get home. There is NO way I'm going to take it rectally!! hahaha it's bad enough as it is!

It will totally keep me busy haha
I manage a Marriott hotel. I love it most of the time, but the fact that we never close and I have to depend on other people to be trusted to show up to work in order for me to go home can make it very challenging.
This is the reason why I told my staff that I will "be out of the area, and unavailable" tomorrow! hahaha hopefully they will leave me alone so I can relax.
