hello

Post by Leanne »

Hi ladies

Just popped over to June / July thread although I have been a quiet member of the Mayflowers. If all goes to plan I am due to test 1st July. Not def. yet because going for blastocyst method and not 100% on ET day, this is date we have been given for now. Anybody else be on the 2 ww with me? Sorry, I haven't got strong enough eyes to read the last 20 pages, my eyes go blurred and I just want to sleep when I go on the computer :?

Hope you are all doing well and treatment being kind to you. I am sniffing at mo. had a few "mad" moments but calmed down now, I hope!
I am due to start injections on June 2nd.

Bye for now x

Hey JuJus,
We had our protocol review yesterday and my dh is very seriously talking about just banking embryos again! UGH! No matter how many we get. The nurse was very cautious and reminded us that a fresh transfer is always the best. She even flat out said, you guys are "gambling" And I said, I know. We are being greedy. But this is what my dh wants and I promised we would do it his way, since I already have children from a previous marriage.

Well, the good news is that we ordered the drugs! Feels like a giant leap forward! Also, my suppression check is Monday morning, so there's another step forward. I just have to get used to the idea of doing a freeze all instead of a transfer like I was thinking. So I probably won't be testing in June after all.

I'll keep you posted.

Randa

Well, things are starting to move forwards for you - it's so nice to know that you have made a move in the right direction isn't it?

I hope that everything goes smoothly and positively for you.

Big hugs and huge amounts of PMA

Hi Everyone
Hope everyone is doing well as I dont have the time to catch up properly at the moment.

I just had my hysteroscopy and it went well,I am a bit sore as I also had a cyst removed at the same time. Amazing news is that my remaining tube is now no longer blocked and there should be no reason why we can'y conceive naturally!!! I was stunned. We are still going for the next round of ivf though due to the high levels of NK cells etc but it is good to know there is a tiny tiny chance we could do it on our own!

Hope you are all having a good weekend I am off to lie down now as I still feel woozy from the op.

Hey LittleP,
Thanks for always being so supportive of everyone! You are one of the rocks that keep this board alive.
I haven't been keeping up very well (too much other stuff going on in my life right now). What is your next step?

Ellie,
So glad you got that out of the way. And congratulations on finding out your tube isn't blocked now!!! I hope you surprise us all, as Minnow did recently, and get pregant naturally (if there's a chance of it before your cycle). When do you start your drugs?

Lumi,
Self-injecting! You are a true grown-up. My life would have to depend on it before I could do that. So glad you are strong. When is your EC?

It is final that we are doing a freeze-all. It will happen roughly on June 7. I feel better about it today after talking it over with the doc. He feels our logic is sound. My dh also wants to try naturally for 2 months in between this cycle and the next. We never really gave it a shot before due to my age. Guess we'll see if my tube re-connecting worked. I don't hold out ANY hope of getting pg this way. I feel all we are doing is delaying things (and letting me get even older in the process). Oh well! If we ever do get pg he wants to feel like we at least gave natural an honest try.

I think I will insist that we run dye through my tubes to make sure they are even still open. The surgery to reconnect was a year and a half ago! Scar tissue could have caused blockage by now.

Anyway, that's my update. Injections roll on Wednesday! Here we go again! :D

Thanks Becky. That is inspiring to know and helps me a great deal. FET does work. :D I have to remember that. It's just that at my age, those poor little eggs/embryos need all the help they can get. And all the docs and nurses say that surviving the thaw is no small consideration. :(

Looks like you'll be having loads of practice and fun over the next couple of months - oh I do hope that you have a welcome surprise from it :D (Just think of Minnow :!: )

I wish you so much luck, hugs and PMA.

My next step is waiting for AF, then a scan and then hopefully if the scan goes ok then start the stimming injections. I just hope and pray everything goes well :!: :D

How are you feeling about everything - are you ok?

I usually have a longish cycle, but because of my hysteroscopy it could be early, so maybe Friday onwards ..... knowing my luck it'll be later than usual just to be different

I know it's a pain having to wait, but have a fun 2 months :D

Hi! Dont worry about a delay - in the grand scale of all things I am sure it won't make a difference and you just never know - make the most of the two months and think about those little frosties. I am having a FET - due to OHSS I haven't done a fresh transfer.
