Sandra, are you back from docs yet, hope everythings OK.
Big J, my clinic told me today that if I get a positive result I have to keep using the pessaries until I'm 12 weeks pg, so you better get used to them!
Nicki, surely watching football will make the 2ww even longer. I can only watch England matches, the rest I dont see the point of!

Hi Susie

yeh I know, if I get +ve I've got to use double the dose (so that's 3x2 a day) and they are really tiny so hard to get a grip on if you know what I mean  I also have to slap on 2 Oestrogen patches but lucky they are OK...still wont it be alovely problem to have

Oh thanks girls ... you've cheered me up just reading your posts ..!

I've seen the nurse down at the GPs. She's been through IVF herself and totally understood everything we said. She said that a little thrush will do no harm to a pregnancy/potential pregnancy, and in fact could be a good sign (Traci !). As it's not causing me great discomfort - but rather just there - she advised it was left alone until we do the test on Friday. I can go with that. She was also quite sure that we should not test early .. test day is test day .. I'm so glad I saw her. She wants to see me on Monday re the result, to make sure we're alright. I've got to say she had more compassion than any of the nurses at the hospital. I've been drinking the cranberry this afternoon Little P, and am going to slip a little yoghurt down there.

Julie - They are lovely. I'm so lucky to have a good GP practice. Hope you are both okay and bearing up ..

Susie - Friday !! That's so close, it must have been a shock... OMG !! Yes - 2 BFPs on Friday it is then !!

Maci .. Thanks for your post and info. As above, I will just try the juice and yoghurt - for now anyway. I think just speaking to a nurse who seemed to care, really helped.

BJ - Oh, you and your posts ! Why has the oestrogen not had that effect on me then ?? My bra does feel a bit tight, but that's about all.... That's so not fair !

Welcome to the 2ww Nicola ...!!!! Hoorrrraaahhh !!

Eskavon, how are you today ? (I haven't read up on all the other posts yet, so I might find you ??)

Suz ... You're getting close to that test day now Suz .. Anything to report ??

How's everyone else today ..???

Sandra

Phew - what a relief, I am so glad that you have been able to talk to somebody who actually understands and can be sympathetic as well :D

Now, take good care of yourself and the wee little person and get plenty of rest - 2 more sleeps.

PMA and hugs

Little P

Thanks Girls ..!!!

No, Nicola - my hospital has changed its protocol since my last cycle. I only have to do a hpt, then if it's +ve go in for a scan in 3 weeks. Rubbish eh ?

Sandra - I have tears in my eyes laughing about...'I am going to slip a little yogurt down there'. I swear if anyone outside the IVF world read this stuff! Do you all think we would be so open sitting around a table? I think you guys would make great dinner party guests!! Geez the stories we could share! There is always the question..if you could invite 5 people to do who would it be? I would say - representing the entire 5, my IVF group! :D :D :D
