Hi girls,

Hope you are all looking after yourselves well.
Update on Donna - officially a BFP - not ectopic - so that's great news.
She had a scan also BUT the doctor was concerned at the small size of the baby - so will keep everything crossed.

Those of you who have had e/m's does this seem to be the scenario???

donna has to have a couple of blood tests this week and see him in 2 weeks.

He suggested she take the week off work, but she has chosen to go to work, but be careful.

This is like having your cake in front of you and not being able to eat it..
Keeping fingers crossed for her and hoping all goes well in the next 9 months.. this is good news.... :)

Barbara please send my CONGRATULATIONS to Donna. What a rough path she is going thru. But the good thing is, its a BFP. Please tell her to have lots of Resting and taking it easy. Its a good thing she has chosen to go to work, that should help her mind refresh after such a terrible time.

GOODLUCK with the baby growing , MIRACLES happen to ordinary people and she is one living miracle we have witnessed.

So pleased to hear Donna's news - I love these real miracles. Keeping everything crossed that things carry on smoothly. Glad to read too that we seem to be having more successes recently. Congrats to all those with BFPs and, hoping that those who've had negatives are doing OK. Love

Hi Barbara and Donna

Congratulations on your BFP Donna!!
It was a worrying time for me when I got my +ve test because they said my HCG levels were lower than normal. My blood test 2 dys later showed my levels had gone up but only by 60% and the nurse said the embryo 'may be detaching'. At my first scan (Id calculated I was 6wks 3 dys) she measured it as 5 wks 2 dys and mentioned it was small, although she wasnt too concerned at this early stage. 2 wks later, scan showed it was the age I had originally thought and I am now 10 wks 2 dys !!
Its hard when you cant enjoy your BFP because of all the worries of low HCG levels and scans showing its smaller than it should be. There can be variations at this early stage on size.
I hope that everything works out for you Donna and you can go on to enjoy a happy healthy pregnancy.
Sorry for waffling on and taking up all this space on your June thread girls!
