Hi ladies,
I've been on vacation. Bad news. BFN! Extremely disappointed. We do have two frozen embies... Am going away again from 7-21 Jan. Meeting with dr on 5 Jan. Will prob do a cycle when we come home. Plus my 38 y/o sister in law called this morn to say that she's 13 weeks. Very excited for her, but it's still hard.
Love to all. Congrats to those with a BFP. Hope your pregnancies go well. All the other ladies with a BFN...we meet again for January...February 2ww!

Lana I'm so sorry about your BFN. It can be so hard to hear about a new pregnancy. It just stings. I remember right after my 3rd mc my sister in law called to say she was pregnant after 2nd mn of trying. I think I was actually a bit numb! Right after my 4th mc one of my BF called to say she was pg after one mn of trying!!! It sure comes easy for some. Big hug to you and lets hope 2006 brings us our miracles. All the amazing BFP's on this site show us how possible it is even after years of trying.

Here's to a new year of miracles for us with BFNs and very healthly pregnancies to those with BFPs!

Hiya girls,

Hang on in there, every last one of you. This whole baby thing is so hard for us who have problems, but if it's meant to be, then it's meant to be. At least we all know that we did our very best, whichever way it turns out in the end.

Hey, it's the start of another year and we should all be full of renewed optimism and excitement about all the BFP's that's coming our way.

Take care and have faith, it does work out eventually.
Dizzie x

Dear girls,

Thank you so much for all the support. A special thanks to Pam for creating a thread for me. I am finally happy to tell u all that it's a BFP for me. Since most of the labs were closed i could test only on 29th and they gave me just the HCG count thro the phone. Since my clinic was closed i couldn't call them up too. I confirmed it with my clinic today.
congrats to all the BFPs and so sorry to hear abt all the BFNs. Just a note of encouragement for u girls- just hang in there. Miracles do happen. This was my first FET. I was so negative and didn't expect it to click. Pls feel free to ask me any question if u have.

Happy new year!

love,
Ady.

Hey everyone!!
Well, we just had our consult with the dr, after our negative result this time around. Sad to say, Im not a very good responsder to the stim meds, therefore I don't produce many eggs. My FSH is at 9.7 and I will be tested again at the end of the month when AF arrives, if it is above the 9.7, re will not try another cycle. This cylce we only had 3 eggs, 2 became embries- 8cell no fragmentation on one- the other was 8cell with 5% frag, RE said of course there was no reason one of them shouldn't have attached, so IF we are able to go through with another cycle, she will glue the embries with added hope of them attaching permanently. She suggested we may want to look into Donor eggs and all that holds. I'm very much saddened by all of this. If my FSH does come back under the 9.7 we will very much GO FOR IT one last time. I will be testing FSH end of Jan / beginning of Feb- if a go- we will be looking at a March ET so I've already posted this on the Feb/March thread!! See ya over there!!!

ady, congrats on your BFP. you must be thrilled.

mbzz, your FSH level shouldnt stop you from doing another cycle if you want to. mine is 10 and it's never been an issue with my clinic. i'm not a good responder either, my first cycle was cancelled, but after a change in protocol and a bad start i then produced 5 good quality eggs and i'm now on the 2ww.
furthermore i've read posts here from girls who've had higher FSH and gone on to become pregnant and others who've had perfect cycles which didn't work. don't let 9.7 put you off!
wishing you all the best, i hope really hope it works out for you.

lana, so sorry about your bad news. good luck with FET when you come back. 2006 will be our year!!

 mbzz - You keep your chin up. My fingers are crossed for you.

2006 will bring the December tester friends much better luck.

Can you also tell me what you meant when you said they will try and GLUE the embies? What do they use for this?

Thanks

Love Jen x

Hiya mbzz,

I would talking to my clinic again and finding out if different drugs or doses could be considered. I had something weird happen on my cycle, I had an FSH level of 2.5 and they thought I would over stimulate, but I didn't stimulate at all for the first week. They then doubled my doseage for another 10 days and we eventually got 4 eggs. Everyone is different and sometimes things just work and we don't know why. Have you thought about trying acu? It can be great for getting everything flowing and working correctly and might be worth a shot.

Keep your chin up and keep thinking about your BFP in the near future.

Take care.
Dizzie x

Hi All!!

Jen- Seems as though the 'glue' is something that is being tried now and wasn't offered with my last cycle. They actually glue the embries to the sides of the uterus with hopes of 'helping' it attach then by itself- kinda like a headstart. I'm hoping it works. We are looking forward to trying again and hopefully get a better response with the eggs. :-)
