Is the birthday chain for our birthdays or babies? If so I'm July 17, my baby will be 12/12 if I make it till Monday;)

AFM: Been so busy with doctors appointments and work. My fluids have been steady at 11. Going back tomorrow for my last MFM ultrasound and appointment. I also have to do my pre-op tomorrow rather than Saturday. I'm hoping they will give a weight estimate on Lucas tomorrow. She wouldn't do it on Tuesday saying oh your not due till next week for a weight check. I"m like I'm having him on Monday. So tomorrow I actually see my doc and I'll ask her. I'm not sleeeping at all because of my lovely bladder (1 hour at a time now). Yesterday I had contractions all day and night ranging from 20 minutes apart to 10 minutes apart. Still getting some this morning but they don;t seem consistent enough for me to track them. When she checked me Tuesday I was still at 1cm though so that is good. I just want to make it to Monday. Hopefully my contractions stop for today because if they continue all day I may need to call the doctor just to be safe.

Hope everyone is doing well and having fun getting ready for the holidays. I'll be decorating on Saturday and pray while I'm in the hospital my cats don't take down my tree;)

Oh we are making a big Birthday list for our cycling buddies but your idea sounds like fun too.

EOE- sorry I have been a slacker and haven't said much lately. There really isn't enough time in the day. The girls had 3 doctors appointments this week- checkup Monday and they were 5lb15 and 5lb11 (I'm sure they are over 6 by now), opthamologist appts because they were born before 34 wks (all is good), and hip ultrasounds to check for any dislocation (good there too). I will try to catch up with everyone soon.

Sorry I have been MIA...life is busy!

Wanted to pop in and wish Kat good luck tomorrow! I hope that all goes smoothly with little Lucas' arrival!!

And, NWQUIZ: Congratulations!! You are 36 weeks...woohoo...how are you feeling? You are so quiet...not long now...

AFM: How is it my babies are 2 months old already?! We had 2 month appt and they got their first round of immunizations--poor babies. Had a difficult/fussy afternoon afterwards, but then all a-ok with some baby tylenol and extra lovin. Sofia is FINALLY breastfeeding 100% which is awesome and a relief for me. YIPPEE!! Levi will nurse for a few minutes, but is always needing a follow-up bottle of BM--but at least I am not having to pump as much as I only need to pump for one and not two anymore. I am still holding out hope that he will switch and nurse.

Both are growing well. Sofia is 8 lbs and Levi is not far behind at 7lb14oz!!

Blair- Uh! I finally found time to watch the Cats yesterday and they blew it. I don't think I am allowed to watch any more games this year. Turns out I am a jinx. Glad the girls checked out okay this week...3 for 3! You are going to be busy for the next 18 years. Don't worry about it. We understand.

Margi- Awesome that she started nursing 100%. Great work mama! I know you have been diligent in the process and it has paid off. Love the pics. Especially the one of that big healthy belly. Too cute.

Ryann- Happy Anniversary (a little early).

Ashley- hope the house hunting is going well. What a time to uproot! Its a fabulous time in many ways too.

Stephanie- yay on the schedule! That is really something to celebrate. Very happy for you and DH.

Lou- how was your first night out away from Chloe?

AFM- Lots going on here! We are back in our house. All the big remodel work is done, now its just completing a little painting and odds and ends. Its been hard to have to watch DH try to put it back together while I am on the couch. I just want to jump up and help get it done!

My team had their monthly in person meeting last week and it was also our holiday celebration. I joined by phone to lead the afternoon session and gift exchange. When I hung up I realized they hadn't presented me with a group gift like usual. I chalked it up to the fact that our company just put in place a very strong non-solicit policy that would preclude them from rallying people to collect for a joint gift. Boy was I wrong! My local manager stopped by Friday night with 16 gifts for me and Evelyn. DH and I had our own little private shower.

Lastly- I have an INTERVIEW tomorrow. I have been in my position or in a position of this grade level for the last 7 years and I know that I am in the "talent pool" for a next level promotion at work. Well guess what? I finally got the call about a specific opportunity last week. Thing is, the opportunity would require a move to another state. Not happening right now! I laughed so hard at the irony of the timing. Anyway, my boss suggested I do the interview anyway so I can explain to his boss (the hiring manager) my timeline in which I would be mobile. I definitely would be into it but just not right at this moment and I need to keep the door open. So its kind of a big deal, but not as big a deal as it would be if I really wanted the gig.

Thank you everyone for the well wishes. I'm so nervous and I've had a headache all day. Just took the meds doctor prescribed me and it really hasn't taken it away so going to try and nap.

Ryann-Happy early Anniversary. I actually had Angela on my Mom and Step-Dad's Anniversary. Hope youa nd the babies are doing well. You must be so busy between school and babies. Soon you'll be on your winter break though

Blissful- Awesome news on the chance to interview. Maybe they will make an exception for you and work with your timeline. Glad to hear your settling into the house. Make that husband work;) Hope your still takign it easy.

Blair- I hear you about being MIA. I've just been so drained myself and I can imagine after Lucas arrives I will barely have time to post.

I might not be on for a few days but will be on as soon as I'm up for it and post pictures. I normally don't do well after surgery as the last 2 I've gotten some pretty bad complications, hence I'm pretty scared. We are going in much better prepared and doing things a lot differant so hoping things go smoothly this time.

Yes 36 weeks already i go for my cervix check on tuesday and down to weekly apts. lol where has the time gone. seems like just the other day we were all cycling then beta now look? am almost the last of the bunch to drop my baby but am right there behind all of you and so ready.
Yes this last days have kinda been busy. if your ememebr hubby went back to school and he just got his masters yesterday. so we have been gone the last 3days for that occasion since he was in a school 2hrs away. Glad its over and now pray he gets a job. Otherwise things are moving along well.
I always love logging in to see those babies smiling. it fills my heart and cant wait to hold mine. men lovely babies. wish we could all meet one day for one big get together when the babies can run around with each other./ wont that be fun?

nwquiz- congrats on the Masters...that is a BIG deal for DH! Must be a huge weight off your shoulders and just in time for him to be a lot of help at home. I remember what that was like...writing papers every weekend all year long. You get your husband back! Blissful- you got it right. It already feels good having him around the hse more. No more late nights driving from school or working on papers. Now i just need the extra money to pay of some bills. That will be extra good and pay back to those that have been around for us.
