December-January Cycle Buddy's Our New beginnings
Sounds like everyone is hanging in there pretty well.... Vickie - hang tough yourself - the beautiful thing about this process is also it;s most agonizing, and that is: you just never know.... Keep up with positive imagery and staying relaxed - and, know that all of us here have our fingers doubly crossed (toes, too!!).
My question is that I have seen on the board many women who have testing days measured from day of retrieval rather than day of transfer.... I'm at 10dp ER (7dp3dt), and holding off on the HPT - so far! However, I was wondering whether this weekend (at 11 or 12dpER) would be way too soon to test on an HPT? My beta is not scheduled until a week from today, at 14dp3dt. I would prefer to HPT-it so I can start prepping myself for any news later next week, but I was curious as to any thoughts you all have re: timing based on the retrieval vs. transfer. I guess in the end, it really doesn't matter - but the 2ww is rife with all sorts of imaginings, real and phantom symptoms, etc. and it gives me just one more thing to obsess about!!!!
Also, I have been cramping alot (not phantom cramps) - and, it feels like AF is coming anytime - although in a normal cycle it would not be due until late next week (I'm on short protocol this time. #3, so I'm actually only at CD23.) This time definitely feels different from the last two tries just in terms of discomfort, but I do not want to get my hopes up... again!

p.s. I had cramping as well. If you are on progesterone shot/suppositories, that could cause cramping. My Dr. mentioned that progesterone gives you similiar symptons to AF. Cruel joke when that's the last thing you want to feel like.

PMA well done 14 eggs is a wonderful number and it sounds like it went so smoothly really happy for you..take good care of you rest up sending cheers to you and your DH's dish lets pray they are making magic....
Sassy LOL on the cheese and chocolate...mmm might be worth a try though....oh yeah i found out what all the pain is from.... ive been concentrating so much on my ovies i didnt notice it's been 3 days since ive been the loo....LOL so im working on fixing it......my right ovary always hides halfway through my cycles....stupid thing

About myself, I didn't go to work since my ER day, I feel bloated for 2 days now anyone had similar experience after ER. The nurse told me that this could happen, she asked me to keep on drinking water 2 to 3 litres a day and take Tylenol.
I feel better tonight, I'm actually pampered by my Dh and my mother in law who is cooking for me.
I will get a call tomorrow about the ET appointment for Monday.

Hi, Ladies.
My 2nd HCG level for today was 127, so Yeaahhh, the # did at least double. I have to go again on Monday for another test, then doc says if everything is fine, we will schedule ultrasound...woohoo...this is getting more and more real with each passing day! I'm still kinda in shock!
EMS - You're half way through the 2WW, just hang in there. I hope you're feeling better today.
Vickie - I'm so praying that this ends with a strong BFP for you. Hang in there...Sending you lots and lots of ((((hugs)))).
Wisconsingal - All my bloodwork has been at 7am and they usually call me back between 2 and 3. Although today, it was closer to 4 when I received the call. They really should figure a way to give you your preg result right then and there...it's really not nice to have us wait all day, plus hubby was calling/texting me all day the day of the first beta "did they call yet". I was like dude, what is your deal? He was way more impatient than I was. But I asked the girl that does the bloodwork about it this morning, and she said they usually don't get the results from the lab before 2pm.
Charlie: 2 babies all tucked in nice and tight...woohoo! So your 2 week journey begins...
